5 beautiful acres in the Swan Valley with horses, we run a horse rehoming charity from here where all proceeds from hipcamp go to support our facility. Along with plenty of horses, you'll also see kangaroos at certain times and our pet sheep Jamima who thinks she's a horse! A superb property with a winter creek and an open paddock where the horses live. It's very peaceful. There are only two camping sites available on this wonderful property at any time so privacy is assured. There is also a dam on the property so please mind any children with absent swimming abilities. Campfires are allowed during the season, and there is a toilet and shower available in the shed 100 meters from the camping area. Smaller groups booking the campsites will have full access to the toilet and shower. Please note, however, we offer a group camping option for larger groups but those booking this option must be fully self-contained as our facilities are not enough to support a large group. We have a strict Leave No Trace policy here, we kindly ask that you take all rubbish with you when you leave. We also ask that you please do not feed the horses. The property is well located to access many great wineries and cafes in the famous Swan Valley area, some within walking distance. Security here is taken care of by Mr security guard "aka" Smoky our pet dog. He's very safe and timid. If you get a pat from this boy I know you're good, so beware! We are dog friendly here, so you're welcome to bring mans best friend and we also have a secure yard to house any pets if you need a break, so long as they don't hassle the horses. It is recommended that only 4 Wheel drives for access and a high clearance caravan/trailer. We have 5 campsites at the moment, site A is the smaller of them, on the left beside the creek, and Site 1 next then site 2, sites 3 and 4 are paddock side on the right. There are unfortunately a few ants nests around so please be aware and pitch up anywhere around the site thats best, even on the paddock side if suits... thanks, Sarah PS the cows can be naughty and like to chew cords so keep the gate shut to resist temptation! Alternatively prepare a grazing board to enjoy some wine from the many gorgeous areas around the property... It’s all set for rustic charm, pure relaxation and tranquility. You will love our collection of old cars, trucks and vintage farm machinery. There are two gorgeous gypsy wagons so you could enjoy them with another couple, friends or family. Toowoo Farm is located 5 minutes out of the historic Toodyay town. Sprawling 140 acres over rolling hills with running creeks. Only 1.5 hours out of Perth, its the perfect spot for a weekend getaway or an overnight stop prior to continuing your journey onwards. The camping is situated in the front paddock of the property which is easily accessible by all vehicles, caravans and trailers. Please keep in mind the following, There are animals on site. Pets allowed but must be on lead. You must be self-sufficient, bring your own toilet and water, leave no trace when you go. Fires permitted in winter months only. Plenty of firewood can be found on the property.

We had a flying visit to this great spot so only for one evening. The site was fantastic, with fire pit, stools, table and chairs. However could not do a review without commenting on Donna and Micheal’s hospitality. These guys simply could not do enough for us. If you get a chance to stop here you should. Will be back for sure.

We had a really relaxing stay. It was a delight to see so many kangaroos close up in the paddock and have so much space to ourselves. The entrance gate might be a challenge for rigs bigger than our 21ft, but once you’re in the paddock it is a delight.

Lots of space for my daughter to ride around the paddock, took a lovely bike ride to town, and on a recommendation from Donna found the raw larder which was a little gem. What a lovely place to stay with such hospitable hosts. It's so serene and quiet yet close to town to grab things then you need. Donna gave us some great local recommendations and Millie the Kelpie was friendly and loved a belly rub. We would stay again if in the area. The site was pretty flat. Enough sun for solar recovery and they even laid a fire and wood out for us. Thank you guys. We fit our 21.6ft van in no problems.

We really enjoyed our overnight stay at Tracey’s campsite. We chose Site 2, but our tent ended up being a bit too large for the flat area. After walking around the property, I’d recommend booking the City Lights or Sunset Scene sites—they looked better suited for larger setups and had great views. We had a lovely time spotting black cockatoos and listening to kookaburras, which added to the peaceful bush vibe. Unfortunately, it was too cloudy for stargazing during our stay. There was some noise from hooning and passing trains throughout the night, but that might have just been bad timing. Overall, it was a beautiful spot and a unique experience. We’d definitely consider coming back and trying a different site next time. Thank you very much for the hospitality Tracey!
