There is also a super fast wifi for exclusive mobility, 2 flat screen TVs, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney Plus. The space is really idea for 2 people however there are 2 bunk beds in a smaller space that could accomidate smaller children or other smaller stature adults that don't mind a small bunk bed sleeping area. A lot of remote worker like this place. It's faster and quieter than home surrounded by nature. We've focused on the outdoor area covered and private decks outside giving it the feel of an outdoor living, complete with a new BBQ, outdoor living room / seating area / kitchen. There is a private soft tub for comfy soaks.

We have a 7 acre developing hobby farm currently with fruit trees, a garden, a king shepherd named Jack and a cat named Lulu. You may see some of our neighbour's ducks walking around and hear their rooster in the morning. Please note; our driveway is an uphill, switchback driveway so long trailers are not a fit for our location. Front wheel or 4 wheel is a plus but typically all vehicles can make it up our driveway. We have 2 swimming holes near and backing our property. At the back of the property is Hayward Lake/Hairsine Creek which is great for swimming. Inflatable paddle boards are the way to go if you wish to paddle board in the lake since it would be difficult portaging a rigid paddle board down the Crown Land trail. On the front is the Stave River Runoff. This has trails and is ideal if you have smaller children as the water is a bit warmer and has shallow areas. There are hiking trails in the area and a beach area a short drive from the sites.

The toilet is flushable, and we provide RV toilet paper that is made specifically for our RV plumbing system. The water heater works well and heats up pretty quickly. However, it is a standard RV water heater which means you'll have about 5-6 minutes of hot water until it heats up again. The shower head has a stop button to control water usage while you are showering. Lastly, please do not be surprised that Lucinda is small; she is small. However, we find her to be a comfortable resting place. -Guest access- You may use the outdoor areas located directly outside of the RV but please respect the area around the adjacent private residence as off limits.

The belle is an off-grid seasonal tent with electric candles for lighting and a composting toilet. At night there are solar string lights--should you want them--which illuminate the path to the tent. On clear nights, turn the lights off to star-gaze through the branches.

Meals can be ordered as needed or for the entire duration of your stay. Order or pack your own picnic lunch and spend the day exploring one of several beaches, each unique and beautiful in their own way. With no commercial services available on this island, you will truly feel like you have escaped to the great outdoors. Cell phone signals can be spotty or unavailable in some areas of the island, but there is a reliable signal on the property. We have a 7 acre developing hobby farm currently with fruit trees, a garden, a king shepherd named Jack and a cat named Lulu. You may see some of our neighbour's ducks walking around and hear their rooster in the morning. Please note; our driveway is an uphill, switchback driveway so long trailers are not a fit for our location. Front wheel or 4 wheel is a plus but typically all vehicles can make it up our driveway. We have 2 swimming holes near and backing our property. At the back of the property is Hayward Lake/Hairsine Creek which is great for swimming. Inflatable paddle boards are the way to go if you wish to paddle board in the lake since it would be difficult portaging a rigid paddle board down the Crown Land trail. On the front is the Stave River Runoff. This has trails and is ideal if you have smaller children as the water is a bit warmer and has shallow areas. There are hiking trails in the area and a beach area a short drive from the sites.

However, it is a standard RV water heater which means you'll have about 5-6 minutes of hot water until it heats up again. The shower head has a stop button to control water usage while you are showering. Lastly, please do not be surprised that Lucinda is small; she is small. However, we find her to be a comfortable resting place. -Guest access- You may use the outdoor areas located directly outside of the RV but please respect the area around the adjacent private residence as off limits.

Lucinda features all the comforts of home snugly assembled in one cozy room. Great for a quick stop, weekend stay, or fun alternative place to have a break. Lucinda has a toaster, tea kettle, pots, cast-iron pan, and all your basic kitchen needs. Feel free to use the stove-top to heat something up or call in a meal with SkipTheDishes or DoorDash. In need of a coffee fix? If you are feeling organic, help yourself to local whole beans, or we have ground coffee for a speedier option. Savour it in genuine vintage Denby stoneware! Enjoy our comfortable mattress, pillows, and high-quality linens. Towels, toiletries, and a clothes steamer are provided for your convenience. You can adjust the thermostat to your liking, and the MaxxFan air vent works like an A/C on summer nights to keep you comfortable. Lucinda has a small table for meals or working on your laptop. The bed is a small full-size bed and can accommodate one adult or two slender adults who like to be close together 😉. You can stretch out comfortably at a length of 6’3”. Due to the size of the trailer, it may not be suitable for children. There is not currently a TV, but you will have access to WiFi, so be sure to bring your laptop to cuddle up and watch your favorite shows or movies in bed! The bathroom is, frankly, a fairy-sized wet room – Lucinda is economical like that. It will give you a decent shower though and we provide bath towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The toilet is flushable, and we provide RV toilet paper that is made specifically for our RV plumbing system. The water heater works well and heats up pretty quickly. However, it is a standard RV water heater which means you'll have about 5-6 minutes of hot water until it heats up again. The shower head has a stop button to control water usage while you are showering. Lastly, please do not be surprised that Lucinda is small; she is small. However, we find her to be a comfortable resting place. -Guest access- You may use the outdoor areas located directly outside of the RV but please respect the area around the adjacent private residence as off limits.

