We try to keep a large amount of space between sites and some are separated by trees. We are a walk in tent only site- parking is very close, 30 second walk. We can also provide access to electricity so you can charge your phones or other devices if needed. There is no cell reception, but we do have wifi. Potable water is available. We supply natural spring water but you must bring your own jug. We live in an adventure playground! Activities nearby include hiking, white rapid river rafting, fishing, watching bald eagles, Cultus Lake water slides and adventure park, mountain biking, and more! Weekend Trip to Lakewood Cabins

I loved my stay in Michael's Woodland Cabin. It was the perfect blend of tiny house living and camping. The outdoor bath under the stars and short hiking trail in the forest through lush ferns and moss made my stay even more special! Perfect spot to unplug completely (or even sneak in a little work while enjoying the view of the mountains and reliable internet, to boot). Our stay at Woodland Cabin in Chilliwack was wonderful! The cabin was cozy, and surrounded by peaceful forest. Michael was a fantastic host — friendly, responsive, and thoughtful. We had an amazing stay at Michael’s place! The cabin and the bathroom were super clean and well maintained, which made our stay very comfortable. The whole property is peaceful, surrounded by beautiful nature, and you can really feel the care and love put into every detail. Michael was such a kind and helpful host — friendly, responsive, and always making sure we had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting by the fire at night, watching the stars, and just relaxing in the quiet atmosphere. It was the perfect getaway from the city, and we’ll definitely come back again. Highly recommended!

The perfect 1 night getaway from the city. We are right for money right now but we wanted to get out of the city and Michael made that possible with his accessible pricing. He provided everything we needed so packing was light. The bathtub was a wonderful addition and both of us (both 6 foot plus) could fit comfortably inside. Will recommend!

2 nights at Bigfoot Hideaway on the Fraser

I loved the cabin and its energy. It is even more beautiful in pictures than in person. The host was very friendly and her dogs and cats were cute and ready to be pet. The landscape looks like a postal card. Strongly recommended!

1 night at Lakewood Cabins

This was a pretty great little spot. The cabin is small, but it had a good setup with a hotplate, sink, fridge, & microwave. There was a big very comfortable mattress in the loft. The bathroom wasn’t too far away across the parking area and it was well maintained, with a flush toilet and a sink. Everything during my stay was very clean. I walked down to the lake, and it was about 10 minutes on a nice trail through the woods which meets up with the main road just before the lake. Property has a horse, goats and other animals. It’s quite a nice place, the host was very friendly and I will definitely be back in the summer.

Such a quirky retro little bubble. Exactly what you want and maybe didn’t know you needed. This is the ultimate place to relax, gather your thoughts and reset.

When the lights come on at night, the vibe is magical. I had a cozy night by my propane fire and enjoyed the sound of the river!

We had a wonderful weekend getaway at Riverside Glamping. The hosts, Lisa and James were friendly and helpful without being intrusive. The site was exactly as described and all we needed to bring was food and personal items. The site itself was gorgeous and private. The yurt was beautifully done and very comfortable. We will be back for sure!

2 nights at Mixed Barrel Farm

We had such a great stay in this cozy trailer! It was super clean, bright, and had everything we needed for a comfy two-night getaway. Leah and Wayne are amazing hosts — communication was super easy, and we were so grateful that Leah provided a high chair when we asked, which made things so much easier with our little one. The cats were the sweetest and always around for unlimited pets! The mountain views were beautiful, and with the trees just starting to change colors, I bet it’ll look even more stunning in a few weeks. The only small challenges we had were getting the water temperature just right and the bedroom skylight making the room quite bright, which made naps a bit tricky for my baby who’s used to sleeping in a darker space. I co-sleep, and the bed is fairly high, but bringing a bed rail worked perfectly. Overall, we had a wonderful time and definitely recommend this trailer, especially for families with young kids. We’re so grateful for the experience and would love to come back!

