This property appears to be a normal house site but opens up to a large beautifully grassed area with large trees and gardens. Perfect for that quite getaway. We are not a caravan park!! We are an alternative to the cramped boxed in conditions you find in caravan parks. Plenty of space, green grass (when we have had rain) peace and quiet.
Large 4800 square metre block. 4 camp sites all dog friendly sites. Gates are locked at night for safety. Great for kids and dogs to ride, run and play. We have a host dog Milo who loves pats and crashing under vans. You will see pictures of him on our website, He is very friendly and quiet. He does have the roam of the place. If you're not a dog person you may need to reconsider your booking.
- Water and power available on request. Small fees apply. Unfortunately, we had to start charging due to excess use by some campers
- Large campfire weather permitting, great for drinks and conversations. We encourage all campers to join in when the fires roaring, We supply some wood always good to bring a bit to keep the fire going. Fire restrictions govern use.

Located on the edge of the lake, our gorgeous lake house can accommodate a caravan or motorhome on a designated parking pad. There’s also plenty of room to pitch a tent or swag on flat, grassy areas. We offer 2 flat caravan or tent sites, both with drinking water , 1 with limited power , the other no power.
There is also a site with a glamping tent set in the garden.
The 6 metre round tent sleeps 2, with a queen size bed, linen provided.
It is carpeted, has a fridge, kettle and BBQ. Just pack your toothbrush, clothes, food and drinks.
All 3 sites have the use of a shared composting toilet.
For a refreshing experience there is an outdoor, open air hot shower overlooking the dam.
Close by is a spacious shelter/shed with tables, chairs and a rustic kitchen area with sink and heater.
Well behaved dogs are accepted on the caravan sites, but we ask that you please discuss with us prior to booking. Dogs are to be kept on a lead at all times, wild ducks and the properties own poultry wander here.
No dogs on the glamping tent site.
Campfires are allowed during the cooler months, left to the hosts discretion for safety reasons. We supply a fire pit. BYO wood.

Located on the edge of the lake, our gorgeous lake house can accommodate a caravan or motorhome on a designated parking pad. There’s also plenty of room to pitch a tent or swag on flat, grassy areas. A huge deck provides the perfect spot to relax and soak up the sun. The lake house includes a small kitchenette and a separate toilet and shower.
Bring a fishing rod to try your luck catching silver perch, or nets for yabbies — there are plenty!
There’s an abundance of birdlife, including cockatoos, rosellas, king parrots, kookaburras, and tawny frogmouths. Kangaroos and echidnas often pay us a visit, too.
A grassed area with a fire pit is situated a few metres from the lake house, and firewood is available for purchase.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead. A grassy dog enclosure is available for guests who wish to explore the area while leaving their pet in a safe space. If you would like to bring your pet, please add the pet fee which is listed as an Extra during the booking process.
A wood-fired pizza oven, located in a separate undercover area, is available for use.
Lovely bushwalks, motorbike, and horse tracks are located close to the property.
World-class surf breaks are within a half-hour drive, with Bells Beach being the most iconic.
Torquay is home to surf shops and eateries — Rip Curl, Billabong, Roxy, and Rojo are all within walking distance of each other. You’ll also find great local breweries such as Four Pines and Bells Beach Brewery.
Torquay and Anglesea both have vibrant arts scenes — the Ashmore Arts hub is located in Torquay, and Anglesea is home to the Arts Shed. The Eagles Nest Gallery in Aireys Inlet also hosts exhibitions by local artists.
Markets are held regularly on the foreshore in Torquay and Anglesea, and there’s a weekly Farmers Market in Torquay.

We offer 2 flat caravan or tent sites, both with drinking water , 1 with limited power , the other no power.
There is also a site with a glamping tent set in the garden.
The 6 metre round tent sleeps 2, with a queen size bed, linen provided.
It is carpeted, has a fridge, kettle and BBQ. Just pack your toothbrush, clothes, food and drinks.
All 3 sites have the use of a shared composting toilet.
For a refreshing experience there is an outdoor, open air hot shower overlooking the dam.
Close by is a spacious shelter/shed with tables, chairs and a rustic kitchen area with sink and heater.
Well behaved dogs are accepted on the caravan sites, but we ask that you please discuss with us prior to booking. Dogs are to be kept on a lead at all times, wild ducks and the properties own poultry wander here.
No dogs on the glamping tent site.
Campfires are allowed during the cooler months, left to the hosts discretion for safety reasons. We supply a fire pit. BYO wood.

Amanda’s campsite is a true hidden gem — a little paradise, even better than the photos.
The place is incredibly quiet and peaceful, perfect for fully relaxing. We love camping and have visited many places, and this is by far one of the best we’ve stayed at.
Amanda is a genuinely lovely host who takes great care of both her property and the people staying there. The campsite and amenities are spotless, so if you visit, please help keep it as clean as Amanda does.
We only stayed for one night, but we definitely want to come back and stay for many more days. Highly recommended.

Stayed Saturday and Sunday night with 8 adults and a toddler for the Australia Day weekend. Great shady trees, fire pit ready, plenty of fire wood available, public toilet across the road. Other campsites are quite close and easily visible. Site 2 is the closest for access.

Hugh was lovely and the site was very close to the beach, had lots of greenery and a built in fire pit. If you want super private camping the other campers are visible and you can hear anything too loud. The dogs had a great time running around chasing the ball with the size of the space and there were lots of trees for shade.
It’s a great site if you are wanting to spend time at ocean grove, barwon heads or port arlington etc.

A peaceful and lovely stay for 2 nights, just what we needed after road tripping from Sydney. There was plenty of room in the paddock to give us privacy and space. The outdoor shower was a novelty and the shared kitchen was useful. The location although feels rural, is quite close to shops and amenities.

Great camping had on Hugh's property. Nicely quiet and private to feel isolated from civilisation yet a short 8 min drive into Ocean Grove cafes, shops, supermarket, and the main surf beach which made camping in a tent with 2 young kids in tow very convenient for me. We had a portaloo so we didn't use the public toilets at the reserve across the road. Showers had at public amenities availble at the main surf beach. Big eucy tree at site 9 provided ample shade for play and hanging out and some for our tent from the afternoon sun. The site was located furthest away from all the other sites with plenty (and I mean plenty) of space to spread out. All other sites were spaced from each other nicely as well from what I could see. Hugh met us at the entry and showed us around before leading us to our site stocked up with firewood. Extra firewood if needed was available and we were able to refill our 20 litre water container on the property as well. Hugh's a great host; friendly and helpful. Communication at booking was prompt and clear. Will definitely stay again.

Wow had a wonderful, wonderful stay at this very picturesque ‘fruit tree orchard’ in Red Hill South. Lovely greeting from Tara upon arrival. The communication prior was excellent and I found the property with ease. I had the choice of any of the four sites and chose site 1 on the second tier overlooking the fire pit and dam. Wonderful views to the south and experienced great sunrises and sunsets to the west. Very peaceful and my border collie dog loved the open space of the well mowed paddock. Red Hill shops are approximately 3 k’s away - with a walking track next to the road to ensure safety. Great place for a coffee. Also did a loop return walk back via the old historic Red Hill Rail trail. I was in a 2 wheel drive motorhome - no issue with the terrain. Would definitely recommend Tara’s land for R&R and walking. Many wineries within close proximity also. Stunning views everywhere you look.will definitely be returning.
