Lovely farm escape for the weekend. Paul was great and sent us everything we needed to know beforehand for getting there and making the most of our stay. He came by to say hi and was very welcoming when we arrived. Our campsite was nice and secluded by the trees with views of the alpacas in the field next door. The emus came by to visit a few times and we enjoyed a walk around the campsite in the morning between all the beautiful trees

Bedok was a beautiful spot to camp. Easy to find, very peaceful stay - Bedok is within the forest area of the property but clear sky above to check out some stars at night (and count the streams of satellites). Very handy to a range of nearby attractions and sites.

Amazing spot located nestled in the hills above North Dandalup. Quiet spot at the Sembawang site. No neighbours apart from the local wildlife. Great spot to chill and unwind. Located a short drive from Mandurah it’s an easy quick weekend getaway. Depending on what you are planning on towing you will need a decent 4wd as the track down is loose gravel in spots as well as a water run of track that cuts through and across the track in a few spots. Need some clearance on your van/trailer too! We have been back a few times now as it’s such a great spot!

Weekend Trip to Herron Point Farm Stay

We had a great night stay at Emu’s Run (Camp 4). Huge site, lots of shade in the afternoon, animals water trough was right next to the site which meant we had lots of visits from all the animals. Paul introduced himself to all the campers in the evening which was nice to get the chance to have a chat with him and learn more about the farm and his animals. You couldn’t go wrong with booking any of the sites here as they are all well spaced apart. Our toddler in particular loved getting to see the free roaming farm animals up close and personal, something that you don’t typically get to experience in other camps and having so much area to run around and burn off some energy with lots to explore. Paul has done a fantastic job at setting up the sites, offering lots of fire wood for guests to collect when fire season is open, we will definitely be back then for another visit.

We had a fantastic time at Herron Point Farm Stay. It was easily accessible, clean and with plenty of space away from other campers. Paul was extremely accomodating and friendly. It was great to see the animals roaming around the property too. We would absolutely recommend staying here, and hope to stay again ourselves!

Weekend Trip to Echidna Springs Horticulture

My Husband and I took our dog to stay at Ed's place for an overnight stay. It was so quiet, the only noise was from birds and the wind rustling in the trees! Ed maintains the property very well, everything is neat and in order. Ed even cooked our sausages for us on the BBQ! The cabin is very nice, it would suit 4 people no problem. Be aware there are no amenities in the cabin, the kitchen and bathroom is in the main residence.

Super peaceful campsite. All campsites seem to have enough room between each other that you don't notice anyone is even there. The guide into the property is detailed and simple. Would recommend to anyone. Will be staying again in the future for sure.

We are a hobby farm set on 100-acres on the North Dandalup scarp, with a few sheep. You will find kangaroos, echidnas, sometimes emus visiting our property. You can enjoy the great views into the horizon towards the Indian Ocean amidst the tall jarrah and gum trees. Campsites are set in the woodlands, some with views. It’s perfect for people seeking 'quiet' time away, but still near to amenities in the towns around here. You can take walks to experience forest therapy, have a campfire or canoe in the dams during wintertime. There is no power, water or toilet facilities so campers must be completely self-contained. You are expected to clear up and take all rubbish with you. Leave no trace. The terrain is rather hilly, hence a few sites are accessible only by 4WD (Sembawang and Changi). There are some sites that are still accessible with regular cars (Opera 1, 2 or 3; Tampines, Bedok). RVs and small caravans are welcomed. All vehicles have to stay on the paths, and not to make any tracks. The gravel road leading to our property is shared with neighbours who run horses. As such, please drive really slowly here so as not to cause the horses to bolt. During the summer fire season, fires are strictly prohibited! Dogs welcome (on leash).

5 beautiful acres in the Swan Valley with horses, we run a horse rehoming charity from here where all proceeds from hipcamp go to support our facility. Along with plenty of horses, you'll also see kangaroos at certain times and our pet sheep Jamima who thinks she's a horse! A superb property with a winter creek and an open paddock where the horses live. It's very peaceful. There are only two camping sites available on this wonderful property at any time so privacy is assured. There is also a dam on the property so please mind any children with absent swimming abilities. Campfires are allowed during the season, and there is a toilet and shower available in the shed 100 meters from the camping area. Smaller groups booking the campsites will have full access to the toilet and shower. Please note, however, we offer a group camping option for larger groups but those booking this option must be fully self-contained as our facilities are not enough to support a large group. We have a strict Leave No Trace policy here, we kindly ask that you take all rubbish with you when you leave. We also ask that you please do not feed the horses. The property is well located to access many great wineries and cafes in the famous Swan Valley area, some within walking distance. Security here is taken care of by Mr security guard "aka" Smoky our pet dog. He's very safe and timid. If you get a pat from this boy I know you're good, so beware! We are dog friendly here, so you're welcome to bring mans best friend and we also have a secure yard to house any pets if you need a break, so long as they don't hassle the horses. We may also be able to accommodate your horse - please discuss this with us prior to booking. We look forward to welcoming you to Everything Horses ltd where you can enjoy one of the last pockets of peace left in the Swan Valley area. Herron Point Farm Stay

