Our property is located in the rocky outcrops of the Bremer Ranges and is on the Bremer River in Rockleigh. This site was once a overnight yard for the sheep farmers who were passing through the area. We have three separate locations for campers to choose from. The Gums- surrounded by small gum trees right near the Bremer River. The Carob- this site is situated further back from the river and is surrounded by mulberry trees. Lastly we have The Sticks- this site is behind the scrubby bushed and requires tight access and is more suited to tents and swags. The decent into camp is quite narrow and steep so please drive carefully. We are 45 minute drive from the Lavender Federation Trail which is a popular walking track in the region. We are only 30 minutes drive from Monarto Conservation Park which is a popular spot for walking trails and picnics. Monarto is also home to a Safari Park which is the largest Safari Park in Australia and home to lots of interesting animals. We have 2 toilets available but please BYO toilet paper. Sorry, no pets. Please note that Pymbroke is in the Murraylands zone & fire danger season starts early. 1st November 2025.

We run a sheep and cropping farm which creates beautiful camping grounds at the foot of the hills, just below the Heysen Trail. The campsites are located on the pasture paddocks of the farm with sheep roaming the area, so dogs on leashes at all times, and please pick up after them. With large distances between other campers, each site can cater for large groups, with no close neighbours. The sites are at least 2km away from busy roads, so absolute peace and privacy! There's a beautiful push bike ride from Riverton to Clare Valley and all the wineries are along the way. Plenty of room at the property for kids to ride their push bikes. Fantastic sunsets and sunrises from all sites, and at its best at the SUNSET BAA. Beautiful bird noises, including the kookaburras having a laugh. There's a very very basic "long drop toilet" pit toilet located near the Gumtree paddock and 5 others shared, down close to the camping paddocks, if not wanting to use shared toilets, please bring and supply your own portable toilet. Flat cropping and grazing property with a rise up at the Eastern end where a native forest and scrub exists. There are two creek lines joining to make a single stream with four dams also on the property. Potential for vineyard and with an airfield close by and a quality dirt road running along the Western boundary and a surveyed road along the northern boundary this site makes for easy walking and is within short distances to some of the best cellar doors in the Barossa. Kaiser Stuhl National Park is only a short drive away over the lookout at Mengler’s Hill and the Heyson Trail runs through the hill at the Eastern end. Permission may be needed to access other private properties adjoining, however. Wineries close by include Jacob’s Creek Visitors Centre, Rockfords, Grant Burge Cellar Door, St Hugo’s, Charles Melton, Moorooroo Cellar Door or Jacob’s Creek Retreat. Tanunda is only a 5-10 min drive away where a great range of food outlets and a wider range of cellar doors exist. The helpful staff at the Visitor’s Centre in Murray St can assist with answering questions and most services are catered for in the town’s centre. This site’s location lends itself to quite short or long term stays with close access to the fruits of the Barrosa. There are recharge and excellent public facilities at the Visitor Centre and links to Barossa Balloon Adventures if desired. There are no facilities, so campers must be 100% self-contained, taking all waste and rubbish with them when they leave.

