Cethea was a great place to camp nr Cradle mountain. I booked on the day and was really impressed by the kitchen facilities, power outlets and hot showers. It was winter and cold and I was really touched at being offered a hot water bottle and felt very looked after. 100% recommend.

Beautiful spot down by the river, amongst the trees. Peaceful and relaxing. The added bonus of a hot shower is a real kicker in winter. Only 15 minutes to Penguin means you can duck out for anything forgotten or a bite to eat. We will be back.

great camping spot! with a nice clean toilet and hot shower, only a short walk away. there is a stunning view of cradle mountain from the site as well!! super quiet and private with little to no traffic through the road, would recommend! they also have a little honesty shelf near the bathroom, with products from the herb farm! super cute

1 night at Mount Gnomon Farm

The is awesome its for camping. The best part you can see the stars as well as milky ways but if you love dogs this the place for you if you don’t its not( might be seasonal) we visited in winter.

1 night at Blythe River Campground

Had a great stay here! Nice and flat and lots of room (we were the only ones there lol)! Hot showers were a gem - all the facilities (washing up sink, toilets and shower) were clean and well maintained. I would definitely stay here again.

2 nights at Mount Gnomon Farm

We loved our stay at My Gnomon Farm - perched on a nice flat grassy area, with views to the ocean and a backdrop of mountains. Such a beautiful and peaceful place and a great farm experience for the kids. The campsite is near the cow and sheep paddock and we had a hen and her chicks wander through our campsite, and a few little piglets running around. We also enjoyed strolling through the apple orchard and flower garden by day and sitting around our campfire at night with a sky full of stars overhead. It’s dog-friendly too, with Remy the farm dog befriending our dog during our stay. The restaurant wasn’t open during our mid-week stay but it looks like an incredible venue, so will make sure when we come back it will be on a weekend! They are planning to build a shower for campers (in addition to the flushing toilets they already have on site) which will make it an even more comfortable stay.

This was a lovely little spot, and the toilets and showers were a nice feature! There are fire pits at every site, the sites are quite close together but still allow for privacy and enough room to set up properly 😊

Great location at the confluence of Adam’s Creek and Blythe River. Camping in a lightly timbered, semi open area. Toilet and shower on site with hot water also available at the ‘kitchen sink’.

4 nights at Blythe River Campground

As described in just about every review, this is an absolutely lovely campsite by the river with the added bonus of a great toilet and shower facility. We enjoyed 3 days of wonderful camping with a terrific bunch of fellow campers over the Easter break. Unfortunately we also had one night of absolute mayhem due to the extraordinarily drunken and abusive behaviour from a group who arrived on the Sat. night. Without a doubt the worst behaviour we have ever experienced on our camping trips so far. They were kicked out the next day but that was a totally sleepless and stressful night that overshadowed the rest of our stay.

The camping site is located in a beautiful location overlooking the lavender fields, in bloom december/january, with the ever-changing Mt Roland in the background. On days with cold southerly winds, alternative campingsites are available on the farm. Please contact us to find out. Includes use flushing toilet, hot shower and laundry (external access). Approx. 300m from the campsite. We are pet friendly. We've got room for up to 5 separate bookings. Due to shortage of personnel, we can no longer offer the farm tours. Hope this will change coming season 2024/25. But hipcampers are welcome to have a walk on the farm. We are working together with other organic certified farmers. They lease parts of our land to grow vegetables. Hipcampers are welcome to have a walk around their crops as well. Big news: we have started to build a tearoom with possibilities to organise herbal workshops and give education about growing and using medicinal herbs. . It will also have a shop and space to enjoy light refreshments, organic coffee, chocolate, juice and herbal tea. Extra bathroomfacilities will be available to our hipcampers only.
