If you like camping and staying in something unique Artisans Park is the place for you, If you want a luxurious five star stay we are defiantly not the place our stays are basic and clean. 1949 London Bus, WW2 Army Tower, 1885 Trig Hut Artisans Park is located 45 minutes from Bathurst and is the closest city for food and fuel. We do not have local shops or fuel stations. The London bus is suitable for children as the upper deck houses the bedroom. The lower deck houses the kitchen and bathroom with a front deck complete with barbecue and amazing views. Relax and watch the kangaroos and eagles from your private deck. Summer swimming in the crystal clear river and winter camp fires where you can toast marshmallows. The lower level has a cooktop "no oven or fridge share fridge at entrance of park", outside gas BBQ and tables. You will need to bring your own drinking water. There is a toilet and shower downstairs. The top deck has two small single beds and one double, quilts and pillows however BYO linen sheets and towels. This bus has featured on many TV shows and is often featured in travel magazines, including on Better Homes and Gardens television in 2013 and in many magazines shoots. No pets please. once again no pets including dogs.

The facilities of the camping are quite luxurious some guests labelling them "better than at home" so you can enjoy the bush experience & still have the comfort of a home. Here you can discover amazing wildlife such as kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, cockatoos, lyre birds and a lot of other birds (designated bird drinking stations through a WIRES program which has a lot of success.) Bring a camera and take in the incredible sights such as wildlife, cliffs, caves, and a magical view of Mount Yengo and Moruben from the top of the property. They are designated walking tracks around the property with all variable lengths & difficulties. Step out of the city and onto this working produce farm. Accommodation is rustic and basic as opposed to four star but the air is fresh and the stars are a work of art. Come and enjoy the tranquillity. As a way of introduction, some basic housekeeping information about our cabin …. Firstly this is a working farm, so accommodation is rustic and basic as opposed to four star. Our bathroom facilities are an outside shower and composting toilet about a 20m walk from the cabin but the bonus is we have just had instant hot water installed and the shower is steaming hot. There is a hand basin outside the cabin with cold running water for drinking and washing. We will always leave a torch in the cabin for your use, for those late night adventures! For your convenience there is a refrigerator, microwave, kettle, drinkware, cutlery and plates. Linen and towels are provided and the fridge will be stocked with milk and cold water. There is no hot and cold running water inside the cabin however as I mentioned the hand basin outside will provide cold water for hand washing, teeth cleaning etc. Animals roam free on the property and the cabin overlooks our dam where the ducks and geese take their families to swim. As I mentioned earlier, this is a working farm and business and we do have a dam in close proximity to the cabin; this is NOT fully fenced, so please be aware that is it your sole responsibility to supervise your children at all times – animals are also freely wandering the grounds in the way of chooks, alpacas, sheep, goats, geese and dogs (we have 8 rescue dogs of all shapes and sizes), so please be aware that free range is just that, again supervision will be required. Adequate footwear for children would be an advantage as the walking tracks can be rutted after bad weather and working farm means dirt and animal poop (just to add to the fun) so obviously safety is the best prevention. We'd love to show you our little part of the world and welcome you to our home. We welcome lots of interaction with the animals and there is a big open fire that you can sit around and toast marshmallows and chat or a smaller one outside the cabin to take in the fresh air and the canvas of stars. 2 nights at Wanderlust Retreat

Beautiful place. We would definitely go back again for some peace and quiet in the wilderness. Distance is not too bad as well given that it’s only 2.5 hours away from Sydney. Only thing I would want to have differently would be a quick touch up on the trail markers/ropes for the nearby trail. Some of the trees where the markers/ropes are placed have fallen. Nonetheless still an amazing place. 15/10 overall!

We didn’t end up getting to stay at the cabin as we couldn’t get into the drive way. Would definitely recommend taking a four wheel drive if you are going after rain. Annabelle was lovely and did everything she could to help but it just didn’t work out. So would definitely recommend Annabelle as she was friendly, kind and helpful.

The perfect hideaway!! We had a lovely weekend and saw so much wildlife. It was so nice to dip our feet in the stream on a warm sunny day. And the shower was luxury when it was chilly in the evening! The cabin was so cosy and comfy. Would definitely recommend, and hope to come back one day. Next time will have to bring binoculars to watch the birds. Thank you Annabelle and Drew.

1 night at The Nile Off Grid family farm

If Australia had a Yellowstone it'd be in Glen Alice. It was so nice waking up to rocky cliff faces in this beautiful valley. So comfy in the tiny home which have absolutely everything you'll need during your stay. Jacob was a great host, telling us all about the local spots and even offering to drive us up to the viewpoint nearby. We got a special morning welcome from the farm's head of cattle management, a little Kelpie called Rabit, and spent the morning checking out the swimming hole and coming back to a warm spa on the deck out the front of our cabin. Such a peaceful retreat, amazing views especially as the sun rises and sets and beautiful starry skies if you're lucky enough to get a clear night. Light a fire and hop in the fire-heated outdoor bath for an extra treat! We got the best mix of rest in nature and adventure.

We absolutely loved our weekend away to the cabin! It was extremely cold, but the fire pit and the indoor fireplace definitely helped. It’s a lovely location, beautiful night sky, and you feel completely isolated. We had a few issues with our car and the hosts were extremely helpful, Even coming to tow us out of trouble! Very friendly people and extremely helpful. I recommend this stay to anyone looking for a little escape, Just be prepared to collect a lot of firewood if you come during winter 😁

1 night at Wanderlust Retreat

We stayed in the cabin at Wanderlust and it was great. We were there in the middle of winter and it was very cold but the fire works well to keep the place toasty. The surrounding area is naturally very beautiful. Be aware that the destination is very remote and that the cabin is quite basic. The beds were comfy and warm but the electricity ran out quite quickly once it got dark (it’s solar and doesn’t get much sun in the winter). You will need to bring gear for heating things or cooking unless you want to walk to the shared space which is about a three minute walk. Bring head lamps or lights for when it gets dark. The toilet and shower block is clean and modern. The staff are also lovely!
