Creature comforts
Enjoy the comforts of home—including flush toilets, showers, and a kitchen.
We are situated close to the township of Licola and the Macalister River. Our private campsite sits below the Cobbspur Range, offering magnificent views. A short walk north brings you into Licola and to the Macalister River, where you can buy an ice cream and enjoy fishing or swimming. We are dog- and horse-friendly. Bring your own tent or caravan, or check out our Ready-set-up tents or Retro van sites which can be prepared prior to your arrival. Bringing your own RV/Tent or using ours, your campsite facilities are the same and include an undercover BBQ area, fire pit, outdoor kitchen with hot running water, flushing toilet, and shower. Firewood is available for purchase.

Cobbview Retreat Campsite
Our stay at Cobbview was nothing short of fantastic. Mick’s campsite was so well set up, with easy instructions and in honestly one of the most beautiful spots we’ve been so far. For those who love camping and enjoy those ‘creature comforts’ like a shower and flushing toilet! It makes setting up and enjoying the beautiful views on every side, so much easier. The site was so well kept with great fencing (the dogs loved it!), bins, a firepit and tables with shelter and solar lighting! It just made setting up and packing incredibly easy. Mick was super welcoming, so easy to communicate with and gave us lots of great tips for the area! Cobbview was one of our favourites and we will definitely be back 🤠

Such a beautiful, peaceful spot for a family getaway. Mick was welcoming, the property was relaxing and the kids had a great time. We’ll definitely be back!