Located 5 minutes from the Forrest Highway and less than 10 minutes' drive to the beautiful and popular Herron Point. The farm offers the country lifestyle without travelling for hours. With 54 acres of native bush and pasture, a beautiful dam with an island combined with an abundance of natural wildlife. Come and enjoy the delights. The campsites are private with a fire pit provided and you are welcome to collect wood from around the property. Fires are prohibited between 1st Dec and 31st March inclusive. While the main entrance is on Old Bunbury Road, most campsites are accessed from Dutchman Road. We have invested monies earnt back into the sites by way of limestone all weather tracks, fire pits and irrigation for the warmer months which also helps to mitigate the risk and impact of bushfires. The Northern half of the property is a combination of pasture and native trees, while the Southern half is native bush. Guests are welcome to roam the entire property with the exception of the owner's residence and sheds.

Beautiful valley views only 3 minutes drive from the heart of Dwellingup, set out on 24 acres with shaded areas , open areas, and the full bush surrounding area to choose from. With nearby watering holes and the Murray river only a short drive away this farm stay is one of a kind as it backs onto state Forrest where the Mundi biddi trail runs past. This farm is for the caravaners only no tents or swags, small pets allowed but must be kept close and not roaming free. There are 3 dams close to where you’ll be camping and are not fenced off, so if you’re bringing the kids please be aware of this. There is a strict - no driving around the property rule as there are other occupants on the property aswell as dry grass. And please by all means if you want to take a walk through the bush then that is absolutely allowed and encouraged, but please do so by using the fire break along the fence line for accessing the state forest and taking that Mundi biddi trail experience. If the bush walk isn’t for you then laying back watching the kangaroos admiring the beautiful valley views and taking all the serenity of the Forrest in is another option. These sites require full self contained vans with dumping points available in town. Power and wifi is also available. There is bore water available at the camp site and although it’s clean and we use the same water- it is unfiltered. There is also a small fire pit available but only for the cooler months. Contact the host prior to your stay if you wish to use power and wifi. We hope you enjoy your experience and return safely.

Freedom Farmstay - simple, back to nature camping for FULLY self-contained travellers. CHILDREN are always FREE... We consider children to be 17 and under, if booking with teens, please list them in the 'children' section of the booking form. Quiet location on acreage in rural Baldivis (within the Perth metro area). We love our little tranquil piece of paradise... our little freedom farm, with it's beautiful natural spaces and menagerie of animals, yet close to lots of local amenities in Baldivis / Rockingham. We're just a 15min drive to the beach and 30mins to Perth city or Mandurah. We can only accommodate a small number of campers, or groups of campers, at any given time.. so you have space, solitude and security for your family/group. You MUST be fully self contained WITH your OWN TOILET. There is NO power available. Clear bore water for small tank fills can be arranged during your stay. NOTE: we do NOT have mains water and constant tap access is not available. Water refills need to be requested and you may need to wait up to a day. Sites are in open paddocks with some limited shade available. Dogs are allowed ONLY if kept on lead at all times. Sites 1 & 2: Suitable for small/med vans, motorhomes, camper trailers and MINI-buses. Could fit 3 families if you're with a group. Private site for your family/group only. Site 3 (Families WITH children): Large area that can take all size vehicles including big rigs and full size buses. Could easily accommodate a dozen or so families if you have a big group. This is a share site, so you may be sharing with other families (max 12 vans across 9 spots). If you wish to book for a large group, book as early as possible. Huge access gap into paddock, approx 15mtrs wide. NOTE: If you are NOT travelling WITH CHILDREN please do NOT book this area!! Site 4: For any sized vehicles. Suitable for up to 6 vans if camping with a group. This is a share site, so you may be sharing with others (max 6 vans across 4 spots) If you wish to book for a group, book as early as possible. Access gap approx 10mtrs wide. Campfires are allowed during October but only in contained fire pits. Same day bookings are available. Important NOTE: This is a WORKING hobby farm. There are tyres and poles, sand piles, fencing projects underway, etc etc. There are also many free roaming animals - our friendly farm dog, the chooks, sheep and alpaca.. along with, occasionally, the usually contained horses who sometimes figure out a way to sneak out for a wander! If you are looking for manicured, super flat areas or have a fear of animals - this is NOT the place for you. There are also a HUGE number of factors that can affect your stay that I have ZERO control over... The seasons change a lot of things throughout the course of the year: we have snakes (like ALL Aussie bush places) for most of the year; an assortment of insects, according to their seasons; varying growth stages of grasses - long, short, brown, green and sometimes grass seeds/prickles.. along with some crazy weather on occasion (high winds, high temps, storms) - NONE of which I have any control over.. so if you are a moaning myrtle and any of those things are likely to bother you, please don't come to our property... oh, and roosters - we have them too! If you accept that you are staying on a working hobby farm and that I have no control over nature - then welcome, there is much beauty here for those who have the eyes to see - and as a base to explore the Perth area, we have a pretty convenient spot :)
