A studio room located in the backyard of the owner’s cottage residence which was established in 1938,. “The Printery” once operated as a printing factory and housed printing presses and machinery up to the 60's. The local newspaper “The Manly Daily” was printed on the property from 1940-41 The studio rental has a 4.8 star review on Airbnb. Quirky and unusual, Little Cat Oasis Garden Glamping studio offers something a little different to the usual local accomodation offerings. Stays are hosted in a one room garden studio which has a King size bed, 2 seater sofa, tv and tea/coffee making facilities. There is also use of an adjacent outdoor tropical private deck area.Stay on the site of a quirky historical ex printing workshop conversion from 1938. You have sole access to a King bedroom studio on the property with private entry via a shared access courtyard. The spacious rear yard studio contains a comfy king size bed, storage for clothes, tv, sofa, bar fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster. There is an outdoor fire pit, dining deck area and bbq, outdoor bathroom with open air outdoor shower, screened off toilet and sink for your sole use. The lounge area of the studio contains a couch and tv. The “kitchenette” area has a microwave, fridge, toaster, kettle, tea/coffee making facilities. Note there is a sink in the outdoor bathroom or laundry but not in the studio. There is a beautiful bushland dam area at the end of the street, Manly Dam, with walks and mountain bike riding trails. The property is close to Manly and public transport to Sydney CBD. The site is an old printing factory where the local newspaper The Manly Daily was printed in the early 1940’s. Nb. Guests must be cat friendly and open to sharing the space with our resident cat ‘house managers’ Ninja & Lunabelle. We also have a friendly dog Peaches. All rubbish must be removed and placed in bins on the driveway at the end of your stay. There is a blue bin for paper, Yellow for bottles and cans, red for general waste. It would be appreciated if you could put the bins out when staying on a Wednesday night for collection on Thursday morning, (only necessary if we are not in residence). Please leave the property clean and tidy as a cleaning fee is not charged to keep rates low, however this means that guests are expected to leave the property clean and tidy before they leave, with the space tidied up after each use and all dishes placed outside on the deck in the plastic lidded tub provided and towels placed in the laundry. A cleaner is employed to launder linens, vacuum, mop, dust and disinfect surfaces only. Please note that smoking or vaping are strictly prohibited anywhere on the property and that the property is not suitable for children or pets.
