A scenic 5-minute hike leads to your semi-private beach—ideal for sunbathing, swimming, or adventurous boat paddling. Indulge in an exclusive lakeside sauna experience for $85. Enjoy a three-hour private session with sauna and beach all to yourself. We provide the ambiance, wood, and ensure unparalleled relaxation. If you would like to enjoy an outdoor fire you can use our outdoor propane fire pit for an additional $20 for each stay. Secure parking for one vehicle completes your tranquil escape. Book 'The Sparrow's Nest' for a harmonious blend of nature, comfort, and seclusion. Although some of the photos on this listing posted by guests have kayaks and paddleboards, you will need to bring your own - they are not provided due to liability issues, we're sorry about that. Situated on a mountain plateau overlooking beautiful Anderson Lake there is a rugged beauty to this land. Through a quirk of geography, our land is remote and wild while only being a 3 hour drive from Vancouver. Located at the beginning of the Highline Road popular with adventure seekers, this property is about a 10 minute drive from the Anderson Lake boat launch in D'Arcy. The lake is a fisherman's dream known for its rainbow and bull trout. Paddle boarding, hiking, biking, and motorized sports are among the activities enjoyed in the area. Upon ascending the initial gravel road climb, you will be greeted with fantastic mountain and lake views. Pines, cedars, firs, birch, and aspen make up the forest cover while junipers and wildflowers find their home in the clearings between the trees. Hot during the day and cool at night, the views truly glow just before sunset and then again as the moon rises to cast pale shadows on a land free from light pollution. The property is still under development, so please excuse the mess as we build out our off-grid spa and amenity spaces. Currently we only offer a compost toilet, but stay tuned for a further refined experience that will include access to water, showers, 6 person hammocks, and trails. At this time we do not allow fires due to local fire ban, but CSA approved propane fire pits will soon be available for rent.

The campsite is a 5-10 minute walk down the road to Gates lake, as well as a short drive away from Pemberton BC, Birkenhead lake, Anderson lake , Lillooet Lake, and Joffre Lakes. The perfect launch point for all your weekend adventures. On-site is a newly built compostable outhouse. As well as a seasonal creek that runs through it. Enjoy the beauty of Pemberton valley and all the neighbouring lakes, while having a nice cool site to come back to at the end of the day. Campfires are permitted as long as there is no fire ban, pets are welcome. Gas fire pit is provided on site new picnic table has is on site now, along with an updated driveway and parking as pictured
