Weekend Trip to A piece of the salmon valley

We were a group of 6 in 2 camper vans and a truck tent and the site by the gazebo was great. We enjoyed the views and got to wake up to horses grazing in the pasture. There was lots of space, it was flat, and there was a campfire ring right there. Good group camping spot. Ken was also so friendly and helpful. Such a great host. Charlie (the dog) came to visit as well, so we got to enjoy his company each day too. Would definitely stay here again!

We loved the camping there! The two hosts were super nice people and we ended up chatting quite a while while they showed us around. The campsite is very nice too: the pit toilet has a water bucket to wash hands and soap. Each campsite has a picknick table. There was only one other guest that night, so it was relatively privat. Would absolutely recommend.

We loved the Allison pitch...surrounded by apple trees and a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains, we especially enjoyed the privacy and the space it offered. Clean washrooms, a few animals (geese, sheep, alpacas), a picnic corner, fresh hot and cold water, super central and a very nice welcome... Actually everything you could wish for. We would come back anytime.

We loved the camping at Shauna’s land. She and her husband were so welcoming and kind. It was very easy to get to the place, we stayed there on our way to the Rockies. When to go

July and August are the area’s warmest months, when it’s nice to camp somewhere near fresh water. Campers visiting in spring and fall should pack a puffy, insulated parka to ward off any nighttime chill—temperature changes can be dramatic.
