Located at the end of the road. There is over 20 acres. Some cleared and some still in original woods. Trees, grass and deer everywhere. There is over a quarter mile of Brazos riverfront property although you cannot get to the river on all of it due to it being in its natural state. There is a beach at the main camp that provides easy in and out of the water. the water depth varies with the rainfall but is usually between 2-4 feet deep.

Good time on the Brazos
Great amenities and a ton of activities for the kids. Easy river access and clean sites. The owners are very nice and even drove around to pick up trash! They even showed our girls how to feed the deer that are plentiful through the campsite! We had a great time!

The Dollhouse
Peaceful and relaxing times
I stayed at the Dollhouse. Amy's land is beautiful. It took a few hours to grow on me, but once it did, it was one of the most peaceful things I did in recent times. The river was warm and just the right amount for safe kayaking and lazy tubing. It's the perfect option for some nice reading retreat or to just slow down your life. The dollhouse was clean and had all amenities we needed. There may be few insects around, it is in the woods after all. Amy was super friendly and hospitable. Please don't expect this house to be a luxury stay centered around comfort- it is a lodge in a river campsite. The first floor has a pretty low ceiling, so if you're 6ft tall and above, it does become very difficult. You can use the upper floor, however. Life around the river is slow, peaceful and mindful. Expect to enjoy a lot of that! I would highly recommend this as a frequent weekend getaway from Dallas.

Good times at Gypsy moon
Amy was just as good as they come. She was running around camp helping people at all hours. Her place is awesome, right on the river. Bait shop on property, farm fresh eggs and plenty of activities for the kiddos. We had pretty good luck fly fishing on the rock directly across from her place as well. We will be back!

Amy was extremely friendly and made us feel like we were at home. She even offered for us to use her extension chord, as we were ill prepared, while we tented out for the night. Definitely recommend this place!

So beautiful!!
Oh my goodness my daughter and I had the best weekend in the Gypsy Hideaway! We loved the chickens, deer and the foster pup Daisy! Amy was so nice and helped me get right into my spot. She also has the best eggs for sale! Her property is shaded and very peaceful! The Brazos river is stunning and Granbury was a fun day trip for shopping, food and coffee! We loved it and will FOR SURE be back. Thank you so much!!!
