Tiny Secrets Farm & Retreat is an Award-winning Glamping Nature Retreat. We are centrally located on the Sunshine Coast (only a 40-minute ferry ride from Horseshoe Bay) on a spectacular 10-acre ocean-view property. We run a small, organic farm and host guests in intriguing tiny homes and glamping tents. We have everything from a converted schoolie with a woodstove and an ocean view, furnished RV's with large decks, to gorgeous, furnished campsites in the woods. Check out our micro cabins, RV's, and assortment of glamping tents. Our property is a nature oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Just 20 minutes north of Sechelt, we're close to beaches and lakes. Enjoy our recreation area with a large pond (much smaller in the summertime), our small playground for young kids, and our small orchard with several small ponds. Explore our walking trails, visit our chickens, or sit near our seasonal waterfall. There are many spots on the property to sit and chill. We've also been Airbnb hosts for over 13 years.

Imagine staying in a beautiful converted school bus atop a mountain with an ocean view! Our spectacular 10-acre ocean-view property is centrally located on the Sunshine Coast, just a 40-minute ferry ride from Horseshoe Bay in West Vancouver. It’s full of whimsical Tiny Secrets, the name of our Retreat. We also run a small organic family farm with an orchard and several ponds and raise free-range chickens. As a guest, you are welcome to explore our 10 acres and enjoy the walking trails, child's playground, and many charming seating areas. Our schoolie features bamboo floors, a very comfortable queen-size bed, a full kitchen, a sit-down shower, and a compost toilet. The comfortable love seat (can also be a bed for a small child) faces the ocean view. The fully supplied kitchen has a microwave, toaster oven, and two hot plates as well as a small fridge with a freezer. There is a large barbecue outdoors and a patio set with 4 chairs on the plateau facing the ocean view. This is the perfect spot to come and recharge; very relaxing and romantic. A small child can sleep on the couch. If you’re coming with a pet, please bring a bed or clean blanket for the pet to sleep on. NOTE: the bus is not large enough to accommodate a third person abs a pet. We only accept one pet at a time. Guests coming for less than a week must bring their own queen-size sheets and pillowcases. We supply a covered duvet, pillows, towels, dish cloths, etc. NOTE: Ceiling height is approx 5’ 10”. The bus is only suitable for 2 adults. A 3rd guest is welcome, but as they will be sleeping on the loveseat, it's only suitable for a small child.

As a guest, you are welcome to explore our 10 acres and enjoy the walking trails, child's playground, and many charming seating areas. The lovely, luxury glamping tent sits on a huge deck in the woods. This site features a queen-sized bed, couch, hardwood floors, a kitchen cart, an expanding table and chairs, and a bookcase with games/books. The well-equipped outdoor kitchen is under an awning. The private fire pit with benches and the comfy Adirondack chairs on the deck lit up with solar lights are awesome for chillin! NOTE: We provide firewood for the wood stove but NOT for the fire pit. You should be able to scavenge in the forest for wood for that, assuming that it hasn't rained recently. Gas stations also sell bundles of wood. We even have a pee toilet on site for those night-time visits. The bright, outdoor shower and compost toilet is just across the pond. We supply a cooler with an ice pack that can be exchanged during longer stays. Guests coming for less than a week must bring their queen-size sheets and pillowcases. We supply a covered duvet, pillows, towels, dishcloths, etc. Pets must sleep on their bed or blanket and are NOT allowed on the bed or couch.