Pindari Park is a beautiful 130 acre CLIFF TOP property that offers both North and South views of the River Murray. Situated on the western bank (cliff side) overlooking the most Northerly point of the river and the township of Cadell SA. Our property does have a rocky underlay, due to the cliff, recommended that drill tent pegs are used. ALL CAMPERS ARE TO BRING THEIR OWN FIREWOOD, NO COLLECTION OF FIREWOOD ALLOWED ON THE PROPERTY. Pindari means “From the high ground” from the aboriginal origin and was originally apart of the Nor’ West Bend Station (est. 1850) that stretched from Overland Corner to Burra. The Nor’ West Bend Station next door is now a heritage listed private residence. With Pindari Park’s scattered native trees, saltbush and mallee shrubs bringing an abundance of wildlife to the property, sit back, relax and enjoy the serenity. While you sit at the camps sites, enjoy watching the Cadell Ferry, appreciate birds and wildlife, or just enjoy the river boats on their journey up or down our mighty River Murray. You just might be able to catch one of the cruise boats or paddle steamers cruise past, make sure you give them a wave as they pass by. Pindari Park has many gravel roads and tracks to follow for taking a hike/walk, however, please note that this property is on a cliff, therefore it may not be suitable for young children and caution must be taken at all times. Each campsite has a fire pit area that can be used during May to October each year (fire ban period is November to April each year). Pindari Park is a beautiful 130 acre CLIFF TOP property that offers both North and South views of the River Murray. Situated on the western bank (cliff side) overlooking the most Northerly point of the river and the township of Cadell SA. Our property does have a rocky underlay, due to the cliff, recommended that drill tent pegs are used. ALL CAMPERS ARE TO BRING THEIR OWN FIREWOOD, NO COLLECTION OF FIREWOOD ALLOWED ON THE PROPERTY. We offer a wide grassy area peppered with trees, ideal for a relaxing spacious camp. No toilet facilities onsite so campers must be self-contained. Our site is located along the Lavender Federation Walking Trail. 7km from Springton General Store where you can pick up all basic supplies including fuel and simple takeaway meals, or Springton pub across the road has pub meals. 25 mins to Angaston (with the Barossa Valley Cheese Company) and the wider Barossa area. 30 mins the other direction to Woodside (where you will find Melba’s chocolate factory) and the greater Adelaide hills. 25mins to the Birdwood Motor Museum 30mins to the Big Rocking Horse in Gumeracha where you can climb the Big Rocking Horse for $2. 15km to Eagle View 4WD Track (Sanderston) If you’re here on a Saturday morning the Mount Pleasant Farms Markets (8am-12), 10 mins down the road is a great place to pick up some fresh produce and a coffee. Mannum Waterfalls - 30 mins drive is a beautiful spot for a walk.

When you stay, be sure to visit the Tilbrook Estate Cellar Door - both the food and the wines are sensational. Try the Reserve Shiraz if you enjoy red! The local village of Lobethal was great (good coffee; brewery etc) and a short drive to other beautiful spots.

Super peaceful and a great setting. Linda sent a lot of really handy info and tips - unfortunately time was against us on the first day, and the weather was against us on the second. But that didn’t detract from this fantastic spot. There are two flat, open sites. We chose the first because the fire pit was further away from the grass, and the olive grove provided a bit more shelter. The site is super tranquil… the only sounds were those of all the birds (and a rather vocal koala), yet it’s just a few minutes easy drive from Tanunda and even walking distance from some wineries. I’ll definitely be back to explore more of Linda’s local food and wine recommendations.

We loved camping at God’s Hill. A quick 50min trip from the city to a beautiful location. The stunning vista over vines and rolling hills made the most relaxing stay. A nice walk into to town for a brewery stop and a quick drive to Tanunda for a browse of the shops. The best part was being able to walk up to the restaurant for delicious wood oven pizzas, antipasto and beautiful wines. Charlie and co hosted us wonderfully. Highly recommend for self sufficient campers. We booked the Wally site and toilet is about 150mtr from camp spot, behind the restaurant. The site is maintained beautifully. We had it to ourselves with friends which made it wonderful. Thank you Charlie and co for opening up your beautiful site and looking after us. Such a relaxing weekend away.

We recently stayed at Tilbrook Estate Vineyard. While the campground could have used a bit of a mow, the beautiful views from the campsite made up for it. Annabelle’s warm and welcoming manner set the tone for a lovely visit, and our meal at Pica Pica restaurant was an absolute highlight — incredible food paired with a delicious sangria that quickly became a favourite. Overall, the stunning setting, friendly hospitality, and fabulous dining made our stay truly worthwhile. 🍷✨

Awesome place to camp. Nice to find a place that has an abundance of bird life with no distractions. If you want a place to set up and just relax and enjoy without the hustle and bustle of camping then this is the spot. 14 km from Mannum so close enough to get more supplies or mingle with the locals and the variety of shops. Neil and Margaret are the hosts and made you feel really welcome and great conversations had. Long drop toilets are spotless and well maintained and cleaned. Had an absolutely fantastic time and now going to be my go to place where I can drive to close to Adelaide and unwind and get back to the bush. Been to a few off grid places over the past 12 months, Currawong Corner is my favourite and definitely be going back.

