Please note that campfires are not permitted on Total Fire Ban days, so it's important to check conditions before lighting one.

Our property is approximately 150 acres, located in the Upper Hunter Valley between the Goulburn River National Park and the Wollemi National Park. In the shadow of Mt Dangar, our land sweeps down to the pristine Goulburn River, one of the main tributaries of the Hunter River.
The property was once part of a huge agricultural station, that was established not long after explorers started to open up the interior to development in colonial times.
We raise cattle and have an olive grove, which we planted in 2001 (our olive brand is Windybank Olives). In 2003 we established The Old Dairy accommodation, by renovating the crumbling 1940's dairy shed at the top of the property.

We had the loveliest weekend at Hedleys Hideaways for my birthday and honestly, I didn’t want to leave!
The place is absolutely beautiful. It’s peaceful, private and surrounded by the most gorgeous countryside. We spent the weekend relaxing, enjoying the sunshine, sitting by the dam and just taking in how beautiful the property is.
The little cottage has so much character and charm and was really cosy and comfortable. The whole place just has such a relaxed, homely feel to it.
The recommendations for things to do locally were also spot on. We visited a couple of the suggested wineries, checked out the local distillery and found a beautiful little café — all great choices and made exploring the area so easy.
It was exactly what I needed for a birthday getaway — no rushing around, just peace, quiet and quality time.
Thank you so much to Hedleys Hideaways for having us. We had such a great weekend and will definitely be back! ❤️

Weekend Trip to Halacal Farm
We stayed in the cabin and it was amazing. It is such an incredible location with great views and nice and secluded up the back of the property. Luke was a great host, he was very welcoming and friendly. We were also able to feed the highland cows which was such an incredible experience. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend a weekend.

This hut was a great spot for a couple to join in with a group camp for someone that’s not a fan of camping. The hut has cooking facilities, a very comfortable bed, an electric fire as well as air conditioning and a great ensuite out the back with an amazing shower that some 5 star hotels could learn from. Seats on the balcony received a lot of use as well as the shade during the day for the whole group camp to gather under. The only thing to further improve the hut experience would be a bbq out on the verandah but other than, what an amazing stay.

Absolutely incredible location. Everything about the tree house was made with comfort and pure relaxation. The kangaroos that visit you are so sweet and was the possum. Lizards and birds, just beautiful. Heather, you have made that Treehouse a home for any to come, right down to the cutlery and beautiful bedding. Loved it! The treehouse was so cosy and peaceful, it was beautiful to be surrounded by bushland and wildlife. The cabin was well equipped with what need and the bed was super comfy!
Make sure to take a long soak in the outdoor bath, this was my favourite part of the stay and so relaxing!

The cottage was a stunning place to spend the weekend even though it rained so we didn’t get to explore as much of the bush as we would have liked. Loved the maps which greeted us with so many surprising options to explore. We walked lyrebird and yowie tracks which were challenging but very rewarding. No lyrebird sightings this time round but definitely worth the climb up the side of the mountain. Had a lovely time chilling with the walleroos in the outdoor tub after that one!

Loved my stay at Coquun Cottage.
Even better than the photos, real touch of luxury with only cows and birds to be heard.
Whether on the deck or in the bath, I cannot fault the place. Stunning property.

My friends and I had a wonderful weekend at Callicoma Hill!!! The drive in past Lake Saint Clair was stunning, the property is easy to find, and it was lovely to meet our hosts. So much love for the environment has gone into this beautiful place, it is peaceful and welcoming. We enjoyed hiking nearby and lots of wildlife spotting. The cabin was warm and cosy, and we'd love to come back and also try the camping option next time! A huge thanks to Martin and Jan for a lovely stay.

Weekend Trip to The Old Dairy @ Baerami
We loved our stay at the old dairy! Being only a 3 hour drive from Sydney it’s the perfect weekend escape. The cabin is well fitted out, and we loved curling up by the fire watching the colours of the sunset on Mt Dangar. Definitely recommend!

I couldn't have had a better stay! The Old Dairy was absolutely beautiful and had the most charming, authentic feel whilst also providing you with everything you need while you are there.
The location was easy to get to and Sarah had perfect communication the entire time. Set in the countryside, you will have no problem relaxing; whether it's sitting outside under the trees, inside by the fire or in the luxurious clawfoot bath.
I was really impressed with how well stocked the kitchen was with cooking equipment and the bed was incredibly comfortable. You will have no problem getting a good nights sleep.
I'd recommend The Old Dairy to anyone and I cannot wait to return!

My friends and I came and stayed at Martin and Jan’s eco cabin and we had a great time! The views from the cabin and on the way to the cabin were really beautiful, our hosts were very friendly and helpful and I personally really enjoyed learning how to use the woodfire oven. One of us managed to get a frisbee stuck on the roof and Martin was very kind and understanding and helped get it down. I would really recommend the eco cabin and we are already planning on coming back!