As a guest, you are welcome to explore our 10 acres, and enjoy the walking trails and many charming seating areas. With windows on all sides, the micro cabin is bright and nature is all around you. Access to the comfy double bed in the sleeping sleeping loft (with an opening window) is via a ladder that integrates into the bookcase to save space. Our custom couch converts to another double bed with lots of storage in the pull-out drawers. The live-edge maple countertop is definitely a highlight, along with the outdoor kitchen area. With power for lights and the mini fridge, the simple water system operates with a foot pump. World-famous Berkey water system filters your drinking water. The kitchen is well-equipped and there is a selection of books and games for your entertainment. For your convenience, we even have a pee toilet onsite; the full compost toilet and outdoor shower are just steps away. The large covered deck features a bar counter, barbecue and bistro set and is lit up with solar lights. One well-behaved pet is allowed if 1 or 2 guests are coming. We have many unique listings on our spectacular, ocean-view, 10-acre mountain property. Guests are allowed to wander our property. We have garden areas, a small orchard, several ponds, walking trails, and several lovely spots to sit and relax. This beautiful 4-meter bell tent is on a large deck, furnished in a bohemian style. The very comfortable queen mattress has a memory foam topper. Comfy, soft carpet with a round table & cushions provides lots of space for relaxing. The tent is equipped with a propane heater for the cooler shoulder seasons. The screen tent provides cover for the outdoor kitchen. This beautifully landscaped site has a private firepit with an outdoor dining table complete with an umbrella. The fully equipped outdoor kitchen has a propane 2-burner camp stove and there is a communal barbecue just across the road. Water is supplied as well as dishes, cutlery, cooking equipment, and dishwashing supplies. We suggest bringing your own cooler, but if you don’t have one, we can supply a small cooler with a frozen ice pack. Be sure to let us know when you book. We supply a covered duvet, pillows, and dish towels. You only need to bring sheets, towels, a cooler and of course, your food. This site doesn't have wifi but we have wifi on the property in two locations. Be sure and ask us for the info if you'll be needing wifi. Note: This listing is located in the camping area of our property. You must park in our loading area and walk a short distance to the site. It has its own large picnic table and all of the camping gear including a camp stove, solar lantern, double air mattresses (2), dishes, cutlery, pots and pans, and all dishwashing supplies. All you need to bring is your cooler, food, pillows, and clothes! We have 2 wooden, Viking chairs and a fire pit ready for roasting marshmallows. This campsite (#17 on our Map) gets a lot of sunshine and sits a little higher than its sister site. There is a little creek that runs alongside it (in the shoulder seasons, and after rainfall). Like our other furnished campsites on platforms, it comes with two double air mattresses, a camp stove, solar lantern, potable water, dishes and cutlery, pots and pans, dishwashing equipment, and its own campfire. All that you need to bring is a cooler, food, pillows and your clothes! There is also a hammock at this site for relaxing. Its sister site is the Forest Facing Furnished Campsite (#16 on our Map).

Cute Off-Grid Micro A-Frame Cabin

Get cozy and settle into this adorable, custom, off-grid A-frame MICRO cabin; a mini paradise in the woods, surrounded by landscaped gardens. For cooler weather, the cabin has a marine propane heater mounted on the wall. With its whimsical design, the micro A-frame cabin is charming and bright, and nature surrounds you. It looks so tiny on the outside, but it feels much larger on the inside, especially when you open the window wall. The comfy couch converts to a double bed with storage underneath for bedding. The cozy loft (for a child or storage) is accessed with a collapsible ladder located near the entrance. The live-edge cedar kitchen countertop is a highlight, along with beautiful hardwood floors. Solar powers the lights and we supply you with a power bank unit to charge your devices. The simple water system operates with a foot pump. We also provide you with filtered drinking water. The kitchen is well-equipped and you'll find a selection of books and simple games for your entertainment. You'll cook on a two-burner propane stove and can keep food cool in the supplied cooler designed to keep food items cold for several days. We can replace the ice packs with frozen ones when needed. It's a 2-minute walk to our compost toilet and hot shower. This site only has 15 amp service as we have limited power.

Charming Peacock Micro Cabin & Loft

I absolutely loved this cozy cabin. It had everything needed to cook and feel comfortable. I loved the big windows which made me feel immersed in the woods. The property itself is thoughtfully designed and environmentally conscious. Kito and Amos were great hosts - super communicative and welcoming. I would definitely stay again and have already recommended this place to friends.

Had a lovely couple of nights staying in the School bus. Our ferry was cancelled but Karen & Kito were very flexible and let us reshuffle our trip with no stress. Bus was fully kitted and has everything you need for a short stay. Bed was ridiculously comfortable!

Very cute and quiet spot! We initially booked 2 nights at Tiny Secrets but extended another 2- the location was perfect for us to bop around to all the places we wished to visit on the Sunshine Coast- from Gibsons to Egmont. We liked that it was off the highway, quiet, and our site was tucked at the top of the property and received a lot of sunshine. A perfect and humble spot for a weekend getaway.

