This was our second 🦊 Camp for our end of year celebrations at this spot. Great choicec once again. Secluded, quiet, well set out campsite to be able support a group of young guys have a great time to blow off a little steam at the end of a very busy year. BBQ'ing, swimming in the fantastic billabong, camp fires, beer, whiskey, music, impromptu cricket match and lots of laughs were had by all. We had a wonderful time at Susan's campsite. The location is stunning and the campsite is very well equipped with an outdoor kitchen area, a fire pit, an outdoor table and benches and a hut with a table and chairs. The hut was perfect for playing cards while it was raining. Also the campsite is very private. We fell in love with the landscape: green rolling hills, gorgeous-looking cows, and pristine rainforest. Thank you Susan for sharing your beautiful property. And being able to bring our dog was a big +. We will be back. The toolshed at Noojie is a great spot to have dinner. ❤️🐮🦆

Weekend Trip to Russie's Farm Stay

We loved staying at Russie's. We were given a warm welcome on arrival and taken to the paddock. It was so relaxing, you cannot hear any traffic at all, only the sounds of the birds. It was a complete getaway while still being close enough to home. We will definitely be back to visit again. I highly recommend staying here.

The campsites are scattered across lovely gently rolling fields and all have a fire pit and a view (either down the valley or across the dam). We had Site 2 looking over the dam which was great and must be stunning in summer and if the dam is full. Access is easy and well sign posted.

2 nights at Whispering Gums

A beautiful and peaceful spot. Susan was a fantastic host, thoughtful, kind and responsive. I was even gifted some homemade chilli jam and eggs. I spent 2 nights here just cooking on the fire, watching the wildlife by the pond including a wide variety of bird life and a fox. The set up has everything you need- camp toilet, mud kitchen, table and chairs and even a hut to have shelter in the rain. Plenty of fallen kindling to be collected if needed. Will return to explore some of the walking tracks. So nice to be able to have a solo getaway and not have to share the campsite with anyone, but feel totally safe. Just a short drive into town. Highly recommend.

First awake at camp is a special time. Day breaks with the chorus of waterhen, Wonga Pigeon and kookaburra, backed by pobblebonk and the odd snuffling of the cows. Alone? Not with this crowd 🤩.

It was pure joy to wake up on Miller's farm. The rooster heralded dawn - better than any alarm clock. That inspired the chorus of birdsong; kookaburras, cockatoos, wattlebirds, magpies, currawongs. That in turn encouraged the sheep - they started their day bleating for their feathered friends to join them. Farmer Anne let the feathers free and mayhem reigned. Chooks, turkeys and the sole duck running around chatting with excitement at the new day. The goats and alpacas were pretty happy to say hi too. How lucky were we to be part of it. Highly recommend Miller's Camp - check in was easy. Communication great. Anne was lovely. Camp kitchen was a bonus. Great stay. Thankyou.

Great place to camp and lovely people. Unfortunately we had to leave early because of the weather. But will definitely return.

Weekend Trip to Millers Farm "The Hills are alive"

Our stay at Miller’s farm had been nothing but wonderful! Kate and the whole family, especially Anne, were the best hosts! The hospitality, accommodation, and friendliness were top-notch. It was really lovely and relaxing to watch both the farm animals and the wildlife. We’ll definitely come back next time.
