Somerville Park is a 500acre property at Fosterville, 20mins from Bendigo. There are a variety of campsites suitable for self-contained guests who have their own toilet/shower facilities and drinking water. We also have 2 newly developed powered sites for your convenience. Please note, all toilet waste is strictly to be taken off the property. Campfires are permitted in provided fire-pits or your own portable metal fire-pit out of fire restriction times and feel free to bring your furry friends, making sure they're leashed at all times. Some sites also provide chairs and table settings for your convenience.
The farm is completely surrounded by the Wellsford state forest which offers bush walking and many tracks for bike riding. Mt Sugarloaf which is situated south of the property provides a great hike. Spectacular sunrises and sunsets create beautiful reflections on the water in the numerous dams on the property. Rainfall can restrict access to some sites on the property.
The city of Bendigo is 25mins drive. Epsom is a 15min drive where you will find a shopping centre which includes a petrol station, Woollies, Pizza, Chemist Warehouse, Aldi, Brumbys Bakery, Reject Shop, Fish and Chips and BWS. Lake Eppalock is a 25min drive where you can engage in water sport activities. The Campaspe River is 10mins away.
The farm is very quiet and restful with the sounds of abundant native bird life and provides great subjects and scenery for the photographic enthusiast. Loud, party groups with music at high volume are not permitted. Chainsaws and motorbikes are also not permitted.

Our property, "Seven Hills Tallarook", sits high above Tallarook with deep valleys and high peaks, just over one hour North of Melbourne's CBD. The property is 600 acres of thick Victorian bush and farmed paddocks.
We have a wide range of hobby farm animals - pigs, sheep, alpacas, chickens, ponies, a donkey, along with commercial heard of South African Boer Goats. As night falls, the wildlife come out to play - kangaroos, rabbits, deer and wallabies.
Internally, we have in excess of 10 kilometers of roads within the property, the majority being 2WD accessible (weather conditions apply). There are parts of the property which are only 4WD accessible.
Our campsites are placed to allow you to be as isolated as possible - away from other campers (you may see others as you drive past, or they drive past you). At some of our bush sites, you will be able to see other campers, but they are not close by.
Additionally, we anticipate our Fire Danger Period for the 2025/2026 Summer Season will commence in the coming weeks. We have not toggled the Fire Ban on as we do still allow campfires, however campers MUST adhere to CFA guidelines at all times. On days of Total Fire Ban (TFB), no fires, including gas stoves can be lit outdoors. In event of the TFB toggle needing to be used on Hipcamp, this will advise all guests booked on that day and to all future guests. We will toggle it off once the TFB is removed. Furthermore, we reserve the right to ask you not to light a fire regardless of TFB status if we feel weather conditions are unsafe, especially the wind element. We cannot plan the weather and the request to not light your campfires will most likely be on the day and we will advise as such. Our interest is with your safety, our neighbors and our property and our family.

Our property, "Seven Hills Tallarook", sits high above Tallarook with deep valleys and high peaks, just over one hour North of Melbourne's CBD. The property is 600 acres of thick Victorian bush and farmed paddocks.
We have a wide range of hobby farm animals - pigs, sheep, alpacas, chickens, ponies, a donkey, along with commercial heard of South African Boer Goats. As night falls, the wildlife come out to play - kangaroos, rabbits, deer and wallabies.
Internally, we have in excess of 10 kilometers of roads within the property, the majority being 2WD accessible (weather conditions apply). There are parts of the property which are only 4WD accessible.
Our campsites are placed to allow you to be as isolated as possible - away from other campers (you may see others as you drive past, or they drive past you). At some of our bush sites, you will be able to see other campers, but they are not close by.
Additionally, we anticipate our Fire Danger Period for the 2025/2026 Summer Season will commence in the coming weeks. We have not toggled the Fire Ban on as we do still allow campfires, however campers MUST adhere to CFA guidelines at all times. On days of Total Fire Ban (TFB), no fires, including gas stoves can be lit outdoors. In event of the TFB toggle needing to be used on Hipcamp, this will advise all guests booked on that day and to all future guests. We will toggle it off once the TFB is removed. Furthermore, we reserve the right to ask you not to light a fire regardless of TFB status if we feel weather conditions are unsafe, especially the wind element. We cannot plan the weather and the request to not light your campfires will most likely be on the day and we will advise as such. Our interest is with your safety, our neighbors and our property and our family.

