The property is 600 acres of thick Victorian bush and farmed paddocks. We have a wide range of hobby farm animals - pigs, sheep, alpacas, chickens, ponies, a donkey, along with commercial heard of South African Boer Goats. As night falls, the wildlife come out to play - kangaroos, rabbits, deer and wallabies. Internally, we have in excess of 10 kilometers of roads within the property, the majority being 2WD accessible (weather conditions apply). There are parts of the property which are only 4WD accessible. Our campsites are placed to allow you to be as isolated as possible - away from other campers (you may see others as you drive past, or they drive past you). At some of our bush sites, you will be able to see other campers, but they are not close by. Additionally, we anticipate our Fire Danger Period for the 2025/2026 Summer Season will commence in the coming weeks. We have not toggled the Fire Ban on as we do still allow campfires, however campers MUST adhere to CFA guidelines at all times. On days of Total Fire Ban (TFB), no fires, including gas stoves can be lit outdoors. In event of the TFB toggle needing to be used on Hipcamp, this will advise all guests booked on that day and to all future guests. We will toggle it off once the TFB is removed. Furthermore, we reserve the right to ask you not to light a fire regardless of TFB status if we feel weather conditions are unsafe, especially the wind element. Just over 1 hours drive from Melbourne, you'll arrive in the peaceful town of Flowerdale. Here at Tranquil Rises we offer 2 on-site Glamping Tents with lake views. The on-site tents offer the upper most opulence for those wanting to get away in style. Plenty to do on this 60 acre retreat - bushwalking, nature spotting, kayaking, fishing (additional cost). Or simply relax by the water. The local Flowerdale Hotel offers a fantastic atmosphere and great pub meals for those who want to do as little as possible. Or even cook your own BBQ right in front of your tent on one of our brand new BBQ's.

Great little spot that's out of town but still only a few minutes away from shops, gym and 15mins to Geelong CBD. We stayed before heading to the Spirit of Tasmania. The paddock is flat with shady trees dotted around and situated on a quiet deadend road.

My partner and I stayed in the “Cozy Pozy Van” - it was clean and pretty much fully equipped. We enjoyed exploring the farm, feeding the goats, and we even picked our own flowers to take home! Tamara, and her son were very friendly and welcoming.

Belinda's paddock was just what we needed for our two camping families for an overnight stop. A large mown space, isolated but close enough to town. The fire pit was great. Belinda was a great host. Lots of joeys around for the kids to enjoy spotting. Lovely fire pit too.

Great spot with plenty of room, nice and level. Great access for even large caravans. Wayne is very friendly and we enjoyed meeting his dogs, Tillie and Daisy and have them play around our campsite. Also lovely to have the horses come to greet us