In a cedar grove, nestled among the ferns, a lotus belle tent awaits you. A unique bed and breakfast in an off-grid tent. Inside the belle tent there is a comfortable double bed with clean sheets, plump pillows, and a warm Pendelton blanket. A 'west coast homestead basket' with granola, fruit ,and farm eggs is provided for a nutritious breakfast. A Berkey water filter provides delicious water from our mountain well. Inside the tent, a comfortable chair looks out over the mossy forest toward the creek. There is room to stretch, and a couple of yoga mats to use. A stretch is especially nice after exploring the nearby trails through Mount Maxwell forest. The trails take through a varied and fascinating forest. Along the way are mossy knolls with vistas of the valley, ocean, and Vancouver Island. One trail leads all the way to Burgyone Bay. The belle is an off-grid seasonal tent with electric candles for lighting and a composting toilet. At night there are solar string lights--should you want them--which illuminate the path to the tent. On clear nights, turn the lights off to star-gaze through the branches.

I loved my stay in Michael's Woodland Cabin. It was the perfect blend of tiny house living and camping. The outdoor bath under the stars and short hiking trail in the forest through lush ferns and moss made my stay even more special! Perfect spot to unplug completely (or even sneak in a little work while enjoying the view of the mountains and reliable internet, to boot). Add in the easy check-in/out, quick responses to questions and friendly host means I will be back!

What a perfect stay! Michele was a lovely host and the cabin was in such a beautiful, peaceful spot. I loved the vibe of the cabin, cosy with the option to make a fire (loved chopping wood), and lots of cosy dvds' and vhs's to watch on the couch. The cabin also had its own privacy (its far enough from the main house & has its own driveway) which was perfect for us. It's located in a super convenient spot too, probably the best part of the island to stay - right next to a few cute shops, coffee carts and a restaurant while still being tucked away in the woods. Also next to a lovely hike. Would highly recommend!!!

Love the micro-cabin. It is very compact and thoughtfully designed. We enjoyed the firepit and kitchen. Kito was very healpful and even provided us with extra heater. The water in the outdoor shower is very cold so it could be improved. But im sure that Kito will immediately fix it if you message him. We didnt need to use it during that time so it wasnt a problem for us. Overall, it is a nice place and very private. We also enjoyed the trail.

We had an amazing stay at Michael’s place! The cabin and the bathroom were super clean and well maintained, which made our stay very comfortable. The whole property is peaceful, surrounded by beautiful nature, and you can really feel the care and love put into every detail. Michael was such a kind and helpful host — friendly, responsive, and always making sure we had everything we needed. The perfect 1 night getaway from the city. We are right for money right now but we wanted to get out of the city and Michael made that possible with his accessible pricing. He provided everything we needed so packing was light. The bathtub was a wonderful addition and both of us (both 6 foot plus) could fit comfortably inside. Will recommend!

This was a pretty great little spot. The cabin is small, but it had a good setup with a hotplate, sink, fridge, & microwave. There was a big very comfortable mattress in the loft. The bathroom wasn’t too far away across the parking area and it was well maintained, with a flush toilet and a sink. Everything during my stay was very clean. I walked down to the lake, and it was about 10 minutes on a nice trail through the woods which meets up with the main road just before the lake. Property has a horse, goats and other animals. It’s quite a nice place, the host was very friendly and I will definitely be back in the summer.

We had such a great stay in this cozy trailer! It was super clean, bright, and had everything we needed for a comfy two-night getaway. Leah and Wayne are amazing hosts — communication was super easy, and we were so grateful that Leah provided a high chair when we asked, which made things so much easier with our little one. The cats were the sweetest and always around for unlimited pets! The mountain views were beautiful, and with the trees just starting to change colors, I bet it’ll look even more stunning in a few weeks. The only small challenges we had were getting the water temperature just right and the bedroom skylight making the room quite bright, which made naps a bit tricky for my baby who’s used to sleeping in a darker space. I co-sleep, and the bed is fairly high, but bringing a bed rail worked perfectly. Overall, we had a wonderful time and definitely recommend this trailer, especially for families with young kids. We’re so grateful for the experience and would love to come back!

I would recommend for my low maintenance friends as the pee toilet in the cabin is a separate room with a seat, however is a 20gallon paint bucket that you do have to clean. This didn’t bother me, but may bother some. I didn’t shower when I stayed because the shower was very dirty and full of garbage from previous guests. The compost toilet is clean and right around the corner from the cabin. There are workers/helpers/younger (quiet) crew who live on site and are very helpful and wonderful. I loved staying here and will be back. My only concern was the lack of cleanliness of the shower. I’ve posted an updated photo.

Mixed Barrel Farm is a hidden gem. Our family of four had such a wonderful, relaxing time at Leah's farm. Leah & her family were very welcoming. Leah is a very considerate & kind host. She communicated detailed instructions & provided all the essentials for a comfortable stay. She provided farm fresh eggs & gave us grape tomatoes from her vegetable garden. Staying in Karen & Kito's A-frame cabin was a super unique experience! With a solar-powered battery, a little propane heater a stove and BBQ, I had everything I needed to enjoy a lovely night at the Tiny Secrets Farm :) I was able to have the window wall open late into the night. There were no bugs!! It was fun to explore the property, visit the rabbits and chickens and chat with Dan, the caretaker, who was super friendly and made sure I had a great stay! I really loved how quiet and peaceful it was! The shower is rustic but hot water is really all I needed ;)
