Murray Valley Camping features campsites that are completely open in nature. Each site is close to the Murray River and is surrounded by nature, so you truly feel far away from the rest of the world. The property is close to the famous Bibbulmun track, with Harvey and Boddington equal distances away, so options to explore the region easily. Campers can go for walks along the river, relax, and enjoy the sounds of nature. Throw your kayak in for a paddle. Throw a line in and try your luck at fishing. As the day slips away, catch a beautiful sunset, as you toast marshmallows by the campfire (outside of fire restriction times). There are no toilets or amenities, so all campers need to be fully self-contained in that respect, with their own camp toilet and water, and we ask you to take all waste when you go. There’s also little to no cell reception at the sites. There is background noise from the nearby conveyer belt that goes on and off randomly. Some people take it as soothing white noise while others think it’s overbearing. Pet-friendly, so you're welcome to bring your four-legged friend along. Unplug from everyday life, escape and reconnect with friends and family in nature.

We have five sites available for self-contained campers. We do not offer any facilities. Self-contained campers/vans only, you MUST bring everything with you including a toilet. Stay here and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of your surroundings over a glass of wine from one of the local wineries or head out and explore the beautiful Geographe Wine Region. Redgum Hill Nestled in amongst the red gums on an elevated position near the edge of the property, you will be camping next to the old hay shed. The birdlife here is amazing, with red tailed cockatoos and honeyeaters amongst others frequently visiting. Please take care whilst exploring around this area, there are some deep rabbit warrens around the hay shed, which can be hidden in the grass in winter. Valley Vista Valley Vista is a private and secluded haven, on an elevated spot backed onto state forest looking down over the valley, with arguably the best views of the farm. Creek Junction Creek Junction is a peaceful area by the creek line nestled in amongst the trees, where the gully running down the hill meets the creek. One of our three dams is hidden in amongst the tea tree bushes nearby. You can see the house from this campsite, but it is far enough away that privacy is not an issue. Please be aware, all of our dams are seasonal and will be very low in the summer months. We also recommend that you do not swim in them. Hidden Corner Hidden Corner is situated at the back corner of the property. It is the most isolated of the three campsites with views of the open paddock and across the valley in front of you and state forest behind. Shed Pad (No longer has bathroom facilities) Shed Pad is our only powered site (15 amp) situated next to the main shed. It has a patio area with a table and 4 chairs (an extra 2 can be provided if required). WIFI is also available for an additional fee. It is an intimate site, perfect for one large caravan or two small caravans and a couple of swags/tents. It overlooks neighbouring paddocks and state forest. it is at the entrance to the property next to the main shed and in close proximity to the house.

We look for privacy for our Hipcamp getaways and this camp delivered. Our Border Collie ran off lead all weekend. Woke up to the sound of birds and a beautiful view. We stayed at Shikuru Site 1 and had an amazing experience. Fiona was incredibly kind and thoughtful — knowing we were travelling with a newborn, she left out a picnic rug and cushion for us, which we used throughout our stay. Such a simple gesture, but it made everything so much easier and more comfortable. The property itself was fantastic — large, peaceful and clearly well cared for, with many areas mowed by a ride-on at some stage. It’s those small touches that really show how much attention goes into the place. The whole family were extremely kind, generous and respectful, which made the experience even more enjoyable. And the homemade apple crumble and other goodies they we purchased as extras were absolutely delicious. Our dogs were allowed off-lead as long as they behaved, which we appreciated. One of ours got a bit too excited at times, but with a bit of common courtesy it was no issue at all. Overall, Shikuru Site 1 was a beautiful, well-kept spot with genuinely thoughtful hosting. We’d happily stay again.

Loved camping here for the long weekend away, great spot and great views of the river. Tried our luck at Kayaking but couldn’t get very far with fallen trees blocking our way, it’s a shame because it would have been an amazing spot for it. Hostess was great even cleared our fire pit ash ready for our stay. Great communication and would come back in the future.

What a wonderful trip! 😍🥰 Its a beautiful walk up, just be careful and go slow as you enjoy the scenery, the terrain around here is quite rocky and sandy as its on the coastline. Excellent access to the cape to cape track, beach / tide pools and just off Caves Road so getting anywhere in the region is a breeze. Perfect for a little couples getaway! I recommend pre-making meals that can be easily reheated on a camp stove, it made things just a bit easier. Perfect amount of creature comforts and camping / roughing it kinda vibes. Spectacular view from the van and table 🌊 Be prepared for flies and mosquito's in your preferred ways (sprays, creams etc), will be peak at springtime. Will be back and will recommend to others

Kimberly and Michael are great hosts. Everything was communicated well and firewood and eggs were delivered as expected. Rubbish bins and camp fire spot provided. Beautiful spot. Peaceful, no internet, no humans. Completely isolated and offgrid. Plenty on water in the river for a swim. Easy access for a small/medium van up to approx 19 foot. Conveyor belt in the distance was no issue. A peaceful get away. Doing it again.
