The campground offers pull through RV Sites with non-potable water and septic connections. We are off grid so we have no power/electricity connections but allow generators.
We have space for big groups or just a quick get away for two, we can accommodate you.
We have flush toilets and outhouses as well as a hot shower for guest use.
We have a small store on site with your regular camping goodies, Ice, seasonal vegetable, as well as farm fresh eggs and all natural free range beef from our farm.
We are located 13km north of Northbend which is across the river from Boston Bar BC. Once you reach Boston Bar you will Turn left at the Esso and cross 2 sets of railroad tracks bringing you into Northbend, from Northbend there is about 6km of paved road after that there is 6km of gravel road until you reach our campground.
Past our campground is the beautiful Nahatlatch provincial Park which contains Francis lake, Hanna Lake and Nahatlatch Lake. The lakes offer an abundance of activities such as fishing, kayaking, canoeing, swimming and paddle boarding. The first lake is about a 15-20 min drive again on gravel road. 2 wheel drive accessible until 21km on the forest service Road after 21km you will need a 4x4, if you plan to travel to Grizzly falls or the 3rd Lake.
There are many hiking, biking, horseback riding and ATVing trails in the area.

Site was exactly as photographed! Beautiful scenery, very spacious and cozy tent. Really nice deck/hangout area right outside the tent, and the communal camper area was also quite nice. Fire pit and relaxation deck were used a lot during our stay. The free roam dogs were also a nice surprise. If you're not a dog person it might not be for you, but we personally loved hanging out with them and playing fetch with Cosmo. The resident cat Ninja was also a sweet heart. Nancy was great about checking in on us, and gave us much needed extra fire wood. Would come back for sure!

Loved waking up to the cows in the morning just outside the fence and the very quiet and lovely atmosphere. Would recommend to anyone for a stay near Kamloops. Rick is friendly and helpful host.

The place is well mainteined. Washroom is clean and works properly. The showers are pretty comfortable and private, and there is drinking water and energy outlet conection available, everything in good condition. Rick is very kind guy. The place is bautiful for me, the night is the best place to enjoy it because is possible to see the blue sky, stars and the contrast with the golden mountains and the grass. My wife and I enjoy it. My recommendation would be to get more trees to get more shadow, especialy during the day when the sun is on the top and the temperature arises, that also cold increase the number of birds and other animals and insects in the area, making it even more enjoyable.

It was nice to stay in a camp site that didn’t have a pit toilet for once ! It was located in a nice quiet area away from the highway with lovely wild life around. I would definitely stay again

Tent camping at Dalton's place was very enjoyable. Sadly, the area around was burned by fires, but the primary property was lush & green. We enjoyed touring the greenhouses and we brewed some fresh picked lemon verbena tea - what a treat!
Louie is a great dog, loves to play ball and even walked me back from the toilet to the tent during the night. We had a brief visit from resident kitty and humming birds. Dalton brought us a thermos of
coffee to get us started the next morning.
We appreciated this wonderful camping space and would stay again if we're in the area. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay! We had the entire place to ourselves which made it extra special and magical. The tent is very comfortable and I slept so well. Having the communal kitchen is really helpful. They did an excellent job lining the path to the tents with beautiful solar lights and the communal fire pit with lights is also so great. The stars at night were insane. Nancy was so kind and helpful answering all our questions. No complaints! I would absolutely come again.

When to go
Summers are hot and dry in Merritt, north to Kamloops and east into the Okanagan. Lakeside camping sites are in high demand and the wineries attract lots of tourists. In winter, the surrounding higher elevations get dry-and-fluffy snow stashes that attract "Champagne" powder hounds to local ski resorts near Kelowna, Vernon, and Kamloops.
Know before you go
- Most provincial parks take campsite reservations in advance (recommended throughout the high season of summer) and give an early priority booking window to BC residents.
- The Coquihalla Highway (Highway 5) that cuts through the North Cascade Mountains makes getting to Merritt smooth and easy from April to October, but it’s notorious for alpine snowstorms in winter. Check conditions before travelling. (Highway cams are set up along its 543-kilometer, north-south stretch.)
- This is arid country with frequent wildfire warnings throughout the summer months, so expect fire bans and be prepared for possible evacuations.
