Tiny Cabin in the Mountains
1 site · Lodging2 acres · Garden Valley, IDUp here in the Mountains of Garden Valley brings so much peace and relaxation and is truly magical. When we started looking for land up here we looked at 40 properties. I walked on this one and looked at my husband and said this is it!! To top it off it wasn't for sale. I wrote a letter to the land owner and after several meetings we bought this 2 acre property on a hand shake. We are in love with it along with all the wildlife, the creek and the Middlefork River is pretty amazing! We just feel the need to share it.

Laughing Horse Ranch - NO TENTS
4 sites · Lodging, RVs10 acres · Meridian, IDLaughing Horse has provided accommodations for travelers with horses for years now! We recently decided to open our small ranch to campers without horses so you too can enjoy the beautiful setting and wake up in the morning surrounded by these amazing creatures! We have level RV pads and a private hideaway apartment for rent on site. We offer water and electricity hook ups for the RV's. The apartment has 2 queen beds, private entry and bathroom and kitchenette. The cost is $120 per night. *** We DO NOT ACCEPT TENT CAMPING*** There are many reasons why not, but all I can say is if you show up with a tent, I will ask you to leave! I seem to have a hard time making the tenters happy with our accommodations! We offer more formal horse interaction with advance notice. If you are interested in a riding lesson or other horse activities, just message us before your visit for price and availability. Our farm has many uses. We board horses for individuals offering pasture turn out and stalls with covers. Our team is busy keeping the horses happy cleaning stalls, feeding, cleaning water troughs and cleaning the grounds of loose hay. We are busy all day and you will see a real horse farm doing what we do everyday! We share the property with my husband's painting company so you may see some normal paint company activities and some painting vans and equipment in the working yard. We also have a couple of trainers on site and they are happy to arrange a lesson or supervised activity for you to interact safely with the horses. Just let us know in advance what you might like to do. Based on availability and weather, we may be able to arrange quite a bit of horse time for you! If you have a way to get around, there some great attractions nearby including a 4 season adventure mountain - Bogus Basin, rivers, desert or mountain hiking, mountain biking in the foothills, birds of prey nature center, water parks featuring river surfing, world class fishing and white water rafting. If you are looking for a day trip, Idaho City has hot springs and some fun history museums. Our little farm has a walking trail nearby and some beautiful sunsets and sunrises. We have a designated area for campfires to complete the camping experience. Feel free to message me if you have any questions! Thanks and Happy Trails! Risa

Rustic Pines Weddings & Events
11 sites · RVs, Tents12 acres · ORStreamside and secluded, Rustic Pines is a 10-acre blend of creek-side aspen, pine, and open meadow. Visitors come here to relax within our secluded eco-setting. Rustic Pines is exclusive to private parties. Outdoor weddings, reunions, private parties & RV/ camp groups have found our space ideal. We host groups both large and small. Our goal is to provide a special experience in a unique venue; set aside for you and your people. Tucked in the foothills of Northeast Oregon’s Wallowa Mountains, we're 20 miles from I-84, and nearly a mile from sight and sound of rural highway 203 (Grand Tour Scenic Byway). Less than a 10 miles from the Eagle Cap Wilderness Area (Oregon's largest wilderness area). * Important to Note - Our 2023 season begins the last weekend of June (some years the neighboring Eagle Caps share their storms into June). - As such, we are not a general admission site. - We're an off-grid destination. - As such, no hookups are provided - We do provide bathrooms :) - Generators may be rented (our main building is wired for lighting, music, etc.) Though secluded, the 3/4 mile private lane leading to our grounds is easily drive-able (provided you slow down for a few shallow potholes). In addition to natural space, a 30'x60' open-sided pavilion is wired for generator power. We've hosted self-contained RV groups, campers, reunions, and musical performances. Our aspen grove chapel has been the site of outdoor weddings. Once again, we host private groups, exclusively. And once your party checks in, the gate is closed to anyone else. We enjoy providing a special experience for you and your people. At Rustic Pines, you’ll never park next to a stranger. A conversation between a group representative/ lead member is highly beneficial. We're glad to provide more detail and answer questions by phone.

Northern Star Pallette Ranch
6 sites · TentsORBuilt in the 1940's by the late actor Eugene Pallette as a hideaway from Hollywood and a Refuge from looming world disaster after World War 2. There once was a cannery, a power plant a sawmill and a 5,000 sq' concrete warehouse built to withstand anything and house years of provisions. Many buildings are still standing and utilized.  The past guest list included Cark Gable (Gone with The Wind) Amelia Earhart and her navigator Fred Noonan and Errol Flynn and many more. Located on the shores of the Imnaha river we have 2 miles of accessible, private spots. There is a lot of wildlife here and there is no better place to "unwind" and regroup. Pitch your tent in total privacy along the shores of the River and then kick back and take in all the sights and sounds of Nature. Surrounded by canyons on all sides tucked away in a private Valley is 300+ acres of room to roam along the river.   We have firewood and frozen bottles of water for coolers available for an extra charge And have added 3 outhouses. Potable water, picnic tables, and outhouses on site. Pets are welcome. Camp fires are permitted outside of a fire ban. Our guests love staying here: "Camping at the ranch was pure enjoyment. We did not see or hear anything but the rushing river and the surrounding woods. The stars at night we’re amazing and there was plenty to explore on the property and nearby."

Glamp at the Evans Farm
2 sites · Lodging, Tents30 acres · Joseph, ORThe Evans Farm is a Century Farm which has been in our family for three generations (with the fourth generation children enjoying it now).  It was a self sufficient family farm for many years with Jersey Dairy cattle, Suffolk Sheep, pigs, quality horses, both Draft and Riding, and a flock of chickens.  A large garden supplied family vegetables.  A love for the land and the area were all part of the Farm. Located two miles from Joseph, three miles from Wallowa Lake, and close to hiking, fishing, camping, and outdoor adventures, the Farm is secluded but offers easy access to the surrounding area.
