Freedom Equestrian Center is a quiet setting on a dead end road that doubles as a Breeding and Training Facility for horses and has a small herd of cattle. Guests are welcome to visit all the facility has to offer or enjoy a quiet alone evening. Multiple RV hookups available inside the equine trailer area for fun stays at FEC. Guests are also provided the option to schedule a horse riding lesson that can range from beginner english riding to advanced Event riding. Lessons are available around the facilities training schedule.

We have private hot showers and restroom accommodations in our sixteen stall barn. Horse boarding available for an additional fee. Plenty of room to spread out and relax, play with the family, enjoy the farm critters, and watch some beautiful sunrises and sunsets. In the spring fishing is available. Just minutes away from Cleburne state park. Bring the doggies, kiddos, horses and make yourself at home. There is NO running water, or restrooms, you are responsible for bringing your own restroom and taking waste with you, along with your own trash. If you bring your pets, waste must be cleaned up as well. ABSOLUTELY NO DUMPING OF TRASH OR WASTE. The farm has animals onsite, we ask that you do not open the barns onsite or the gates to our farm family. Feel free to look and pet. Please do not feed the animals as they are on special diets.

We are a dry family-friendly community. In the spring, flowers blanket our fields. The tent sites are in the trees on a small creek that serves as the border for our property. The r.v. site is not as private, but has an electric hookup. Fire pits and firewood are provided at all sites. We are in the path for the 2024 April 8 Solar Eclipse. Any bookings on the night of April 7 will include a complimentary Texas BBQ meal for all of our guests. We will also have stargazing and other activities on the Eclipse weekend. We have a small bathroom near the r.v. site and a couple minute walk from the campsites.

There isn't electric, sewer or water at the sites, however, water is available near the house to refill tanks etc. The owner does live on site, but will respect your privacy and you can be out of the direct sight of the house depending where you camp.
