Deepdene Farmstay Camping

15 sites · Tents8 acres · Augusta, WA
Deepdene Farmstay is a beautiful rural property with a fabulous view! We have a number of unpowered camp sites located approximately 5 minutes drive from Augusta, which offers a number of tourist attractions and great fishing spots. We are also located a short 800m from Jewel Cave, which is a very popular tourist attraction and cafe. We are 6 km from the popular beach Hamlin Bay. Your campsites overlook paddocks of cows and horses, with a lovely breeze and a number of large trees to offer shade in the summer, while being protected from the harsh winds in winter. If you would like to camp out away from the hustle and bustle, in a tranquil and peaceful setting...then this is for you. However, if you like life's luxuries, then this won't be your cup of tea. One of the reviews said nice but a bit wild, I think they must be used to caravan parks or somethin. 3 x Compost Toilets & 2 x solar hot showers available. There is electricity in the camp kitchen for light use only (i.e phones, laptops, torches), but no heavy appliances (toasters, kettles, coffee machines, air friers etc). Dogs are permitted but this is a working farm with livestock so uncontrolled dogs chasing wildlife or stock will be dealt with as needed. Keep your dogs under control or please don't bring it !

Margaret River - Rosa Glen Farm

8 sites · RVs80 acres · Rosa Glen, WA
Hello, welcome to Rosa Glen Farm in Margaret River. Our farm is set on 80 acres divided by vineyard, open fields and native bushland. We are perfectly positioned to see our beautiful region and our wines.😁 Just over two years ago we stumbled upon this gorgeous property and turned it into a boutique, biodynamic winery and farm. Our vines however were already established and some of the first planted in the area in 1978. Since buying the farm we have introduced olives, a small citrus orchard and numerous fruit trees. The farm is a working farm and well.. a massive work in progress. Our passion is the land, the environment, making good wine, listening to music, eating good food and sharing all of this with our community. We are opening up our farm to share with like minded souls who share the same passions as us (our community). Over the years we have started to learn about the secret spots on our property. The ones which are secluded, capture beautiful pieces of light at certain times of the day, where the black cockatoos love to rest on the branches of the gum trees, the areas where weeping peppermints create a haven and the frequencies and syncronities of the frogs elevate at certain times of the year and times of the day are so loud that you cant hear yourself think. As a result we have a number of beautiful secluded spots on our property we would love to share. As we are small and have no facilities and we can only accept a small number who are fully self contained. (Please see NOTES below) Our region 'Margaret River' is famous for WINE but there are so many other things that make this place special. A wild but beautiful coastline uninhibited by people, karri forest, caves, mountain bike trails and a 120km coastal walk. We are also known for surfing and close by are a number of world famous breaks including Surfers Point which is located 20 minutes from the farm. Closer to the farm you can enjoy a short walk to a beautiful winery called SI Vintners, drive to The Berry Farm or the quirky town of Witchcliffe. At Witchcliffe you will find Darnell's General Store which has a beautiful giftshop (The Shed), cellar door (Amato Vino), coffee shop (Witchy Brews) and fantastic pub (Dear Darnells) and vintage stores which it has become reknown for. NOTES: We only accept self-contained caravans/motorhomes/vans/rooftop tents, so PLEASE DO NOT BOOK UNLESS YOU HAVE YOUR OWN CHEMICAL TOILET. NO EXCEPTIONS, YOU WILL BE TURNED AWAY. WE DO NOT ACCEPT GROUND TENTS OR SWAGS. DO NOT BOOK UNLESS YOU ARE IN A SELF CONTAINED VEHICLE IE CARAVAN, MOTORHOME, CAMPER-TRAILER, ROOF-TOP TENT ECT.

Rural peace close to the beach

1 site · RV35 acres · Vasse, WA
Enjoy the peace and privacy of your own slice of rural pasture on our tree-lined property, located a mere 1km from the town of Vasse, a short 5km walk, ride or drive to the beach, and 10km from the centre of Busselton. You will have plenty of space to bring your bikes, kites, surfboards and the like to make the most of what is on offer in our region, such as beautiful Abbey Beach, the Busselton foreshore, Ambergate Reserve, or the Wadandi Trail. Say ‘Hello’ to neighbouring cattle, visiting kangaroos, resident rabbits, and bird life. Take in the many changing colours of sunrise, sunset and rainbows as you look out across the paddock. Sit outside and be in awe of the wonders of the universe as you stargaze into our wide open Summer sky and cuddle up at a campfire during the Winter season. You can even help us regenerate the land by planting a tree. If you prefer to be on the move, our property is perfect as a hub for visiting many South West attractions in nearby Busselton, Dunsborough, Cowaramup, Margaret River, Nannup and more. With plenty of cafes, restaurants and produce stores at hand, you will easily be able to refuel for your next adventure or relax and indulge in some local wines and foods. Our home is off-grid, relying solely on solar power and rain water. Our property is therefore suitable for self-contained, off grid caravans and RVs, big and small. We thoroughly enjoy living here and feel very blessed to have the best of both worlds; rural splendour with beach convenience. We welcome you and wish you the very best of experiences in the place we get to call home. Sorry, no children, no pets, no smoking, no drinking. CAMPER REVIEW "We loved our stay with Jacqueline and Chris at their beautiful property. The property is beautiful and peaceful with country views and stunning sunsets over the paddocks. So close to Busselton, the beach, and all the town amenities. It really is a perfect place to base yourself while you explore the southwest and the Margaret River region. We will definitely be back for the peaceful surroundings and the great hospitality." BEN H
