We have 245 acres with an area of bushland and other lovely areas with scattered trees, plus some open areas. Currently we have a choice of camping areas for caravans and tents, some nestled in amongst the tree line. Other areas alongside the dam. We keep all the camping areas slashed for safety and to allow easier access to find a suitable camping spot. We also have a hut available in the bush area. This hut is secluded and has its own outdoor private toilet. There is no shower, electricity or fresh water available, however we do have a flush toilet at the camping and caravan site. Campers would need to be self-sufficient otherwise. Please note we don't allow motorbikes, Quads or firearms on the property and there are no exceptions, sorry. We run sheep on our property and have wildlife such as kangaroos, wombats and echidnas. We also have farm animals such as cows, horses, rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens, geese, and dogs. We have 8 dams, 3 of which have fish as well as yabbies throughout the year. Fire pits located in designated areas and only to used during non fire ban periods and to be supervised at all times. We're happy for you to bring your dog however you would be required to keep it under your control or on a leash and away from the sheep. No motor bikes, quads, firearms permitted and no exceptions. No diving off jetty Supervise children at all times. Water, dams, firepits, bushwalking and all areas can be dangerous. Caution, dams may be dangerous, and water is deep. Do not enter paddocks with cows and horses. Beware of snakes. Eudora Farm provides our guests with a unique opportunity to enjoy a multitude of activities, including but not limited to swimming ,fishing, boating, camping, camp fires, bush-walking and other farm related activities. Nestled right up against the escarpment at an elevation of 450m, this high-end, off-grid 40 acre property effectively offers your own private slice of Macquarie Pass National Park - amazing views, giant cedar trees, fern forests, cascading waterfalls and palms surround. It feels remote but it's only 90 min from Sydney, 30 min to Kiama and just 15 min to the shops. The property also offers the only hiking path up to the top of the escarpment for some truly amazing views. As of September 2025, many of the trails on the property have been degraded by the rains and are now challenging for 2WD cars. If you're towing or it's wet we recommend AWD or 4WD vehicles. Since this is coastal rainforest and it has been very wet, expect leeches anywhere it is damp. These are easily kept at bay with deet and or trousers tucked into socks. We're not particularly price sensitive - until all those rate rises - but we are extremely value sensitive so we set out to make your stay extremely good value for your hard earned money. The land itself does most of the heavy lifting but also personal service and of course there's Lana to fall in love with. Note, Mellows Rd is 2.6km long and rises 400m - in parts the road is a 15 degree grade. It's all paved but narrow so if you are towing a large heavy load, it's going to strain your car.

Weekend Trip to Rosewood Farm's Riverside Glamping

What an amazing spot! Our kids (8 and 4 yo) said this was their favorite camping trip to date - and we’ve done a lot! Highlights from them were: feeding the animals each day and the beautiful swimming holes we found on our bushwalks. Highlights from the adults: not having to pack a mountain of camping gear, rocking up to a set up campsite and access to a bathroom/kitchenette. Melissa was so hopeful and took extra time and care showing the boys how to feed the animals each day. We were all sad to leave but we promised the kids we’ll be back! Thanks for a wonderful, relaxing stay!

Weekend Trip to The Hideaway Oberon

Amazing place, felt like a proper North American log cabin. Lots of options for cooking including a full barbecue. The hot shower was pretty impressive for a homemade job. I'd echo what other reviewers have said about 4wd or AWD. We took my 2wd paddock basher in and made it but not recommended as we needed to walk about 200m with our stuff. Annabelle very upfront about it which we appreciated. We will be coming back, if you'll have us :)

Weekend Trip to The Hideaway Oberon

What a beautiful spot for an unplugged weekend - a big stand out for us was how clean the cabin, toilet and shower all were, it felt like a little piece of luxury. Love that the place is pet friendly - my old greyhound set up on the veranda of the cabin and seemed to have a lovely time enjoying watching the world pass by. I would recommend ensuring you have a 4WD for the driveway access. Thank you for having us Annabelle, we’d love to come back again and experience a cosy winter weekend here.

We loved our stay at Nos Astra for 2 nights. The views are amazing, seclusion at its finest. We had fun exploring the property and the stars at night were next level. The cabin itself could benefit from a little bit of love and you are at the mercy of the previous guests regarding the cleanliness of the of the cabin. Overall we loved it.

