Overall we would never go back, we were pleased with the tenting spot and the view of the river and several trails to walk. On the other hand, the outhouses were FULL, I checked 4 of them and they were all full some cleaner than others but disgusting none the less. The garbages were over flowing. One guy when we arrived told us fire wood was $50 for a bag, the next guy told us $20.
This could be an amazing campground but needs some care and a good cleanup.

While an interesting idea this place is not maintained (no qualifier needed). The pictures online are very misleading. When you enter the property you are met by garbage scattered across the property. The office is an old run down trailer with instructions haphazardly placed on particle board.
When you drive through to a campsite, most of them don’t look appealing. They have old broken down children’s play sets and again more random junk.
The only redeeming quality are the few sites along the river. However again here it is obvious that they don’t care for the land. There is garbage strewn everywhere from past campers who obviously should have cleaned up. The garbage bins are all over flowing and there is no where to put trash except for being it out yourself.
I would suggest avoiding this spot.

We enjoyed how quiet the place was and the easy access to the water, it had a very laid back atmosphere, reminded us of growing up in the UK in the 70's, we were left to explore and wonder around without any mention of rules and dog restrictions.
The portapotty though were pretty bad, splattered, full and stinky, could definitely do with being emptied and some sort of cleaning schedule.
The location is great, friendly atmosphere

When I got to the area there weren’t clearly designated sites (like with a fire pit, picnic table, etc), just a sort of open area with RV’s miscellaneously scattered & trash was everywhere. In fairness it was a really windy day, but still…
People were nice, location was great (half between Banff & Calgary), little shops down the road, but the area itself was just kind of a mess. Probably great for RV’s or car camping, but wouldn’t recommend for tent camping.

After reviewing the the website I was excited to spend a night at Onespot Campground. I try and support indigenous ventures when I can and consider myself a ally. I was disappointed that there was no celebrations going on the night I was there (bad timing on my part). The camp experience was disappointing. There was no water available ( had to bucket water from the river). The port a potties were few and far between. They were disgusting and had not been service or cleaned in a long time- full of garbage and Flys. The roads were very badly rutted and potholes. Damage my camper crawling though the Campground.
Maybe I was at Onespot at a bad time but would not go back again.

We were a group of 7 with 4 tents, we fit perfectly here at Onespot. Very beautiful land, we could hear the river at night while sleeping in the spot we chose. It wasn't packed so it felt private & it was clean and easy to find. I liked how bragg creek shops were nearby too if you needed something. I highly recommend to others. We could swim and chill in the river, there were people tubing down the river too. Very peaceful spot!

We drove in from saskatchewan to visit family and friends and to drop my daughter off at her dad's for 2 weeks for a visit. It just off the number 1 hiway so it's very convenient to get too and beautiful sites walking distance to the beautiful elbow river with mountain views and there where washrooms close by, I camped with my husband and our three children fire wood was provided and we really enjoyed our stay and will be staying agin soon.

The land was stunning! Easy communication between host and us, and there’s so many spots to choose from. Basic amenities were included. Extremely peaceful and quiet.

10/10! On our way in, we stopped to say hello to David, who warmly welcomed us. The road was a little bumpy, but my old ‘96 Nissan could handle it just fine. Our camping spot was right by the river. Toilets were easily accessible. I would recommend David’s camp site to all friend and family.

Love how beautiful it is out there love how the horses walk right pass us the kids where petting them and they were so great with the little kids the campsite was clean and nice.
It was awesome having the River right there and nice to falling a sleep to the sound of the River

Arriving just before the long weekend, we found a large and open (with some tree coverage) site across the road from the river. There were a lot of people arriving over the weekend and while it was "celebratory" in nature with some large family gatherings (to be expected anywhere on a long weekend), overall it was quiet, well spaced, well equipped (porta potties nearby and very clean), and well kept up (mowed, etc.). The road was a bit rough and we didn't go as far as we would have liked due to that. The folks at the greeting station were friendly, although when we arrived it was a bit tough to figure out where we should be going.
As others have mentioned, the campground - being in its earlier stages - is a bit rough around the edges but we could clearly see the intent and potential. That said, for me personally, I respect and value that it is an Indigenous-owned campground on Nation land and was happy to contribute towards it's success.

Although we enjoyed our trip overall, the road in was horribly bumpy, the check-in station accidentally charged one of our group $60 because they didn’t know they were with us even after explaining, and the sites weren’t very clearly marked.

The campsite overall has some great spots. This location was good enough we had a great time. Close to the water entrance, friendly hosts, clean bathroom right beside and a fire pit. The only thing is this spot is between two others with no tree coverage so didn’t feel very private. But we Booked last minute before the long weekend so can’t be too picky. Was good for one night but would choose another campsite at this location with more privacy for more then one night.

Overall the site itself is very pretty - wildflowers and fields that are natural and calming. We camped by the creek and a few trees, but the area is quite open so campers were close by. My issue was getting there. The linked map took us to a private property about 15 minutes away from the campsite. The owner of the property was very angry, and said this was the second time that day someone had shown up looking for a campsite. At this point it was dark and we were out of service and couldn’t get a good connection. I was luckily able to see the address on the app, which was way closer to Bragg Creek than the directions took us too. The mistake added an extra hour to our trip by the time we arrived at the right place. Use the wintergreen road address and not the linked map. I wish I would have cross referenced the two, but being from out of town and seeing the linked map was in the general area of Bragg Creek, I didn’t think to. The OneSpot owner wasn’t very helpful. I told them what happened and they apologized and said they’d fix the issue. Lastly, the road to the sites is brutal and needs leveling. Again, the area is beautiful and the campsite has potential, but getting yelled at by a stranger as I’m trespassing onto their property was enough to make me never go back.

We had a nice big spot, nearest camper was at least 250 feet away, only downfall was asked to be by the water and the water/river was down a big drop. Other than that it was great

Beautiful property, we stayed in a tenting site with fire pit and picnic table near the river. Quiet,
friendly, firewood was available for sale, nice folks, great price. Only downside was the road was fairly bumpy and puddley which was a little tough for my car but if you have a truck or go slow I don't imagine it's an issue. Would stay again!

This reminded us of what camping used to be, out in the middle of a wildflower strewn meadow, with lots of privacy and room to breathe. Our nearest neighbors were at least 250 feet away!
Loved to see the horses come right across the road from where we camped- it was like they came to welcome us.
We can see it is a work in progress, so hope that next time we come, the roads will be a lot better (pretty treacherous bumps to manoeuvre, even without a trailer in tow). A little rough around the edges yet, but once you get to your site, it's great!
There were no hookups, totally natural, which we knew ahead of time, so that didn't bother us. Firepits, garbage, picnic table- the basics at each site- and porta potties fairly close if you need them. So if you want a quiet, private, relaxing place to stay, we'd recommend it! Friendly staff and good prices too!
It's also quite close to the town of Bragg Creek, so we had access to whatever we needed. And so many places within an hour or so to explore! We went to Kananaskis, Canmore & Banff.

Great location; we were able to get a spot right on the river with a great view. There were nice, clean portapotties a short walk away. They even will deliver firewood to your campsite. We would definitely camp here again.

Overall sketchy environment, says firewood is included but it costs 20$. Also in the tent only section there was about 6-7 big campers taking up all the half decent spots.

We loved it. It was so nice to experience a peaceful and memorable experience. Ginger and David and all the staff are so warm, welcoming and nice with good positive spirits. We were well taken care of. I would recommend this spot to anyone looking to create amazing camping memories. I will be coming back for sure. This peaceful getaway is just what we all needed to recenter ourselves from all the stress of the world.
