Located on the edge of the lake, our gorgeous lake house can accommodate a caravan or motorhome on a designated parking pad. There’s also plenty of room to pitch a tent or swag on flat, grassy areas. A huge deck provides the perfect spot to relax and soak up the sun. The lake house includes a small kitchenette and a separate toilet and shower.
Bring a fishing rod to try your luck catching silver perch, or nets for yabbies — there are plenty!

The deck overlooks a large backyard that extends to the hills and dam. Relax on the refurbished lounge in the Balinese gazebo, where you can watch ducks wander by and listen to native birds nesting in the trees. A fire pit and seating area make for enjoyable nights outdoors when the weather permits. Please note, the fire pit is not available during summer or when fire bans are in place.

We recently stayed at this Hipcamp in our caravan and it was one of those places you almost want to keep secret. The site was easy to access and spacious enough to set up comfortably without feeling cramped, which made arriving and settling in stress free. It struck the perfect balance between privacy and open space, feeling peaceful and tucked away while still welcoming and safe. The hosts were friendly and helpful without being intrusive, with clear communication and thoughtful touches that made the stay even better. We loved relaxing outside looking at the spectacular view. We had an amazing camping stay - honestly one of the best sites we’ve been to! It’s not too big, which makes it feel more private, peaceful and relaxing. The lake and river just behind the fence are absolutely beautiful and make the whole place feel extra special.
The amenities were clean and fresh, the staff were super friendly and the location is great. Colac town is only a couple of minutes away with all the shops and facilities you need.
