We were travelling through Pemberton on our way to Whistler on a busy weekend and all the area campgrounds were full. We looked on Hipcamp and found Gabe’s place was 5 minutes away. Gabe was quick to reply to our message and the directions to get there were easy to follow. We spent a quiet peaceful night. Unfortunately the wild fire smoke in the area blocked the beautiful views we saw in the pictures. We were thankful to have the spot.

This was such a beautiful spot to stay for the night in our campervan. The views were amazing and even with two other campers on the land for the night, it was quiet and we used our van to create more privacy. Pemberton and area are gorgeous, it's well worth the trip!

Lovely view, though you sleep right next to the road, plus there are zero amenities. We booked this spot last minute as our travel plans changed so it was good enough for one night.

Lovely little lot just a couple of minutes from Pemberton (Backcountry Pizza has delicious pizza) with a breathtaking view in the evening. No service but as a quick stop before/after Whistler it's perfect. Thanks, Gabe, for being responsive and all friendly before and during our visit!

Very private; never met the host. Open field with 'to die for' views of the mountains. No services, but we can be self-contained. Whether it's worth the cost is up to you.

Gabe's property is gorgeous. The mountains, the meadow and the stars we saw were stunning. Gabe was very thoughtful to warn us of an accident that was going to block the road from Whistler for several hours. The road noise is noticeable, but eventually died down and we had a great stay.

Goed bereikbaar. Er wordt snel gereageerd. Genoten van het mooie uitzicht. Maar het ligt echt pal naast een weg. Niet zo'n drukke weg gelukkig. We wsren er op voorbereid dat er geen voorzieningen zouden zijn, maar dit was nog minder dan we verwachten: een kaal best hobbelig stukje weiland met hek eromheen waar je vrij je camper neer kon zetten. Tips: Een paar picknickbanken, een vuurkorf, een minder hobbelige entree (ons servies viel uit de kastjes kapot bij aankomst), één algemene waterkraan, een vuilnisbak voor het weilandje zou wat mij betreft minimaal zijn. En misschien bij aanvang even gedag komen zeggen als gastvrouw? Prijs is echt te hoog!

It’s a nice quiet place, lovely mountain view, but totally overpriced as for a parking space without outdoor table, garbage disposal or toilet. For this price we’ve seen much better recreational sites or even fully serviced campgrounds on the way. For 15 CAD I would totally recommend it, the town nearby is lovely, but for 50 CAD I would definitely choose some other place, which are in abundance in the area.

Very nice site and very friendly people. Awesome views. Uncomplicated to find. It comes at a cost and could be less in my taste for unserviced, but still highly recommended. The area is beautiful and the view is worth it.

We had a lovely night at Gabe’s place. It was a gorgeous sunny day and the view of the mountains, the blooming fields ahead of us on the other side of the simple wood fence was spectacular. On the same field later at dusk a beautiful black bear moseyed by…
The road is close and noisy at times but traffic died down at night.

Unfortunately I had to cancel last minute and the host was extremely understanding. I would not hesitate booking again in the future at Gabe's. Fantastic communications too, which it's always reassuring...
