Welcome to Sherwood River Camp, our self contained camping grounds with access to the Wild Mersey MTB trails. The camp grounds are located just 8 minutes from Latrobe and 15 minutes from Devonport.The camping area is located on the banks of the Mersey River where you can enjoy your favourite water activities or just relax by the water side and enjoy the sounds of nature.Campers must be self contained with their own camping toilet and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. Pets are welcome but please keep them under control. We have rain water available as well.We recommend a 4x4 vehicle when towing caravans as the driveway to the property is gravel and on a hill.This is a working farm so please have respect for the host property and livestock.$10 per person, per night. Kids under 12 are free so don't put them as part of your booking.

We are located on 25 acres of serene, private bush and pasture that bounds the Narawntapu National Park. We have a beautiful beach that's only a 3-5 minute walk away.Our property offers lots of space for you to choose the ideal private spot. Take advantage of the beautiful views or if you prefer, choose a spot that is more sheltered.  Guests are required to fully self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure.Campfires are allowed when there are no restrictions in place and you can bring your own fire pit. You can help yourself to fallen kindling around the property but please BYO firewood and do not fell any of our trees.Pets are allowed but as our neighbours have sheep please ensure they are kept restrained and under your control at all times. Please clean up after your pets.Across the road is a beautiful beach for swimming, fishing, picnicking and relaxing. There are great National Park walking tracks with stunning coastal views close by for guests to explore. You will need a Parks Pass to do this and they can be purchased online.

Located at Sheffield, the town of murals, is our home, Almost Heaven Clydesdales. We are based on a 50-acre working Beef cattle stud. You'll find lots of quiet pets to pat, farm experiences, and an assortment of activities. A wonderful green space to recharge, reflect and recoup with big open spaces to camp on level ground, with brilliant stars at night and beautiful vistas during the day. We have on offer produce to pick from the market garden (seasonal), admire our lovely stud cattle as they roam about their day, help feed the chooks and collect fresh eggs, or watch our beautiful Clydesdales being worked or relaxing in the paddocks after hours. We offer grassy, level paddocks for campers, where you are welcome to choose your own spot to set up, ensuring your privacy. All campers must be self-sufficient, with their own toilet and we kindly ask you to take all waste with you. There is a dump station in town. Walking distance to the Sheffield township, with beautiful bakeries and coffee shops. Optional Extras for a cost Horse Drawn Wagon Tours and Self Care Of Silence Sessions with quiet pets. At Hill Top Farm Meander we run beef cattle and five working draught horses. Our property boasts commanding views of Huntsman lake , the Great Western Tiers and Meander Valley. The surrounding mountains create a dramatic backdrop for Hill Top Farm. Our farm displays an abundance of natural beauty, with crystal clear springs and a diversity of mature and rare forest timbers. There are numerous well known walks to do nearby, Meander Falls, Mother Cummings Peak and Smoko Falls to name a few. Huntsman Lake is a great favourite of fly fishermen and kayakers alike, there is also a very pleasant picnic grounds there, swimming hole and boat ramp. The village of Meander is 4 kms away offering a wonderful cafe , where the staff are friendly and the hamburgers , coffee and cakes are fantastic. As we have no facilities on our farm yet, so we ask that all campers must be fully self contained, with their own toilet , water and power.

The property is partly cleared and partly forested and is situated on, and surrounded by, a bend in the Mersey River in the shadow of Tulumpanga (the Gog Range). Stooge Farm is home to abundant wildlife including wallabies, echidna, wombats and a healthy population of platypus which can often be sighted at dusk along the river. Embrace rest, swimming, canoeing, fishing, barbequeeing, bushwalking, birdwatching in the lost world of Stooge Farm Tasmania Only 20 minutes from the lovely regional town of Deloraine where you can stock up on supplies, enjoy a good coffee and the many amenities and historic streetscapes. It is a great launching place for all kinds of nature-based activities such as bushwalking, white-water rafting, rock-climbing, mountain biking and more. As well as camping, it is also available to rent for a variety of purposes; as the ultimate fishing retreat, for wedding, birthday and other significant life events, as a yoga, meditation and lifestyle retreat, or simply the ultimate holiday destination. This is such a special place that you really need to come and experience it for yourself to believe it. We await your visit. *Some important notes before you book: - Campers must have their own toilet and must remove all waste and rubbish. Dogs are welcome but must be leashed at all time. - River water is available but drink at own risk. - We recommend a strong vehicle, and a 4WD when towing caravans as the road in is steep. - This is a quiet peaceful place, and to respect the wildlife and other campers we have a strictly no generators, amplified music or unnecessary noise. We will have to ask you to remove your dog if it barks. - Please exercise extreme caution with fires as we are in a high risk area. Keep your fire small and in the fireplaces provided; put your fire out if there is no one attendance. No fires during windy conditions or days or fire ban. It is your responsibility to monitor and assess local conditions and fire regulations.
