The water is pumped from a springfed dam and mostly gravity-ed.
It's a little like McDonald's Farm, an array of birds and animals.
There's an orchard, hothouse and a Raspberry patch which may be my favourite spot when they're fruiting.
It really is an amazing lifestyle, peaceful, relaxing and rewarding.

I started living here permanently seven years ago, most of the property's out dwellings and the Cabin is built from recycled, reclaimed materials or been handed down.
I am fully off the grid and in the process of trying to become self-sufficient.
The water is pumped from a springfed dam and mostly gravity-ed.
It's a little like McDonald's Farm, an array of birds and animals.
There's an orchard, hothouse and a Raspberry patch which may be my favourite spot when they're fruiting.
It really is an amazing lifestyle, peaceful, relaxing and rewarding.

I loved camping at Marleens place! Awesome views of the surrounding area, lovely facilities that are a bit of a walk from the campsite but allow you to explore the farm a bit, very nice and welcoming host and Benny the dog was adorable! If we're back in the area we'll 100% be back at Marleens place.

We don’t usually do caravan parks but booked here after arriving in Tassie from the ferry as we wanted a guaranteed spot for the night, being December peak season. Excellent location and value for money. The lady at reception was super helpful with recommendations for things to do in the area. Just note reception closes at 6pm, not 10pm (currently listed on Hipcamp).

One of the most beautiful camping spots I’ve ever stayed at. The views are absolutely incredible and make the experience truly special. The bathroom was spotless and even equipped with a washing machine, which was a huge plus. On top of that, the owners were incredibly kind and welcoming. I couldn’t recommend this place more.

Heaven on Earth. A quiet, tucked away spot, with babbling brook, green pastures, kookaburras and lots of shade. The location is central (1 hour to Cradle Mountain, 20 mins to Burnie, or stay on site forever - it's that nice). The caretakers keep the place looking amazing all year round, and are the friendliest bunch. Bathroom and shower are regularly cleaned. You have to check this spot out on your next camping trip.