Cheryl 0421 521 733This 20 acre working property is dedicated to our horses, dogs, birds and relaxing!You are welcome to wander into the big paddock to access the walking trails and continue on to explore the scrub area where many native birds come and go including kookaburras.The line of trees planted in the gully area are dedicated koala forage trees so also wander down there and have a look and see if you can spot one.Your relaxed property walk will take you past paddocked sheep (they may run up to you if they think you have something for them to eat. Cut apples or carrots into pieces for them ) Rams and Whethers are together in their own paddock, alpacas and Bobby are in with the Ewes and any lambs at the time protecting them from predators in another paddock.There are horses, Dallas the mule (please do not enter their paddocks) , wild ducks at the dam, as well as our ducks and geese if they are out of their enclosure that day. There are raceways between all paddocks to continue your walk all around the property. Beware of the electric fencing though, it hurts if you touch it!We also have some very friendly chooks and turkeys that LOVE to say hello and be hand fed chopped up pieces of apple, carrot, grapes and especially watermelon! Feel free to give them any food scraps you might have. We also have a family of magpies will enjoy any meat scraps you leave for them too.Dallas, our mule is always up for a bit of attention and any apples or carrots you might like to share with him.Dallas is rather special as his dad is a "mammoth donkey" who has been imported from America. His mum is a stunning thoroughbred. Mammoth donkeys are a bigger/taller breed of donkey than Australian donkeys are. They are beginning to be used up north on stations instead of horses as mules are sturdier, more sure footed, not as flighty as horses so safer for stock men and women to use working with cattle. They can live into their late 30,s so have a longer working life as well. Dallas was born in 2023Campsites 1, 2 and 3 are on the right hand side as you drive in via the automatic opening gate which you will be given access to once we have added your mobile number to the system after you have booked. We are currently planting more native shrubs and trees in this area to encourage even more bird life plus provide future windbreaks and further divide sites. From this area you will see the most spectacular sunsets and be able to have an open campfire during winter season.The Dam It site, Tree line site and Solar paddock site are through another gate on the left hand side opposite site 3/ the paddock with the solar panels in it before you reach our residence, aviaries and toilet.It is also through this gate you go to access the walking trails.Besides sitting back relaxing reading a book with a nice local wine in your hand there are other nearby options to fill your days while staying on our property.Take a short drive down Goldsfield Rd to the Mining Museum and hiking trails. A few KM's towards Williamstown stop in and see the Whispering Wall, built between 1899 and 1903, for its time of construction the dam was deemed a revolutionary engineering marvel. Sounds and voices, even a whisper can be clearly heard at the other end of the dam more then 100 meters away.Continue on through Williamstown and hire a kayak and explore the Warren Reservoir with the resident pelicans. The Warren reservoir was built on the South Para River between 1914 and 1916. Mt Crawford forest is then another short drive on where you can hike, ride and picnic and be guaranteed to see kangaroos in their natural habitat.We are also ideally located being at the gateway to numerous wineries, take your e-bike and explore the towns in the Barossa Valley which are linked with rose lined bitumen trails, explore the shops, cafes and enjoy delectable food, stop in at the Lavender Farm, treat yourself to a scenic flights with Barossa Helicopters or challenge yourself at Barossa Bowland and fantastic themed Dinosaur mini golf just to name even more options!Less than 10 minute drive from our front gate will have you at the lovely town of Lyndoch where the local IGA is a handy stop for those emergency essentials as well as the local bakery, craft shop, pub, post office, Lord of Lyndoch restaurant, Table Cafe Kies winery for starters. 10 Minures the other direction will see you at a new suburb Springwood which has a variety of shops and a Chemist, couple minutes further will have you at the lovely town of Gawler. Whitefield Farm was originally settled by the Landers family in the 1890. It is located in the Barossa Ranges 450 m above sea level and is surrounded by vineyards and grazing properties. There is easy access to boutique wineries and the Kidman Trail runs right by the farm, allowing for hiking, riding, and driving, on miles of country tracks. There are stunning views wherever you look, with huge 400-year-old red gums, rolling pastures and ancient gnarled vines. Whitefield is a working farm that focuses on herd rotation and low input agriculture to build the fertile soils and maintain the environment without chemical inputs. Mypolonga is a small, diverse rural community (we won the Ag Town of the Year Award in 2022) between Murray Bridge and Mannum on the Murray River, with lots of birdlife. About 15 minutes up the road is Mannum Waterfalls - a beautiful place for enjoying nature, walking, climbing, and paddling in the rock pools. And, for interstate visitors, we are about an hour and a quarter from Victor Harbour, Adelaide, or the Barossa Valley. At Mypolonga Sunshine, I offer The Old Stone Dairy, a building that is over 100 years old and has been converted into a comfortable space to rest up for a night or several. It's not a luxury destination, but has a historic charm, and provides a farm-stay style experience. The property is 7 acres, and there are 3 horses, 2 dogs and 10 chooks also residing here. The site is suited to people who want a quiet secure base from which to explore the region. Camp site is fully fenced on 5 acres. No chemicals used on the block. The camp site is on a section of 5 acres of this property. Its location is approximately 5 min drive from the Murray River where you can enjoy boating, swimming, and fishing at Woodlane Reserve. Majestic river red gums in the area make for beautiful walks along the bitumen road as seen in the photos. Mypolonga is a small agricultural town. The location is reasonably quiet however at peak times you may be able to hear boats from the river, or the other agricultural pursuits on the farms. The location is approximately 20 km from Murray Bridge and 1 hour from Adelaide and the Barossa Valley. Monarto Safari Park is 25km away and there is private wetlands Paiwalla on the opposite side of the river which you visit by kayak/canoe or drive. We are currently not allowing children or dogs. Cats are acceptable. Potable water is available at the site. A small extra fee will be charged depending on your requirements. If you need a protected area for your gas burner cooking there is a solid brick room available also.

