Fresh Water Farm offers a private campsite on the Towamba River in Kiah. You can enjoy swimming, kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, fishing, walking, and bird watching all on the 350 acres. Fresh Water Farms location provides a great base to explore Eden and the Far South Coast. Eden is 15 minutes away with its new Mountain Bike trails, Gravity Eden. We also have the Green Cape end of the Beowa National Park nearby. Our camp sites are best for those with an off-grid, 4wd Set up. We have a shared central river access point with the camping sites dispersed in the near by open paddock.

Spacious level grassy campsites on the Towamba River, a pristine estuary that runs into Twofold Bay. 10 minutes on bitumen south of Eden and close to many of the Sapphire Coast's stunning coastline, National Parks and attractions. Site #1 (near) Boatramp has NO facilities so you must be self-contained. Site #2 Main Site offers a composting toilet. Both sites have access to fresh water and are suitable for caravans as well as tents. We are not and never will be a 'caravan park' - your group will have exclusive use of the campsite. Each are far from each other, both are right near to - or very close to - the river. Our guests love the tranquility and not having to share! Fish the river for flathead or bream and enjoy it for dinner by the campfire. Bring your kayak or SUP or just enjoy a swim in the clear sandy-bottom river. Once your booking request has been confirmed, let us know if you need more specific directions so you can find us easily. Well behaved (spoilt) dogs okay but please no hunting type dogs. Both sites have access to separate taps for fresh drinking water. Firewood can be collected from the property or supplied at a small fee (you can book this when you book your site). Feel free to collect your own kindling - plenty around). Good mobile reception on the Telstra network. PLEASE NOTE: the property is currently listed for sale. The Property is situated on the pristine Wallagaraugh river near the Victorian and New South Wales border, 8km down an all weather dirt road, easily accessible for caravaners and boaters and is approximately 45 km from Eden and 40 km from Mallacoota by car, very isolated but has limited phone and internet reception, 15 minutes down river Gypsy Point, another 20 minutes your at Mallacoota on the coast if you need fuel, supplies, etc, 5 to 10 minutes up river the bullring , proceeding with caution you will go through a temperate rainforest and end up at the rock wall with small waterfalls and fresh water pools. A haven for many species of birds and wildlife, sea and wedge tail eagles nesting close by a bird watchers and canoeists paradise, also many species of fish so if you want to wet a line a Victorian fishing licence is needed, the river has a 5 knot speed limit from the campsite to Gypsy Point, if your more into bushwalking or sightseeing there are several national parks within a 30 minute drive or boat trip, or just have a swim, chill, relax and enjoy the peace and serenity. one site has small tinny access to the river and the other is good for a 20 ft boat, can accommodate up to 10 at one site and 5 at the other, camping and fires are only allowed in designated areas, bring your own firewood or it can be supplied for $25 per wheelbarrow when booking in, at both sites you cannot have fires or camp in fenced off river frontage, you will have to provide your own camp toilet, shower, etc and take all waste away when you leave, I can arrange if needed by prior notice, bulk firewood, launching of boat, etc. No firewood collection, motorbike riding, shooting or 4x4ing on site, some pets on leash may be allowed by prior arrangement, if having trouble booking or any other inquiries please send message cheers John.

If you want to get away from the maddening crowd and completely turn off from your tech, this is the spot. Immersing myself in the isolation, the only sounds coming from nature and being able to sit by the rushing river or sit on the loo while looking at the bush, gave me the most alive feeling. The spot is perfect with the cleared circle and excellent fire pit all bringing such a sense of peace. Even heard a lyrebird go through its paces.

Big, beautiful sites with enormous spaces (forest/hills) between sites so you have complete privacy from other campers. Cleanest pit toilet I’ve ever seen, with a view worth $$$$. Big fire pits and generous supply of firewood if you choose to purchase it. This place was everything I hoped it would be and the super friendly hosts just topped it off

We stayed for 5 glorious nights in November as the end cap of our East Coast Victoria journey, and we couldn't have picked a more beautiful place than this spot in Kiah, near Eden. If you love privacy and wildlife, this is your heaven. The large, beautiful open grass area was perfect for camping, and with only one other camper visible the whole time, it felt like we had the entire riverbank to ourselves—truly a no shoes needed kind of freedom! The wildlife here is spectacular. We saw deer, majestic eagles, and, of course, the charming wombats doing their nightly rounds, alongside the resident farm cows and chickens. Our dog absolutely adored the safety and freedom this special river spot offered, making it a perfect pet-friendly escape. The fishing is genuinely amazing, but we won't give away all the secrets—you'll have to book and find out for yourself! This is a rare, peaceful find for anyone looking to completely disconnect and immerse themselves in nature. Highly, highly recommend!

We had a great level camp for our camper trailer. The grass was better than my lawn at home. It was a vast open site with the forest on either side and creek running through to the beautiful river beyond. A Fire pit with plenty of good firewood within reach. Wombats and birds a plenty. Jenny and Arthur were great hosts with Arthur meeting us at the gate on arrival. Would highly recommend at least a two day stopover.

Nice large camping space. Cleanest outside toilet you’ll ever experience. Lots of wombats and kookaburras about. A bit disappointed that the wood I purchased wasn’t the dryest. But overall it was a great experience and nice to be able to bring the dog.
