We have 10 acres on the outskirts of Maffra in a little town called Boisdale, Victoria, with a beautiful big dam surrounded by gum trees and mountain horizons, with horses roaming the paddocks in a tranquil relaxing setting. Valencia 343 is a Barn style Shed that caters for group Camping option, which is fantastic for larger group camping holidays. Our beautiful big barn includes an inside wood fire, kitchen sink, toilet, shower, fridge, Bbq, couches, tables and chairs, an outside fire pit. There is plenty of space in the land surrounding the shed for caravans, tents, and everything in between. This area is bookable to one group at a time with a minimum of 10 adults, so it's all yours exclusively. 2-night minimum stay. Children under 2yrs stay free. No need to add them to your booking numbers, but please still let us know they are coming so we are aware. We are not far from the Blue Pools, a loved local waterhole, The Quarries near Briagolong - makes for a lovely day trip! we have some local wineries, Maffco Brewery Taphouse in maffra. The property is near to beautiful bushland, speckled with walking and horse riding tracks, and you'll enjoy amazing sunrises and sunsets from camp. So plenty to do! You will be on top of the world at Tiny Castle with an unobstructed view of The Strzelecki Ranges, tree plantations and rolling farm paddocks all from the deck of the tiny house. The wildlife is abundant day and night if you’re quiet and observant. You don't have to go anywhere to witness Wedge-tailed Eagles, Black Cockatoos, King Parrots, Rosellas and Kookaburra to name a few. Or wombats scurrying across the front lawn in the dead of night. Or wallabies that hang out in the front paddock. If you're a fit walker, you can hike up to the back of the property that borders an old pine plantation now full of regrowth where herds of deer call it home. At the right time of day, you're likely to see all kinds of water fowl in the damns around the property. And if you're lucky, our 3 alpaca will let you photograph them as they stare you down, but no cuddles for these guys -- they're there to keep the foxes away. Night time is magical. With no light pollution, it's a stargazers paradise and on a still evening you'll hear boobooks, possums and frogs. The popular tourist village of Yarragon is 16km down a winding unsealed road one way, while the larger town of Mirboo North is about the same distance going the other way. Mount Worth State Park is 13km from our property and Lyrebird Forest Walk Regional Park is 26km just outside Mirboo North. While there's a lot to do around these parts, my guess is you won't want to leave the property.

The Love shack is a quiet yet private for cabin for single camper or a family who wants to stay close to the nature yet with facilities like shower and toilet. Me and my two dogs enjoyed the stay and fell in love with the view from the cabin. It is also a best spot for stargazing. The cabin has portable water and electricity too also a plug box in the bedroom to connect the charger or other electronic devices. The pine tree views are great and it is a hidden gem close to local amenities. Try the Yarram bakery if you visit the love shack and also the Yarram wetlands to take your dogs for a scroll and to watch some ducks. We will be back again.🤙👏😃

We had a great weekend getaway a the love shack. A beautiful view of rolling Hills and ambient sounds of Kookaburras and cows in the distance left us feeling like we had a great little slice of paradise. We'll stocked kitchen, comfy couch and outdoor sitting were enjoyed. The woodfire kept everything nice and toasty overnight and the grassed and fenced area was enjoyable for running around. The Tarra Valley is a hidden gem, we definitely would like to visit again!

This place is fabulous, clean, and very well maintained. The environment is pleasant and relaxing, and I especially enjoyed the fireworks and BBQ night. The house is fully equipped with all the necessary kitchen appliances and amenities, making the stay very comfortable. The owner, Susan, is extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful. She went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful experience. This is one of the best places I have ever stayed. I truly enjoyed my time here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this tiny home. It was thoughtfully designed, very clean, and equipped with all the essential appliances. The property and its surroundings were lovely. Despite being a tiny home, it felt surprisingly spacious and comfortable for our group of three and our dog! We also appreciated the great collection of DVDs and board games. Susan was incredibly friendly, helpful, and accommodating throughout our visit, making us feel very welcome. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfy getaway!

We had a great time at the Love Shack! It’s really set up with everything you could possibly need. It’s super cute- and in a great spot too! Really nice that it’s dog friendly as well. The hosts were super friendly and we would highly recommend- and look forward to our next visit.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Love Shack. It's an ideal spot for camping, with all the amenities needed for a comfortable visit. We especially loved having both an outdoor fire pit and an indoor one. While strong winds and rain limited our outdoor activities, the convenient location, just a short drive to Yarram and close to Tarra-Bulga National Park, allowed us to enjoy a scenic rainforest walk and a picnic lunch. The area is stunning and provides plenty of opportunities for our kids to explore. The property does require some maintenance; for example, the bathroom door was jammed and wouldn't close properly, and the front door handle was loose. Nevertheless, our host Kate was warm, welcoming, and very responsive. All in all, we had a wonderful weekend at the Love Shack.

Weekend Trip to The Love Shack + Extras welcome

This is camping with a lot of extras. Water from the tap (even warm), electricity, shower, induction cooking plate, large BBQ, 2 fridges, etc. There were enough plates, cutlery, cups etc. for the 5 of us. Also other kitchen equipment is there, i.e. pots, pans, knifes, electric kettle and so on. We mostly cooked on the fire, though... The fenced area is large enough for several tents, caravans, with sufficient distance from the campfire and space for our dog to run and play. It is very private, but with great views over the valley. Lots of birds around, for example a flock of 10 yellow-tailed black cockatoos has visited the pine tree next to the campsite a few times in the few days we stayed there. We had a great time and would have loved to stay longer. We also enjoyed the Tarra Bulga National Park close by and Yarram provides all the gocery shopping needs for the stay. Also Port Albert is just aroubd 20 minutes drive, a small historic harbour town with a beautiful walk along the mangroves. We definitely would stay here again, if we are in the region.

2 nights at Galea Ranch

The glamping experience was superb! Hosts are lovely, welcoming and genuinely care about the property, animals, and guests. Almost everything was provided, towels/bedding/plates/cups/bowls/bbq tools/papertowel/shampoo/conditioner/toothbush/tea/coffee/bottle of wine/bug repellant/drinking water/fire wood. We made yummy breakfast using the freshly laid chook eggs! You will need you own saucepan for cooking but Webber, bbq plate, and kettle provided. Reception was patchy for us but we found a good spot. There is a heater in the tent but we didn't need it. No noise from traffic. Very peaceful. Lots of wildlife and well as very friendly farm animals. Peaches has a special place in our heart. No access to power so bring a power bank or two. Flushing toilet was perfect. We loved every bit of our stay and will be back. Thanks Sharelle, Wayne, Jemma and Peaches.
