Camp and fish just a stonesthrow from one of Tasmania's most stunning natural landscapes, Cradle Mountain. Here you'll find nature at its best, just 10 minutes drive from the Cradle Mountain Visitors centre, the perfect base for discovering this magical area.
Our campsites are on scenic, levelled areas overlooking the large dam and bushland, with grassed areas ideal for tents and camper-vans, and a portaloo a short walk away. The block is a natural timber and grassland block, with devils, quolls and wombats also residing here. We have one powered site available, and multiple unpowered sites.
There is a lovely walking track around the dams periphery. Feed fish from the edge, spot platypus frolicking about, and keep your eye out for Peacocks wandering the property too. Whilst you are welcome to bring your dog with you, please ensure they don't harass the wildlife.

Guests are welcome to wander the farm, meet our animals, and soak in the peaceful rural setting. You may spot wallabies at dusk, hear owls at night, or watch the Clydesdales grazing at sunrise. Kids especially love getting involved at feeding time or saying hello to the curious goats and chickens.
Facilities are simple but clean and include a toilet, water, firepits (seasonal use), and waste bins. Our property is pet-friendly with prior approval – dogs must be on a lead at all times due to livestock.
You’ll also find a small farmgate stall on-site selling fresh eggs, seasonal produce, flowers, seedlings, and animal manure for the garden. Depending on the time of year, we occasionally offer horse grooming demos or educational farm experiences – just ask what’s happening during your stay!

Arion Park – A Unique Farmstay Experience in Yolla, Tasmania
Escape to the peace and beauty of Arion Park, a 55-acre working farm nestled in the lush green hills of Yolla, North West Tasmania. Our Hipcamp offers a unique opportunity to stay amongst friendly farm animals, wide open paddocks, and fresh country air – all just a short drive from Burnie and Boat Harbour Beach.
Set up camp in a quiet, grassy paddock surrounded by Clydesdale horses, Highland cows, alpacas, goats, sheep, chickens, and abundant local wildlife. Whether you’re in a tent, camper, or self-contained caravan, our sites are flat, spacious, and family-friendly, offering plenty of room to relax and reconnect with nature.
Guests are welcome to wander the farm, meet our animals, and soak in the peaceful rural setting. You may spot wallabies at dusk, hear owls at night, or watch the Clydesdales grazing at sunrise. Kids especially love getting involved at feeding time or saying hello to the curious goats and chickens.
Facilities are simple but clean and include a toilet, water, firepits (seasonal use), and waste bins. Our property is pet-friendly with prior approval – dogs must be on a lead at all times due to livestock.
You’ll also find a small farmgate stall on-site selling fresh eggs, seasonal produce, flowers, seedlings, and animal manure for the garden. Depending on the time of year, we occasionally offer horse grooming demos or educational farm experiences – just ask what’s happening during your stay!

Scott is a great host and you can tell he really cares about his guests.
Absolutely gorgeous grounds, loved the fire pits, toilets were spotless, many free BBQs scattered all over the campsite for use, garbage bins provided, and there is spring water that you can boil. Only downside is no showers.
It can get busy but as long as you expect this to be more like a caravan park / popular national park camp ground than and quiet little retreat your expectations will be met.
It is pricey for no showers but it's the cheapest in the area so I think it reflects the location.

Crayfish Creek is absolutely beautiful.
The surroundings are peaceful and very scenic, and the river is crystal clear and so refreshing — perfect for relaxing and spending time in nature.
