Aireys inlet is a unique tiny town with so much to do. The local beach is iconic for surfing and swimming, the local creek is a favourite at the inlet for young kids to swim or for canoeists to have somewhere quiet to paddle. Mountain biking is a must in the area, with thousands of tracks available right outside the back door. If you have your own horse you can bring it along on holiday with you, we have paddocks available and there are so many gorgeous tracks around to ride on and beach riding at low tide and the right times is a bucket list item! The location itself is 17 acres and is next to the Painkallac creek in a peaceful bush setting. This location used to be a horse riding school which is now not running but has been converted to offer camping, caravan and RV parking. It’s only 1.5 km from the beach and the Otway national park is right on your doorstep. If you have bikes, horses or love to hike or run, or just laze on the beach, it’s a perfect location, be ready to be spoilt as there are so many tracks on offer in our stunning local beach and bush land. The local town of aireys inlet has plenty to offer, a general store for all your essentials, loads of places to eat out for breakfast, lunch or dinner and only 1 3/4hrs from Melbourne. No need to stress if you don’t want to be near anyone else, this is a small setting so it’s very private and its only got one space to rent so that you have peace and quiet. If you do have friends and want to book a double space please just message me and I can open up another space for you. I also have an option to add a pottery class for you, the cost is $50 a person for a two hour session. Look forward to seeing you at our cosy country and coastal retreat.

Nice little camping spot with a good flat area and a well thought out fire pit, perfect entry level “off grid” spot as in less than 5 mins you can walk to The Store and get some creature comforts. It isnt the kind of spot where you are in the middle of no where, which is sometimes what we are after, but for what it is, it is well setup.

Great private spot in absolutely beautiful bushland. We camped at the second spot down the hill. Compost toilet, fire pit and dog friendly made for a perfect little getaway for our group of 5. Super close to Otways NP, Lorne and Deans Marsh and really easy to get to from Melbourne. A rare find in that area! Kylie was great, very responsive. It was a bit wet, but that’s the Otways - no fault of the owners. BYO firewood if you want some long burners. Will 100% come again.

Amazing, secluded and peaceful. The perfect retreat amongst the gum trees. Whoever wrote the review about feeling "unsafe" is a fruit loop. This is camping in the bush at its best. You have the whole site to yourself and Kylee is a legend who takes care to make sure you are settled in. We loved our stay. The drop toilet was a bonus! It's clean and serene. Short drive into Lorne is beautiful. Would definitely go back again.

We had a beautiful stay at Kylie’s camp over the weekend. The area was easy to find and perfectly tucked away in the natural landscape- we absolutely loved it! We could move the fire wherever we needed, which meant we could really make ourselves at home. Kylie was extremely helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. Would highly recommend staying here and we will definitely be back again!

Our property is around 2 hours from Melbourne, and offers fresh spring water with incredible views, and so much space! We offer a number of camping sites, but there is so much space, you'll be able to easily find a private and peaceful patch. All fields have wonderful views and are easily accessible. We don't however have toilets, so please ensure you are fully self-contained, with your own camp toilet. Campfires are permitted depending on local fire restrictions and ratings. Please ask if you’re unsure of the conditions during your stay. We recommend BYO firewood, as there is a limited amount of fallen timber around the grounds. We're also pet friendly, so you're welcome to bring your four-legged friends along. We are a working farm, with mostly cattle and sheep, so enjoy watching happy animals grazing and the local wildlife going about their day. The property is very well located to be a base camp for day trips throughout the southwest. Things to do in the local vicinity include plenty of options for walking, bike riding and horse trails, plus countless lakes including the nearby Deep Lake and Lake Ettrick (or Tooliorook) - both wonderful for swimming and stocked with fish. These lakes provide excellent opportunities for boating, water sports and fishing. There are also plenty of great local pubs and attractions, all within a short distance. The historic and charming Elephant Bridge Hotel is a short drive away in Darlington, offering meals in one of Victoria’s oldest continuously licensed venues. You can also find supplies just down the road at Derrinallum, or Lismore, which are each a mere few minutes drive away. A little further afield is friendly Camperdown, one of the best resources country towns in the region with dozens of eateries and activities aplenty for visitors.

Just over 5 acres of former dairy farm just outside Simpson, close to the Otway Gourmet trail, Great Ocean Rd, Otways National Park and more. The Coradjil Bushland Reserve is across the road. Great regional towns such as Timboon, Port Campbell, Peterborough and more are all nearby. If you want rural peace and great pastoral views, amazing sunsets and sunrises, and love bird-watching and nature-watching, this is a great place to stay. There are currently 2 very curious and friendly dairy cows in the paddock where they are living their best life with treats and no demands on them except to allow pats occasionally! We rescue, rehabilitate and release wildlife and there are released kangaroos pottering around, so dogs are welcome but must be under control. We are a sanctuary for all. No hunting parties. Note: you must have your own enclosed toilet and shower.