Yeramba is a boutique Farmstay retreat.
We have a selection of small friendly farm animals for guests to interact with.
Goats to feed and ponies to brush.
We are dog friendly and campsite is fenced for dogs and can be off leash under supervision. Dogs must be on a leash when walking around the property to explore.
We also have 15 acres of natural bush land with walking tracks, wildlife and birdsong.
Both our dams are stocked with trout and Redfin. Fishing rods available for hire.
The campsite is spacious approximately 2 acres and fenced off. For larger family / friends group please contact host.
Designated campfire site with firewood available $20 ( subject to weather conditions)
Abundant birdlife for bird watching and photography……includes an undercover bird hide with seating.
Campsite is close to landscaped gardens with shady trees and picnic table.
A communal camp kitchen in The Stables close by.
Easy vehicle access on flat ground.
Lots of space for outdoor activities…. We even supply some gorgeous kites for children to fly and space for ball games including goal posts and volleyball net.

What an amazing spot! Lots of space, lots to do. It was quiet, so quiet. Very relaxing.
Close to Daylesford and other small town. Recommend Smeaton Hotel for a awesome feed and friendly service.
And Anneke is a gracious host. She check up on us to make sure all was good. She has lots of knowledge of things to do locally.

Who would have thought .... Just two hours from Melbourne and you find yourself on a multi-generational working family farm surrounded by 360 degree majestic views and serenaded by a multitude of native birds and the hum of nature. Nearly all the carefully positioned camp sites, which are very generous in size, face the tranquil stream meandering through the property. The fish are jumping in the stream and we saw a platypus swimming through. We (including our two pugs) absolutely loved our week stay here, so much so that we have already booked another two week stay next year. Thanks Mark you are the perfect host, greeting us on arrival and sharing stories about your beautiful property. We look forward to returing for another totalling relaxing stay.

Our stay at Rodborough Vale was fantastic. Sites were a long way from each other so we felt like we were there on our own.
So close to the water and we had our own little beach and swimming spot. Beautiful gums along the creek. Sky at night was magic
Mark was great host welcomed us and checked in on us. Milly the dog was very friendly and enjoyed a pat. Mark pointed out landmarks on the property which we were then able to walk to. Had a great stay and look forward to back

What an amazing weekend getaway! 🚐 We stayed at a fantastic spot from March 13-15, 2026, with our 20ft caravan. Site 1 offered easy access and stunning vineyard views, complete with visits from local kangaroos at dusk. 🍇 The hosts were incredibly warm and inviting, making us eager to return! We really enjoyed our stay at this property. Very well distributed and lots of privacy for each campsite.
We camped with 4-year-old toddlers and they had a great time! Next to the creek and open areas to explore.

This was our third time staying at Rodborough Vale but our first time at Creek Flat campsite. We absolutely loved this campsite, very private and beautiful. We saw the resident platypus hanging out in the creek as well as lots of bird life, including Corellas, red-rumped parrots, kookaburras, a little willy wagtail that hung out at our campsite every day and two wedge-tailed eagles! We also heard some tawny frog mouths as well were falling asleep. We camp at Rodborough every year and already counting down til next year

I loved to camp at the Somerville park!
It was really huge site and the owner was really friendly even we booked it last minutes.
It was my first camping in my life :)
We booked sunset view site but we arrived after sunset so they suggested to stay sunrise view for next day!! And we enjoyed the sunrise in the morning❤️
There were some kangaroos and songbirds to watch! And be able to enjoy morning walks and driving around the area!
Highly recommend and we'll surely come back again!

I had a great night under the stars at Somerville Park. Communication from the hosts was fantastic and they even recommended I try a different campsite to the one I booked because they thought I would like it and they were so right. I spent my night solo camping on the banks of a small dam and creek listening to the frogs and looking at the stars, it was perfect.

We had a wonderful stay at the Gunnar Creek site at Summerville Park. The property is absolutely beautiful and so peaceful — the perfect quiet getaway. It was lovely meeting Sheryl and Bec as well; they were both so welcoming. Thank you for such a great stay, we can’t wait to come back!
