The cottage is a converted shed, with three bedrooms, a lovely living area and a cosy closed woodfire. We have a sheltered outdoor area, where you can have a barbeque, or have a small fire in a firedish. The cottage is in the bush, so you can walk out and try to find our resident breeding pair of Lyrebirds, echidnas, wombats, wallabies and kangaroos or the deer that live in our 'back yard'. Or just roam, which shouldn't be too hard on 67 acres . We are close to massive areas of bush with open trails. Dogs are very welcome- no cats. As we live in the bush, we do our best to keep everything as 'green' as we can- so please don't use harsh chemicals. Living in the bush brings with it that you cannot light a fire in fire danger periods, and, heating on a woodstove, means there is a hot stove in the room. (watch those little fingers...) Our aim is to give you a place of rest and enjoyment. We love to share our space as we love it here so much- and hope you love it too. As life is a project - don't expect 10* linen and luxury, state of the art gardens and clipped lawns, but a friendly welcoming atmosphere where you can be yourself and relax. We love to have visitors, and chat for a bit- or leave you to relax. The cottage is on the edge of the bush, where you are welcome to roam on the tracks or off them- at your own risk :-) We are both artists, and our studio's are close to the cottage, which might make some noise, but we'll try to keep it at a minimum when guests are here. The upside is, you could learn something if interested :-) (contact us for workshops) We have a working hobby farm- with some machinery, animals (pigs, dogs, horses, ducks and chickens). You can interact with the animals if you talk to us about safety first, but the horse paddock is out of bounds. ( they can behave unpredictable, are very large (!) and very valuable) Our dogs are very friendly and will most probably visit you. Our puppy still has lots to learn :-) Our property is stock- fenced, our animals will stay in, but dogs are able to roam if they are not staying with you. There is no secure yard to leave your dog during the day, you are expected to be in control of your dogs at all times. If they are ok with horses, chooks and dogs, and under voice command, they can be off leash. Dogs are not to sleep on the beds. We are a rural property with animals, and there are dams on the property, (not close to the cottage) so please keep an eye on children - we cannot take responsibility for your persons or animals. Living on a farm means that not everything is neat, safe, flat or person-proof. Often there is actual work being done involving machinery. Coming here is entirely at your own risk. (sorry for all the disclaimers...) But- of course- if there is anything we can do to make your visit more pleasurable, we will do our best to do so!

The cottage is in the bush, so you can walk out and try to find our resident breeding pair of Lyrebirds, echidnas, wombats, wallabies and kangaroos or the deer that live in our 'back yard'. Or just roam, which shouldn't be too hard on 67 acres . We are close to massive areas of bush with open trails. Dogs are very welcome- no cats. As we live in the bush, we do our best to keep everything as 'green' as we can- so please don't use harsh chemicals. Living in the bush brings with it that you cannot light a fire in fire danger periods, and, heating on a woodstove, means there is a hot stove in the room. (watch those little fingers...) Our aim is to give you a place of rest and enjoyment. We love to share our space as we love it here so much- and hope you love it too. As life is a project - don't expect 10* linen and luxury, state of the art gardens and clipped lawns, but a friendly welcoming atmosphere where you can be yourself and relax. We love to have visitors, and chat for a bit- or leave you to relax. I had such an amazing getaway at this beautiful farm. The host and her mum were incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home and their hospitality was truly exceptional. The van itself was spotless, cozy, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The views were absolutely stunning, and spending the evenings by the fireplace under the stars was pure magic. Weekend Trip to Mountain Flower Farm

We had a lovely weekend away at the Cozy Pozy! We stayed two nights but wish we had stayed longer. The van was perfect for two people and there were so many little conveniences in the van to make us feel right at home. The farm and the views were wonderful as well. We saw Rosellas, black cockatoos and gang-gang cockatoos flying over the farm daily, and were greeted by a pair of baby goats running towards us one morning which was beautiful. The farm is close to town so we enjoyed a couple of outings to the local pub for lunch and some games of pool, as well as a trip to St Andrew’s market which was less than 10 mins away. Tamara and family were so welcoming and helpful, thank you! We hope to visit again soon :)

Weekend Trip to The Stables On Knox

We had a wonderful stay at The Stables on Knox! We came to take maternity photos and the property was perfect – beautiful scenery, a cute cozy house, and lots of photogenic spots inside and out. The fireplace made it extra relaxing too 😊 Some things to note: the BBQ and pizza oven in the barn were quite dirty so we didn’t use them, and the coffee machine was broken. Also, we were woken up early by a possum scratching on the roof – a true country experience, but something to keep in mind if you’re a light sleeper! Overall, we loved our stay and would definitely recommend it!

