This is a great spot to land for a few days. Well set out with plenty of of room between fellow campers. Bush settings and open grass areas. Campfires. Good clean showers and toilet. Short drive out of town, worth it for the space. We would visit again.

Travellers Rest was an amazing place to stay. They have powered and unpowered sites. We choose unpowered and had a large grassy area close by lily pond, amazing bush boardwalk and clean amenities. Mike the owner was fabulous and had so much knowledge of the area.. would definitely recommend.
It was a last minute find and wow! What a lovely well kept place - the owners work so hard to keep it so clean and tidy ! They have built a beautiful boardwalk with information about the ecosystems and wildlife everywhere - there was even some wooden raised areas for yoga or meditation ! Saw some wild kangaroos and got woken up by a Kookaburra argument perfect stop over !

Absolutely loved this place! Welcoming hosts, nice spot (we parked as unpowered next to the pond), clean facilities and a great boardwalk through the beautiful forest surrounding the site. As it's not easy to find good spots around AW/1770, this one is perfect and ideally located. For the unpowered sites, they are relatively close to the road but that's not really an issue as this is not motorway traffic and you'll sleep well for sure.

Great to be camping with loads of room around you, unlike the local caravan parks. Tranquil bush setting and only a few km’s out of town

The facilities were clean and the showers were hot. The fire wood was good quality. The only issue is the road noise, maybe a like of trees would help reduce the noise.
Lovely little campsite with everything you need, showers nice and clean and brand new kitchen facilities. Only stayed the one night whilst travelling down the east coast and making a quick stop in Agnes Water. Not too far from the beach so a great base. Would definitely recommend.

Really loved the tranquility and wildlife this site has to offer. No reception which was nice, quite a few mosquitos but fine if you have some coils and repellent. Hot showers, very clean facilities, what more can you ask for really. Reasonably priced and close to Agnes town centre and a short drive to 1770. Would absolutely stay again and again.

Good facilities, clean showers & toilets. love the boardwalk, a great activity for kids to spot wildlife.
We had unpowered site right by the Lilly pond and it was great!! A few mozzies but not too bad, common in this area regardless. It’s quite near the main road, but not many cars at night time at all, but otherwise beautiful and quiet and peaceful.
Stayed 3 nights. Easy to get into town, and a great quiet place to retreat to after a busy day!!

Lovely camp site with beautifully thought out boardwalk with information areas. This place had something for everyone. The only suggestion I would have is that mass planting needs to happen on the front facing fence to muffle the main road noise so it truly has the effect they’re looking for. Everything else is there. Well done to the owners.

Beautiful campground near to Agnes Water. Connection to nature is key here, the hosts built an impressive boardwalk to walk into the forrest (pram friendly) with signage about animals and trees. Clean facilities and nice hosts.

Such a perfect place to stay out of the busy hustle n bustle. The paperbark forest was next level, it was my absolute favourite thing to do here. We took a bike & ride through the forest. So peaceful

Ripper spot, just out of down. Everything you need and plenty of space to setup and have a peaceful camp. Beautiful property with lots of fun trails and attractions! Would definitely stay here again. The kangaroos and kookaburras are the cherry on top! Hosts were lovely and had great knowledge of the local area.

Amazing camp spot great owners, great facilities lots of space
Myself and my partner stayed 2 nights for a weekend getaway and were beyond happy with the stay. Mike and his family were extremely welcoming and there were more secluded spots available for privacy. It was a quick drive into town and the area was quiet and peaceful with plenty of lovely wide-life. The toilets and showers were a massive bonus and clean and tidy at all times. Although we didn’t use them the hot plates, microwave and kettle could be very helpful. We will definitely be back Thankyou Mike, Michi and family 😁

We had a fabulous 5 nights at Travellers Rest 1770. Quiet, relaxing and plenty of room between camping spots. Amenities were very clean. Close to Agnus Waters to enjoy all the activities available. Definitely on our list of return Hipcamps.

We chose this site due to the positive 5 star ratings on various camping sites. We definitely weren't disappointed!! It was an awesome campground. Michaela and Mike and their three children were most welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed Marks evening talk about the local area and the creation of their little piece of paradise. We are so glad we stayed here because it was only 5 minutes from town and the caravan parks in town had people packed in like sardines! We will definitely be recommending 1770 Travellers Rest Eco Campground to our family and friends. Thank you Mike and Michaela 😊
