Clear Springs is a very special spot, offering sweeping views over rolling hills, and across to the ocean. King Island lighthouse is visible on clear nights, and there are koalas and wallabies in abundance. Whilst we require you to BYO toilet, we do have hot shower, woodfired hot-tub, power, water and phone reception. The site is all-weather access, and is just a 7-minutes drive to the Apollo Bay township. Once you catch your breath after initially taking in the sweeping, majestic ocean views, you can find a spot to pitch your tent or park your van. You drive in through a locked farm gate into the fenced camp area. There is not an abundance of flat area, so may not suit if you need large level space. We don't accept multiple bookings, so the space is all yours. You can choose from a few different spots with near-level ground (choose grass or gravel). The site is open to the amazing ocean views to the south yet the area is nestled among mature trees to give privacy and shelter. There are very few houses dotted around the area and not a single busy road within earshot. There is 240v mains power (BYO lead and plug into switchboard). And a tank with spring water (natural and untreated, we've been drinking it for years) and a pressure pump (BYO hoses as needed). There is an outdoor gas-heated shower. We also have a woodfired hot tub available for guests, BYO firewood. Our listing is intended for people looking for a private, tranquil and well-serviced camping area with several bonuses such as firewood, power, water, telstra reception, and a hot tub. And no other guests to worry about. It's much more than a patch of grass! But please BYO toilet - this is mandatory - and leave no trace to allow other people to enjoy the beauty of our property. Sea Glimpse Shack is a renovated shed that offers a comfortable, semi-self-contained space with essential amenities for budget-conscious travelers. While there are no cooking facilities, a kettle, toaster, and microwave are provided, along with a small selection of tea, coffee, and sugar. Conveniently located just 15 minutes from the world-famous Twelve Apostles, the shack is also a short 5-minute drive to Port Campbell, where guests can find a variety of restaurants. Additionally, it is only 15 minutes from Peterborough and Timboon, home to cafés, a bakery, local shops, the Timboon Fine Ice Creamery, and a strawberry farm. Guests have access to free parking at the front of the shack. Please note that the driveway is shared with the hosts, and a speed limit of 15 km/h must be observed due to the presence of animals. As this is a working farm, you may hear typical farm noises such as cows mooing, dogs barking, or even koalas grunting. If these sounds are not to your liking, this accommodation may not be suitable for you. Please be aware that charging electric vehicles or washing vehicles is not permitted at the shack.

The place was easy to find and get to , with beautiful on the hill views looking down onto the surrounding lakes and hills. Well facilitated with clean toitles , showers, laundry and shared kitchen which have ramps for easy access. There is a bp down the road and for $5 you can hire a fire pit ( you need to souce your own wood) . The entrance has a boom gate to keep your camp safe. I camped with a my dog and bird.

The most gorgeous and private site, near a beautiful lake! amenities for everything you’d need including a fire pit (can also buy firewood) we only stayed for one night but wish it was longer, reminded us the true beauty in camping! The hosts are super lovely too with knowledge of the area and full of recommendations! anyone considering this place, book it!!!!!

Weekend Trip to Sunny Lake Farm

We absolutely loved our stay here! The property is beautiful and peaceful. No other campers in sight and there was plenty of space for the kids to run around. Our host was very hospitable and keen to make our stay comfortable. The kids got to feed the horses and we saw/heard all sorts of bird wildlife. The facilities are also excellent and have everything you need. Torquay was only 30 minutes drive, so convenient and we booked a table at the Blackmans brew pub for dinner one night.

Great little campground except very wet and muddy when we were there. On fine days it would be great. Good track around oval and oval to exercise yourself and dog. Toilets though old were very clean. Didn't use showers.. Very close to things along Great Ocean Road

What a spectacular spot on Lake Keilambete! Just one site so go on your own or take some friends as we did plus our puppy dog. Fenced off one acre section so perfect to take your furry friends. Bruce popped down for a chat which was great...nice bloke sharing his beautiful property! It is fairly exposed to the elements so go prepared. The facilities were really great....nice and clean. We will definitely be back!
