Riverside Adventures
5 sites · RVs, Tents67 acres · Morrow, OHJoin us at Riverside Adventures for your next getaway. We are located in the heart of Warren County Ohio, also known as "Ohio's playground", on a 67 acre farm located on the Little Miami River. We have 6 camp sites total, with four of those with 1/2 mile river front access to the Little Miami River. Two sites are secluded hilltop locations with scenic river valley views. With two canoe liveries within two miles (Morgan's Canoe Rental and Little Miami Canoe), you can drop your canoe or kayak in upstream and hop off at your camp spot on the farm. You can hike on our property to get scenic views of the Little Miami River Valley or hike nearby at Halls Creek, the Fort Ancient Mounds, and others. We are just a 1/2 mile from the Little Miami Bike Trail and close to Caesar's Creek, Cowan Lake, YMCA's Camp Kearn, and Camp Joy. We're also just a 15-minute drive from King's Island and only an hour or less drive from Cincinnati, Dayton and Columbus. You can stay in one of our four riverside camping spots and enjoy quick river access, fire pits, and gathering areas or camp up on our wooded hill for a more secluded experience (4 wheel drive needed). We can rent you tents or an 11-person tipi, with an outhouse and portolets onsite.

The Viking Longhall
10 sites · Lodging, Tents5 acres · Peebles, OHThe Viking longhall has been 9 years in the making by a group of semi serious Viking enthusiasts: the result is a 60 foot long building that has 18, 8,x4' sleeping berths. Set apart from the main open area it also boasts 2 meeting rooms and a kitchen. The campsite is a very peaceful place. Some go as far as to say a healing place! We are proud of what we have achieved and now want people to come out and enjoy it also. The field is close enough to the Appalachian highway (state route 32) for convenience, but far enough not to be bothered by it. The area is steeped in Native American culture. In fact, the world famous Serpent Mound is but 8 miles away, with many other Adena culture sites within easy driving distance. It's also in the heart of the Amish community. The area is known for its natural beauty with many hiking trails and canoeing opportunities. The area is awash in beauty and history from the ancient mound culture to the amish culture. The area has many hiking trails some of which are part of the buckeye trail and range in length from an easy 1 mile loop to rugged hikes of many miles.Come out and share the land that we have loved for the last 30 years

Heritage Farm Stay Adventure

Heritage Farm is a working alpaca farm with over 50 alpacas you can watch and interact with. Also residing on the farm are a flock of chickens, several goats and a horse. If you want to, you can help with the daily chores of feeding the animals and collecting eggs. After that, you can explore the big red barn that was selected as one of the top-ten Bicentennial barns in the state. Roam around the 120 acre homestead, woods and creek and soak in the sights, sounds and smells of the farm. Be sure to visit our farm store before you leave where you can shop for alpaca products such as sweaters, hats, mittens and scarves. Pick up some honey made from bees on our farm or some farm fresh eggs from our flock of pastured chickens!Heritage Farm has several options for overnight lodging. One of the most popular places to stay is in our authentic 1850's log cabin. And it's certainly special to us as well. The cabin represents a valued part of our heritage. It reminds us every day of our agricultural roots, solid values and the importance of faith and family. Our PhilosophyYou want to have a wonderful stay at Heritage Farm and we want that for you too. This is your retreat for however long you are staying and we hope you'll be relaxed, comfortable and happy. Our FaithOur Christian faith is important to us. We have been so richly blessed with this farm and sharing it with others is what God has called us to do. We strive to show God's love to our guests by exceeding their needs and expectations and by inviting them to enjoy his beautiful creation.  We abide by what it says in the Bible in 1 Peter 4:9-10 "Cheerfully share your home with those who need a place to stay. God has given each of us a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another."Valuing Our Past, Building for the FutureOur mission at Heritage Farm is to apply that same pioneer spirit and value system to our alpaca business and Farm Stay enterprise. We are dedicated to working hard to provide the best of care to our herd and our overnight guests. I imagine the original occupants of the cabin would have done nothing less.Visit us on Facebook: facebook.com/heritagefarmstays