Weekend Trip to Weemalah Cabin & Camping

Really wonderful weekend escape. My partner and puppy and I enjoyed a farm stay here at Anne Maree's cute cabin. It had everything we needed and was easy to find, the farm grounds are huge and we couldn't even manage to walk the whole property! Friendly dogs on the farm that would visit us. The cabin it Esse was lovely and well presented, heating, comfy bed, kitchen with everything needed and am amazing bathroom with rain shower. The jacuzzi looked lovely but it was raining the entire stay, and it was not working anyway(the owner was extremely apologetic about this, and made up for it, by offering other alternatives and also made us home made scones, lamb shank soup and some other goodies, she didn't need to do this however Anne Maree was lovely and a proper host) this made us feel so comfortable and welcome and we already want to go back!! Hoping the rain is not there and the jacuzzi is fixed the next time we are there, Thankyou Ann Maree for a wonderful stay

Weekend Trip to Magic Mountain

We stayed with a toddler and a dog, and had a great time. The site was well organised and the A frame was clean and cosy. Our toddler loved reading books in the beanbag under the loft bed. A gas bbq and a wood fired pizza oven made life easy and we loved watching the sun set together from the giant hammock. The speed bumps going up the driveway are pretty intense, as previously noted. We have an Outback and still struggled on some of them. I'd recommend taking them on an angle at the edges, where the gradient isn't so steep. The way down is much easier. Overall, we loved it. An easy getaway from the city with a great view.

Weekend Trip to Shacks at Kardella Park

The Kardella Park glamping spot was beautifully set up with absolutely everything you could need. Very comfortable and well appointed. The bathroom setup was so squeaky clean I thought it seemed brand new. The pergola space was a great place for meals and had pretty good shade most of the day for the quite hot weekend we were there. The beach is not far to walk or bike, and is a good spot to hire stand up paddle boards, canoes etc. Damian and Alli were super helpful. Definitely recommend.

Weekend Trip to Weemalah Cabin & Camping

Had the most serendipitous weekend at Anne-mare’s campsite, it exceeded already very high expectations. The creek is stunning, and so fun for swimming, paddling floating, jumping off the rocks and (attempted) fishing. The landscape is so beautiful, plenty of space for camping and so much to explore. We also booked the cabin which was beautiful and the jacuzzi looking out on to the fields was such a delight!! Anne-maree met us at the gate and was super lovely and comprehensive showing us around and being available if we needed. Would 100% go back here!!

Weekend Trip to Springview Farm

We had a ball at Jo's hipcamp. It is such a unique and well set up camp, with so many extras provided, it was the easiest camping trip ever. We went with young kids (aged 2 - 8) and there were so many activities for them to do, from tennis, to feeding the animals, to swimming. The kids (and adults) loved the slippery slide, and watching the kids kayak in the evening whilst we sat by the fire pit in the evening was a highlight. I would 100% recommend and we'd love to come back.

Weekend Trip to Shacks at Kardella Park

We spent the long weekend at glamping tent in the garden area. It was great. I’ve stayed in many different types of accomodation, from non powered site to fancy hotels. I don’t use this word even for the five star hotels that I have stayed before but the bathroom and the toilet onsite are SPOTLESS. Both Damian and Ally are very nice and welcoming. You have to come to stay to experience yourself. The only disappointment is the stay finished too soon and I wish I booked for longer.. 😄 Thank you for the nice weekend! We will be coming back! 🖤

Weekend Trip to Springview Farm

Springview farm exceeded our expectations in every single way possible. The photos don’t do this spot justice - the privacy, the comfort, the small touches, it’s everything you could want for a weekend away. Jo went above and beyond to help us with things we were organising for our hens. We LOVED the dam and the slip n slide. The camp kitchen had everything we needed and the glamping setup was unbelievably cosy and comfy. We will be back without a doubt

Weekend Trip to Tiny Winch Farm

I can't thank Gayle enough for her hospitality and such a wonderful stay on Tiny Winch Farm. It really felt like we were staying in an extension of her home, there was so much thought and love put into the gypsy van. Gayle was so kind to give us a tour of her farm and let us have a lot of time with the highland cows. A truly relaxing and meditative experience.

7 nights at Weemalah Cabin & Camping

Loved staying at the farm house. Anne-Maree and her husband were very helpful through our trip. The view to the cattle was beautiful, sunsets every evening - brilliant! Worth noting the spa didn't get as hot as we would have liked as there was no cover. The max temperature we could get it to was 35 degrees which is not that warm - but still beautiful. Loved how self sufficient the cabin was too!
