Lovely peaceful setting and friendly hosts. Flushing toilets were a bonus. Lots of space to spread out, though we were the only ones there on the night that we stayed. We enjoyed walking around the property and exploring. Hosts very kindly accommodated us last minute and did a clean of bathrooms although they were fine when we arrived. Also very nice to meet Michael's dog, Remy 😊

Nice and flat for our Hiace campervan. Fire pot was awesome. Michael's dog Remy came to camp and played with our little fluff puff. We went on a horse riding trail with Cradle County Adventures from the rodeo grounds which are only a 2 min walk down the road. There are toilets but no showers, water or power. Close to Westbury if supplies needed.

I loved the camp here, truly blissfully quiet. The view across the farmland to the country side made me inhale anddddd relax. I wish I had another day to walk about and absorb the tranquility. Were a couple of other vehicles there, I neither saw nor heard them. I'd recommend to anyone wanting some quiet nature time.

Beautiful bush setting, so relaxing and peaceful, plenty of space and opportunity for walks. Extremely convenient if you choose to also book the cradle country adventures horse ride.

Not at all recommended. Completely abandoned, with no lights or toilet paper in the bathrooms. The driveway is destroyed. It's like being in a horror movie. Don't go.

Harveydale was easy to find and a large space to park our Campervan. Really pleased that we were self-sufficient with our own cooker, shower and toilet.
The surrounding forest was full of birdlife which was an added surprise coupled with beautiful sunsets.

There were only two of us vans there, this was nice being Easter weekend and so many sites packed in like Sardines. So we set up a nice secluded spot and got lots of reading and relaxing in the rain done. Toilets were a nice break from our cassette one and it was easy enough to get there and book in.

We drove all the way to the Rifle Range at the end as there is no signage. When we did find it we could only see lots of horse floats and no designated camping area. The amenities are extremely dated and the camp kitchen is just basically a pile of junk. Honestly I wouldn't have stayed at $5 a night.

My partner and I loved staying at Harveydale. It's surrounded by nature and a nice quiet spot. We were able to make a fire and enjoy the stars in the evening too. Very peaceful and plenty of bird life. We will be back!

Well maintained and spacious camping spot. The area was mowed and we ended up parking under a tree well away from other campers. Toilet provided.

We spent 2 nights at HarveyDale and really enjoyed the location and the access to Launceston and surrounds. We did a day trip to Beaconsfield from the site and really enjoyed comming home to a good fire and the evening stars.

We have a Camper trailer and there was plenty of room for that plus our Gazebo and Ensuite tent. We were sheltered with the trees. It was very peaceful and relaxing. With a resident Ecihna, horses. Good central location. We stayed for 8 nights and Michael is friendly and would come at the end of his day and say hi.

Great spot. Super close to the cute little town of Westbury and Michael was super nice, Came and had a chat with us. Lovely night for a fire and watch the stars come out. Super peaceful.

We were 4 in a van and it was raining... But Harveydale had a good covered area for the kids to rattle around and we got a good fire going.

This was a beautiful spot to camp! Would definitely come again (maybe when it’s a bit warmer!) there was plenty of space to set up camp, and clean toilets. Micheal was a great host and made sure we were set up well. Had a lovely fire on a very cold evening.

Michael’s spot is absolutely gorgeous! So nice to be able to have a fire on a cold evening, and Michael was very welcoming and kind. As soon as we arrived we felt like we wanted to stay for longer, we would definitely camp here again.
