This acreage was historically a larger soldiers settlements property comprising a dairy, piggery and wool farming. The quality of the land hasn't changed with most of the region's farmland in use, so this is a cool place to stay in the Macedon Ranges.
Currently home to our family, the property is also visited by many native Australian birdlife species, many marsupials including kangaroos, echidna, possums and even a koala.
With close proximity to coffee shops and local stores of Romsey and Lancefield Providore, you have only a few minutes to drive to stock up on local produce.
Walking the trails around Hanging Rock is a 10-minute drive and Mt Macedon lookout 15min.

Located on the edge of the lake, our gorgeous lake house can accommodate a caravan or motorhome on a designated parking pad. There’s also plenty of room to pitch a tent or swag on flat, grassy areas. A huge deck provides the perfect spot to relax and soak up the sun. The lake house includes a small kitchenette and a separate toilet and shower.
Bring a fishing rod to try your luck catching silver perch, or nets for yabbies — there are plenty!
There’s an abundance of birdlife, including cockatoos, rosellas, king parrots, kookaburras, and tawny frogmouths. Kangaroos and echidnas often pay us a visit, too.
A grassed area with a fire pit is situated a few metres from the lake house, and firewood is available for purchase.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead. A grassy dog enclosure is available for guests who wish to explore the area while leaving their pet in a safe space. If you would like to bring your pet, please add the pet fee which is listed as an Extra during the booking process.
A wood-fired pizza oven, located in a separate undercover area, is available for use.
Lovely bushwalks, motorbike, and horse tracks are located close to the property.
World-class surf breaks are within a half-hour drive, with Bells Beach being the most iconic.
Torquay is home to surf shops and eateries — Rip Curl, Billabong, Roxy, and Rojo are all within walking distance of each other. You’ll also find great local breweries such as Four Pines and Bells Beach Brewery.
Torquay and Anglesea both have vibrant arts scenes — the Ashmore Arts hub is located in Torquay, and Anglesea is home to the Arts Shed. The Eagles Nest Gallery in Aireys Inlet also hosts exhibitions by local artists.

Currently home to our family, the property is also visited by many native Australian birdlife species, many marsupials including kangaroos, echidna, possums and even a koala.
With close proximity to coffee shops and local stores of Romsey and Lancefield Providore, you have only a few minutes to drive to stock up on local produce.
Walking the trails around Hanging Rock is a 10-minute drive and Mt Macedon lookout 15min.

Located on the edge of the lake, our gorgeous lake house can accommodate a caravan or motorhome on a designated parking pad. There’s also plenty of room to pitch a tent or swag on flat, grassy areas. Bring a fishing rod to try your luck catching silver perch, or nets for yabbies — there are plenty!

Lovely bushwalks, motorbike, and horse tracks are located close to the property.
World-class surf breaks are within a half-hour drive, with Bells Beach being the most iconic.
Torquay is home to surf shops and eateries — Rip Curl, Billabong, Roxy, and Rojo are all within walking distance of each other. You’ll also find great local breweries such as Four Pines and Bells Beach Brewery.
Torquay and Anglesea both have vibrant arts scenes — the Ashmore Arts hub is located in Torquay, and Anglesea is home to the Arts Shed. The Eagles Nest Gallery in Aireys Inlet also hosts exhibitions by local artists.

We loved staying at Misty Mornings! Nice flat ground, great for Caravans, rooftop tents and ground tents. Gorgeous views, nice and quiet and plenty of room between the 2 sites.

Lovely nights stay beautiful views great level site with a fire pit (we didn’t use). Ally was lovely and as a bonus we had a paddock with a ram amongst the ewes ( better than TV lol )

Victoria is a lovely host. The campsite is peaceful site by the lake with your own ensuite. Such a peaceful environment as a base to go off touring and to chill. The fur babies and I were totally relaxed. A lovely environment to re-centre yourself before travelling again. Thank you Victoria for offering such a lovely experience.

We recently stayed at this Hipcamp in our caravan and it was one of those places you almost want to keep secret. The site was easy to access and spacious enough to set up comfortably without feeling cramped, which made arriving and settling in stress free. It struck the perfect balance between privacy and open space, feeling peaceful and tucked away while still welcoming and safe. The hosts were friendly and helpful without being intrusive, with clear communication and thoughtful touches that made the stay even better. We loved relaxing outside looking at the spectacular view. It’s the kind of spot where the kids can explore, the adults can truly unwind, and everyone sleeps well — we’d happily stay again.

Weekend Trip to Mountain Flower Farm
Loved the camper trailer and the property. The host is a legend, very friendly, responsive, and helpful. Already recommended this stay to all of my friends. The trailer is very clean, well equipped and cozy. The nearby area offers many lovely nature walks and hikes.

Loved camping at this farm. Close to Melbourne and a pleasent drive. Was very safe and convenient. Firewood is available and you can even go berry picking. Ths host Jana was a really cool guy. Must recommended.

Super happy with this Hipcamp. We booked it to arrive after our ferry and it was perfect. Close to the terminal, peaceful and plenty of privacy and space for the kids to play and be kids.
We met the two kelpies and they were very sweet. If we didn’t have future plans would have loved to extend our stay.

Very easy to find, great setup flat shade available, 1 port loo. Resident Donkey and friendly dogs come to say hi. Wayne was very friendly, great host. Camp was only 30mins to Spirit of Tasmania for our departure $35 for the night.