Awesome example of a Hipcamp and how they should be… so well kept with mowed grass Camps are spread out & there are flushing toilets at them all or close by We had the bush shack for the weekend with camping around it… was amazing with all of what you need to enjoy a weekend away We will def be back 👍

Weekend Trip to Rosewood Farm's Riverside Glamping

Our family had the most wonderful stay at The Rosewood. We travelled with two children aged 7 and 4, and it was absolutely perfect for a family getaway. The bell tent was very comfortable, with a double/queen bed for us and two single mattresses on the floor for the kids. There was a dining table inside the tent and a Weber BBQ outside, which we used for both breakfast and dinner — such a great setup. The private shower, toilet, fridge and kettle were located in the main house out the back, around a short walk from the tent (approximately 50 metres). It was private and well set up. One of our favourite experiences was the fireplace by the river, where we enjoyed making s’mores and marshmallows with the kids (we brought our own lighters and fire starters). The campsite is right beside the creek and offered plenty of opportunities for exploring. The terrain isn’t flat, so just something to be mindful of, but we did find a lovely section with running water very close to the camp that was perfect for the kids to play in. The absolute highlight of our stay was meeting the animals — the goats Bon Bon, Cutlet and Cookie, and the alpacas Humphrey and Marshall. We were lucky enough to help with feeding time, and the kids still talk about it as the best part of the trip. The host was incredibly welcoming and friendly. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to families.

4 nights at Rosewood Farm's Riverside Glamping

My wife, little kiddies (5y/o,3y/o) and I recently stayed at what can only be described as a peaceful, private retreat with lots of fun to be had. From feeding the delightful goats, Cookie, Cutlet and Bon Bon, and alpacas, Marshall and Humphrey, which if your kids are anything like mine, animal crazy! Then they will love the closeness from the spacious tent, a short walk or toddle to the fence to greet them each morning. Hosts were warm and welcoming, also took time for a chat while feeding the animals which again was a highlight for the kids. After feeding time a short walk down to the river for a cool dip was refreshing way to start the day. It felt like the river was right there in the backyard. Charming fire pit with logs for sitting. Hosts set out firewood for our convenience. Amenities were considered too, very much felt like a great balance of glamping while still being out below the stars at night. As soon as we left my daughter was asking, rather telling me we need to drive back to make the next feeding time.

The way Melissa and her family have allowed people to experience the beauty of where they live is very unique. The location is stunning; right on the Bargo River with amazing birds, dragonflies, lizards and their own beautiful alpaccas and goats. Seeing/being part of the animals daily feeding routine was so good to watch or be part of. The tent set up is perfect with chairs, a fire pit, cooking utensils, a weber bbq and many other items to make your stay very easy! Beds were super comfy. The family house is nearby and they allow use of the downstairs bathroom/laundry/fridge facilities... which is amazing! Definitely a place to be respected. Theres a short walk from car parking area to site, but once youre set up, this place is bliss. The township of Tahmoor is so close and you would never know it 💚💙

Weekend Trip to Nos Astra

Wonderful location with a stunning view. My friends and I loved it! Instructions were easy to follow and both the sofa bed and main bed were comfortable to sleep on. The kitchen was stocked with all the pots, pans, and utensils we needed. There were also many other small bits and pieces provided that made our stay extra comfortable (camping chairs, books, etc). The unsealed road may be a little tricky to navigate but we managed to get there in our Hyundai i30.

Weekend Trip to Glamping Around An Ancient Tree

We absolutely loved staying here, it was so quiet and peaceful, we saw so much wildlife (birds, kangaroos and wombats!) right outside the door. The dome itself is beautiful - a perfect step up from camping, we still felt like we were immersed in nature but had the luxuries of a comfy bed and a private bathroom. Would highly recommend!

Weekend Trip to Nos Astra

This is our second trip to Nos Astra it is perfect getaway for my birthday. I love being off grid and being able to “camp” in comfort and not need to bring everything. Clean comfortable tidy place. Has most things you need, John’s instructions were very detailed and helpful. We drive a Mazda 3 and take the dirt roads with caution but road is accessible. I love the view, the quietness and this year missed out on the star gazing thanks to the overcast clouds.

Weekend Trip to Silky Oaks Flower Farm

A very beautiful place with stunning nature. We really enjoyed the peaceful environment, it’s a great spot to disconnect, clear your mind, and properly relax. Everything we needed was provided and well organised. One of the port-a-loos was unfortunately out of order during our stay, so we had to walk a bit further to use the other toilet, which was a little inconvenient at night. However, this was a minor issue compared to the overall experience. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway.

Weekend Trip to Lyrebirds Nest

We really enjoyed our stay. The surrounding bushland was peaceful and beautiful. Friendly farm animals. The accommodation is simple but has everything you need, and the hosts are good communicators. House warmed up very quickly with the fire. Very nice sauna however the pond not accessible by the wharf as broken but you could get in from the side if you wanted. You can expect a few creepy crawlies given the setting. Thanks again!

We did the self guided tour of FIG Caves. Wow Wow Wow. We also did the Mares Forrest hike and brased the creek for a swim. Refreshing an beautiful gorge.

Great caves, must visit if you are in the area. We did a self-guided tour to the Fig tree cave this time, but plan to visit again to see other caves as well.