It's a really great place. The host was also very kind, and the atmosphere of the harmonious family was particularly nice. The glamping site has everything, and the shower and toilets, which were of great concern, were really clean. The glamping site was full of romance and the host was kind. The disadvantage is that the network doesn't work, but it's slow because there's Wi-Fi, but Internet access is possible. The bathroom is clean and the glamping site I thought was to sleep in a poor environment for a day, but this place was so nice! +) It's a pity that I couldn't say hello to three pugs in the morning. Django, Theodore, Zeus Bye Bye:)

Michele has a kind heart and her animals are as sweet as pea. Very relaxing. Plenty of wildlife activity to watch on the river (bears, jumping sturgeon, osprey carrying fish). And it’s a short drive into Hope from the cabin.

My friend and I really loved this place. Facing the river view. The set up is reallly cute and cozy and they have everything prepared. Although the day we went was pouring but it was a really relaxing for us… The hosts are super friendly and nice !!!! I would love to come here again on the days that are not raining !!!

Mixed Barrel Farm is a hidden gem. Our family of four had such a wonderful, relaxing time at Leah's farm. Leah & her family were very welcoming. Leah is a very considerate & kind host. She communicated detailed instructions & provided all the essentials for a comfortable stay. She provided farm fresh eggs & gave us grape tomatoes from her vegetable garden. We enjoyed BBQing & breakfast overlooking the mountains. It was truly a peaceful retreat, being able to unplug & recharge. Can't wait to go back. Thanks again!

I loved glamping on Lisa and James’ land! They are wonderful hosts, and I felt very welcome and comfortable during my stay. The property is beautiful - right by the river with mountain views you can enjoy from your private deck. The tent was amazing too! It’s set amongst the trees, which provide perfect shade on a hot, sunny day. I had everything I needed to cook, relax, and enjoy myself.

Weekend Trip to Mixed Barrel Farm

Our family of four had a wonderful time at Mixed Barrel Farms. Leah and her family were perfect hosts, showing the kids around the farm to see the animals and allowing them to enjoy some fresh grapes and berries off the trees. The accommodation was cool, comfortable and clean plus had all the essentials for us to cook some great meals; the farm fresh eggs and homemade jam on arrival made us feel right at home. The location is perfect for families; relaxing, close to the river for a swim, and a quick drive into town if supplies are needed. Highlights for us were helping put the lambs to sleep, the cat companions guiding us around the farm, and BBQing while overlooking the beautiful farm. This was truly a peaceful paradise which gave us a restful retreat. We’d highly recommend the farm to young families wanting to relax and see their kids enjoy the outdoors. Thank you so much! We will be back.

Where to go

Sasquatch Provincial Park

Sasquatch Provincial Park is a beloved region known for its collection of small lakes, stunning second-growth birch forests, extensive biodiversity, and of course, stunning views of BC’s imposing mountain ranges. Spanning more than 1,200 hectares, Sasquatch Park has something for everyone—boat across the lakes (or take advantage of paddleboard rentals in town), enjoy a day of tranquil fishing, or choose from three light, on-site hikes. Afterwards, enjoy an evening at a riverside campground or glamping spot—ideally, complete with a hot tub.

Mount Outram

For campers in search of a more challenging hike, Mt. Outram is the go-to spot. Featuring over 18 kilometres of trails to explore, this rugged hike displays BC’s natural beauty. Find the way through uphill switchback climbs through the pine, cedar, and fir trees until finally breaking into the subalpine region. From here, technical skills are required to handle the final scramble, navigating boulders and scree to finally reach the unbelievable vista at the summit. After a tough hike well done, relax at a creek campground, recreation site with full hookups and firepits, or a quiet RV park.

Silver Lake Provincial Park

If undeveloped, wild nature is the draw to BC, then Silver Lake Provincial Park tops the list of must-see locations. At 77 hectares, these lakefront lands are home to countless species of plants and animals (including black bears, so proceed with caution), as well as breathtaking views of nearby mountain ranges. Silver Lake Park is a great spot for a boat cruise, canoeing trip, or for a short hike and a picnic to take in the beautiful Skagit Valley.

When to go

Camping season in Hope, BC is best enjoyed in late spring, summer, and early fall. Since Hope is located in a temperate rainforest, other times of year tend to be very rainy (on average 20 cm of rain per month in the winter), with many parks and attractions closing for the off-season. Large crowds aren’t really a concern in warmer months, however, there are natural hazards active in the season (such as black bears and ticks).
