**The road to my property is open, Google is wrong** Nestled in a quaint old Fishing Town is a 4-Acre Forest property that hasn’t been touched since 1885! This land overlooks the North Atlantic Ocean, with a 25ft bank at the edge of the property, and almost 200ft of stone beach! No potable water on this property (well water is available by hose for cooking/cleaning/showering), but 10 minutes by car, you’ll find a Sobeys, a pub, a Home Hardware, and small local shops that carry camping supplies and so much more! There is a composting toilet being built, please either bury the bag when you are done, or double bag it and leave it in the garbage box at the end of the driveway. As a septic system is now on the property, I am unable to provide access to the waterfront campsite for camp-cars/RVs/trailers. 30 min drive away is the infamous Martinique Beach, a very popular surfing spot! Lots of hiking and site seeing available nearby as well. A long driveway is the entry point to the camping site. All I ask is that each camper leave the property better than they found it. As you depart, another camper is most likely arriving, so please keep that in mind. Enjoy the peace under the stars, and fall asleep to the sounds of the waves breaking against the shore, and the leaves rustling in the breeze! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- There is currently a Tiny Home on the property being built, and it is currently occupied by the property owner full-time. Garbage pick-up in this area only allows one black plastic bag to be removed every 2 weeks. If your garbage is in a clear bag the city will take it and you can put your sealed garbage in a clear bag in the wood box at the end of the driveway. The city ONLY takes clear bags. Recycling is allowed in blue bags. Due to this restriction, I am not able to handle all the campers garbage -- please take any that you create with you if you do not have clear bags. My husband and I loved using our pop-up camper here! The sound and view of the ocean with forest on either side - whimsical. Lots of wildlife around (birds, weasel, hare - probably more we didn't see in the dark!) A lovely location with necessities nearby, a kind host - we will be back for sure!

Beautiful view of the ocean. The spot felt a bit awkward as it's right in front of the house. The toilet setup was also a bit awkward - it's a bag toilet with a tent on top that kept falling over. If you have an RV with your own toilet it would be fine.

Great site at a great price. Right on the beach if you’re willing to slide down a cliff. The driveway is a bit rough coming in but that shouldn’t sway you away unless your car is crazy low to the ground. 10/10 would come back.

Spectacular views

Spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean with fishing boats coming and going from the Harbour. Soothing sounds of ocean beach waves and birds. Wildlife abundant , bunnies and deer. Very responsive and attentive hostess. Definitely going back!

Gorgeous view, meters away from the water (down a slight hill) and lots of space to set up. Two available firepits. Very windy at times! Also, it's worth mentioning that the host lives on the property within view of the sites. She's great and unintrusive, but privacy isn't total.

Spectacular views!!! Looking pout over islands, points, and everchanging and mesmerizing ocean waves. Ever in motion. And the wind can blow, but there are spots to take some cover. We enjoyed our conversation with Michelle. She provided a great oveview of her land and her vision of what it could be. Very much a work in progress, but very much worth staying there. Especially for primitive camping; fire ring, picnic table. Best for self contained units. Not so good for trailers. Some nice spots for tents. (more to come) Michelle has great plans for improvements which will make it that much better! Our Dogs had a great time too!

Loved the peace and solitude that the site provided. The view was incredible over the water especially with the moonlight. There is a bit of a bank and we couldn’t access the rocky beach below other than that it was a perfect night!

Beautiful and secluded spot with a stunning view, and space for a car and tents right by the fire pit. It gets windy (I was there in October) but the tiny home offered protection from the wind, as did my car. This was my first time in this part of the province and it did not disappoint!

What a remarkable oceanview!! We absolutely loved it here. Definitely my idea of a perfect campsite. Pretty rocky and windy so a good idea to bring an air mattress and something warm if it’s not the peak of summer but that isn’t a problem since it’s a drive in site.