What a beautiful spot! The cabin was cozy for my family of 4 and a dog but was a great “in between” camping and an Airbnb. So many thoughtful touches the kitchen really has everything you need. The facilities were clean and shower water hot! We hiked every day with the Smugglers Cove a big hit. Truly a magically little area of BC. We will be back!

Rainy weekend turned sunny

Converted School Bus - Ocean View

We stayed in the renovated school bus for the weekend. The whole property is like a magical little get away and the bus was comfy and cozy during the rain :) The owners were friendly and the dogs and chickens kept us entertained. Come for a weekend to enjoy some of great hikes in the area or just take the time to rest in this little paradise- you won’t regret it!

A-frame cabin of my dreams

We stayed in the A-frame micro-cabin for 5 days. We are already dreaming of our next visit! Despite getting the "atmospheric river" vacation treatment, it had virtually all the amenities you could ask for in for a rainy day of off-grid living. It was beautiful and felt quiet (minus all the chorus frogs at night :D) and luxurious. The hosts were responsive and friendly, we even got some doggo time as they let their dogs roam near the chicken coop. Couldn't ask for a better "glamp" experience!

Converted School Bus - Ocean View

I loved our stay on this magical school bus! Karen and Tito had the bus cleaned and ready before we’ve arrived. They provided us with clear instructions and a guide for our stay. Although I did not get a chance to meet them, they were extremely communicative through text to ensure we arrived safely. This is one of the coolest experiences I’ve ever had. I also had the best sleep of my life! I would recommend this to everyone that is looking for a glamping experience.

The bus is adorable and cozy! There were some issues, apparently caused by some recent inclement weather, but the hosts are incredibly sweet and were very responsive to fix things as they came up. Micro Cabin with Deck in the Woods

I cannot express enough how special my stay at Karen and Kito's Tiny Secrets Farm & Retreat was. The Cabin's are unique and very well designed for comfort, fun features and a joy to stay in with windows all around for viewing the forest. The Micro cabin was a cozy, healing space for me with environmentally respectful features such as rainwater collection for the sink and water filter, compost for food scraps and compost outhouse. The layout of the farm's cabins and tent sites is sensitive to the natural layout of the land and creative touches are everywhere. I am definitely coming back again for a beautiful and restful stay. Lovely getaway

Converted School Bus - Ocean View

I loved the Schoolie. We stayed there for two nights but would have been happier with much longer. It was cozy, warm (even in December), and had everything we needed - from kitchen supplies to wifi. The hosts were gracious, generous and responsive. And the sunset wasn't bad either. It was a beautiful escape and I'll treasure the memories. Would certainly recommend. Thank you :)

I really enjoyed my 7 night stay in the converted school, it exceeded my expectations. It had everything I needed and was warm, cozy and comfortable. To top off my amazing experience I got to see the Northern Lights on my last night!

Romantic Bell Tent in the Forest

I had a very nice stay with my boyfriend and our dog. We got upgraded to the wall tent because of an issue with the air mattress in the bell tent. That was pretty fortunate as we had more room to stay inside as it was raining most of the time. When the rain stopped we could sit by the fire pit and watch the stars :) I would totally recommend a stay at Karen & Kito‘s as long as you‘re okay with compost toilets and not having a sink to wash your dishes. Thanks for having us! :)

Luxury Glamping Tent in the Woods

We loved our stay here! The glamping tent had everything we could ever need. Kito, Karen and Amos were super helpful, especially with giving us dry wood for our fire. Would stay again!

Everything in the description was exactly as it was upon arrival! The glamping tent was very clean, organized and equipped for our stay. The campground was very quiet and cozy. Kito and Karen are excellent host and I would recommend anyone to stay here!

Cozy and fun!

Converted School Bus - Ocean View

We loved staying on the school bus!! It was clean and spacious and we had our own private space with a BBQ and fire pit. There was also a lovely hammock nearby! The hosts were so kind and helpful to us, and the farm was beautiful. We were able to see the rabbits and chickens, visit a local farmers’ market, and see lots of nearby nature!
