The campsite itself was amazing. So much space and a clean toilet and the fire pit was awesome. However I suggest you find out if the speedway is going to be on, on the weekend of your visit. Coz that was loud!

Great spot for camping, nice and flat for setting up tents. Includes a fire pit and firewood for sale and a nice toilet. Matthew communicated well leading up to our stay.

Nice flat grassed area (Grass area 1 and 2)
Parts of Area needs a bit of TLC and clean up
Close to Warrnambool, Timboon, Port Campbell and Peterborough
So good place to explore area
Not the worst place we have stayed nor the best

I met Matthew on arrival, great guy, even gave me tips on places to visit that most people don't know about. The ground was nice and flat with plenty of shade. There are a couple of permanents but i hardly saw them, there is a clean flushing toilet and bags of timber at $15. The site is surrounded by tall trees and bushland, follow the signs for a great bushwalk, Warrnambool is 20 minutes away and 12 Apostles 45min in the opposite direction, I would definitely camp here again.

We had 2 camper trailers on lot 1&2 which was a huge area with the most beautiful tree right in the middle. Hot weather and we were loving the shade of that tree. There was a proper toilet just across from us and was much appreciated. The surrounding bush was beautiful and has a walking track which we loved...the dog also. Many Kookaburras were in action as well as a Koala. Overall a great stay and we'd love to come back again .

Great camp. Nice and quiet, nots to far from town. Matt, the host was very friendly and accomodating. Plenty of room for our vans. Fire pits available to use and firewood to purchase. Loved it, will definitely go back there agai.

Lovely secluded spot just outside of Warrnambol in the bush. Matt was very welcoming and accommodating. Would definitely stay there again if I was in the area!

Great spot! The sites have been set up well. Easy to find and not too far from town.
Perfect spot if you’re looking to visit Warrnambool in the busy season and still camp up nice and quant.

Really good spot! Nice, clean and quiet. Staying on way from Adelaide to Melbourne with wife, daughter and small dog. Looking forward to staying again in the future.

Highly recommended!
We've been a little bit worried, that we are driving wrong direction, but following the directions, once we turned in the bush and got into the camp, a beautiful peaceful place appeared in front of us. It was incredibly peaceful and relaxing place. Happy to come back one day!

Great spot near the great ocean road. Beautiful spot surrounded by gum trees. Campsites are well spread out. Bit noisy being on a main road but still a great place to camp

Felt safe and comfortable. However, it didn’t feel very maintained. Grass was long and toilets didn’t seem to be cleaned for a while. There is also a bit of road noise.

Lovely treed and grassed area, and was perfect for the kids. Very peaceful, loads of animals to see, dam close to the sites and there was a nice little walking track. We loved our stay here.

I loved the peaceful retreat at the campsite. Good one. No hand wash bowl or sink available at the site. Recommend to take your own toilet paper.

Fantastic bush site. We had a lovely night on the grassed area and even enjoyed a camp oven cooked on our fire (firepit supplied). Kids loved seeing the local resident koala in the tree. Matthew was very friendly and helpful.

We loved swag camping at Grassed Central, lovely and flat grassed area with flushable toilets and even a little bush walk. We would recommend to anyone looking at camping near the Great Ocean road.

Would choose the grass site next time. Being in the trees wasn’t to my wife’s liking haha. Nice to have power though.
