Green grassy campsites on an Old Victorian Dairy Country Farm House site. The property is located in the Otways, the rail trail is close by for bush walks, wildlife watching or mountain biking. Two micro breweries are within 20 minutes drive (Prickly Moses, Forest Brewery). Otway Fly Treetop Adventures and waterfalls just 30 minutes away. There are many waterfalls within easy driving distance. Apollo Bay is just an hours drive. Campfire and sitting area available for guests use, public toilets that are serviced three times a week and kept hygienically clean, located just 1000mtrs down the road. If you like a hit of tennis, there are two courts near the toilets and a community centre next to the CFA. This is all about being off the grid, soaking up nature and what this region has to offer. In addition to this wildlife, the natural landscape and scenery is one to behold, with lush green grass, waterfalls scattered around the area (including Erskine Falls just a 2 minute drive from the property) and the chance to cool off in the ocean with a short 10 minute drive into the township of Lorne. Your passage to Lorne is an extraordinary one to say the least, spoilt for choice with two incredible routes, the first is the unique and famous Great Ocean Road... exhibit beautiful waves, clear blue water and a road fit for a race-car track. The second route to Lorne is via small regional towns inland with endless rolling hills and healthy green landscapes as far as the eye can see and that's all before you hit Otway national park! This secluded property is special because it is situated in a remarkable position with the perks of both country and coastal living, not to mention unrivalled serenity... being 550m above sea level, snow isn't uncommon on the odd day during winter and surf is only 10 minutes away, so truly extraordinary. There are huge Trees approximately 200ft tall that tower over you in an area of the property we refer to as "valley of the kings" and some in excess of 300 years old. This private camp is located on beautiful open grassland just 25 minutes from Geelong, 35 minutes to the Spirit of Tasmania dock in Corio Quay, and 40 minutes from Melbourne. With no camping permitted at Anakie Gorge, our property gives you a tranquil overnight stay in direct proximity for an early start to the Anakie Gorge Walk without having to drive home at the end of the day. Choose from 3 carefully selected camp sites and set up base camp to enjoy day trips exploring the local wineries, such as del Rios, walking and cycling trails of the You Yangs State Park, and Serendip Wildlife Sanctuary, or as a convenient overnight stop on your way to explore the Great Ocean Road The camping area is easily accessed from maintained roads, where guests can drive in and park on the spacious lower paddock (no reversing or 3-point-turns necessary). As this beautiful, secluded location is off-grid, guests will need to be Self Contained (BYO toilet/shower) and Leave No Trace. If you would like to enjoy our property all to yourself, simply book two of the campsites, and send us a message and we will happily reserve the 3rd campsite for your group free of charge. We are happy to consider additional guests and up to 1 extra vehicle per campsite (camping with your friends, their kids and yours is more fun!) however, ensure to contact the Host to request and arrange this at the time of booking. We expect our guests to be quiet and respectful to neighbouring farming families/properties. Parties and large groups are strictly not permitted. We are currently in the Fire Danger Period, which means there are restrictions on what people legally can and can’t do with regard to outdoor fires (campfires, camp cooking, fires, BBQs, stoves) or anything that may produce a spark; campers may want to bring food/drink that doesn't require cooking or heating, or use the BBQs at the Anakie Gorge Picnic area IF conditions allow this. For specifics of what people are legally allowed to do or not do with regard to open air fires/cooking etc please read the information on the CFA Victoria website for fire warnings, fire bans ratings and restrictions and the "Can I? Can't I?" section for the Central region. Total Fire Ban Days: On total fire ban days strictly NO flames or sparks, no exceptions. For the safety of our guests, bookings falling on Catastrophic Fire Danger Rating days will be cancelled and campers will be reimbursed. Severe Weather and Bushfire: Please make yourself aware of bushfire or other severe weather warnings (e.g. ABC Emergency or Emergency Victoria) for UP-TO-DATE information, especially during the fire danger period. Safety and Hazards: You are responsible for your own safety and the safety of those in your care. One of the major features of this property is the adjoining outdoor entertaining deck complete with an outdoor dining table, commercial grade Christie BBQ, and million-dollar views! another 3 bedrooms! Bedroom one (1) has a double bed, Bedroom two(2) consists of 2 bunk beds a single bunk as well as a king single bunk, all bunks have full slumber mattresses and are strong enough for adults to gently sleep on and in case of extra guests we have provided two (2) foam mattresses under each bunk. Bedroom three (3) has a Queen bed with lumber support sleep-easy mattresses, ocean views can be seen from the lower level but not as well as upstairs. All Bedrooms have built-in wardrobes with extra blankets and pillows for comfort for our guests. Also a centrally located bathroom with shower and toilet. The downstairs living zone is spacious and an absolutely fantastic area for the kids to play or for those wanting some peace and quiet, complete with a large smart TV Adjoining this room is a kitchenette with a microwave, small fridge, crockery, utensils, kettle, toaster, and coffee pod machine. This is perfect for a couple of families or couples sharing the house providing a fully self-contained area allowing the ultimate in privacy. It also has a laundry with a washing machine, clothes dryer, iron, and ironing board. This property is truly unique, offering ocean views from the front of the property and then you step out the back into a tranquil bush setting. Hidden among the trees is an outside table entertainment area with a stunning swimming pool. Sea Paradise also offers reverse-cycle air conditioning/heating throughout. Plenty of parking with enough room in the driveway to park a boat and a number of cars. St Andrews Beach is a lovely quiet suburb with the convenience of having a superb cafe a 10 minute walk down Paradise drive along with a yoga and meditation retreat. Other close must visit places are a 5-minute drive to St Andrew's Brewery, and 10 minutes to Rye Hot Springs. 5 min walk you will also find access to the breathtaking ocean beach.

Pets allowed by agreement and must be on lead at all times. We have free range geese, chooks and a friendly dog There is no need for an alarm clock our Roosters have that covered.

Everything we could wish for in a HIP camp and more. Private, grassy site surrounded by lovely tall timber with the bonus of a classic corrugated tin bush shed open on two sides. When it rains we stoked up the fire, played cards and stayed toasty dry inside. Matt is a genial host, easy to contact, happy to help, happy to leave us to it.

Now Site 2 tucked away down the bottom of the property, plenty of room and privacy, close to the creek and overflow (very small) dam. Suited to those with 4x4 and just want piece and quite. Wel suited to familes, who like added privacy and extra shade.

Lovely spot, walkable back into the park for awesome hikes. Very quiet, plenty of space and great view. This mornings sunrise didn’t disappoint and was beautiful. Heard koalas, kookaburras and saw plenty of roos bounding about. Hopefully Paul can add some fire pits to allow fires during the winter nights and you then have a perfect spot to get away from the bustle of life.

Great little site with great access to Anakie Gorge (and only 100m from the Parks Victoria toilets). Nothing negative on the site, but on windless days, flies are out in force. Early mornings reward you with dozens and dozens of kangaroos to the east, and Koalas up the hill to the West!
