Trapper's Tent Riverside

The camping site was really good and already set up and ready for use by the time we checked in. Facilities like water pump washrooms and showers were available 24/7. The only issue was that we were allocated a wrong tent number so when we arrived at the campsite number that shows on our booking there was somebody there already. Their office was closed but fortunately there was an emergency contact and the manager on duty came as soon as possible to help us out. It turns out that Hipcamp allocated us a wrong site number but she was able to get us to our tent with all the facilities that we asked for. The stay was very comfortable. There was a heater available in the tent and a lamp for use. I would totally recommend it for anyone trying to get a camping experience but also wants to make use of some modern facilities like the shower and washroom.

It's not really 'riverside. We paid a bit more for riverside, which this was not. Otherwise it was a great place.

Exactly what it says on the the tin, the whole area is so expensive for accommodation and tents are no exception. Supply and demand. Lovely site and helpful staff

We have a great experience staying in the tipi! We had a late check in and the bedding/towels we reserved were waiting for us in the tipi. The bathrooms was spotless and well maintained. The grounds were welcome and well kept. Thanks for adding fun to the adventure!