Downhill Run Camping is located due west of Robertstown at the peak of the hills, a beautiful spot for caravans, campers, tents and swags. Spanning 50 acres the campsite offers breath taking views of the entire valley and is located directly on the lavender walking trail. There is a shared basic long drop toilet located near the south site but feel free to bring self contained units or find a nice tree! The campsites are located at the top of the hills in a pasture paddock so please make sure your dogs are on leashes at all times. The 2 sites are separated by a fair distance so there is plenty of room to enjoy for everyone even with large groups. A perfect spot to pitch a tent and admire the beautiful starry nights on the secluded hilltop The Clare and Barossa Valleys are only a short 45 minute drive away if you’re interested in a day out at the wineries. Or the lovely historic town of Burra is a 30 minute drive. The campsite is also conveniently located on the lavender trail which provides great scenery walks or cycles taking in the amazing view. There is a great Pub located in Robertstown which has cold beer and meals on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights if you are looking to get out of cooking for the night. The post office is also a great spot to duck in for a coffee and a chat to the locals. Whether it’s the breathtaking sunrise, the stargazing, the walking trails or bumping into a friendly kangaroo or 2 this campsite will not disappoint. There are two creek lines joining to make a single stream with four dams also on the property. Potential for vineyard and with an airfield close by and a quality dirt road running along the Western boundary and a surveyed road along the northern boundary this site makes for easy walking and is within short distances to some of the best cellar doors in the Barossa. Kaiser Stuhl National Park is only a short drive away over the lookout at Mengler’s Hill and the Heyson Trail runs through the hill at the Eastern end. Permission may be needed to access other private properties adjoining, however. Wineries close by include Jacob’s Creek Visitors Centre, Rockfords, Grant Burge Cellar Door, St Hugo’s, Charles Melton, Moorooroo Cellar Door or Jacob’s Creek Retreat. Tanunda is only a 5-10 min drive away where a great range of food outlets and a wider range of cellar doors exist. The helpful staff at the Visitor’s Centre in Murray St can assist with answering questions and most services are catered for in the town’s centre. This site’s location lends itself to quite short or long term stays with close access to the fruits of the Barrosa. There are recharge and excellent public facilities at the Visitor Centre and links to Barossa Balloon Adventures if desired. We run a sheep and cropping farm which creates beautiful camping grounds at the foot of the hills, just below the Heysen Trail. The campsites are located on the pasture paddocks of the farm with sheep roaming the area, so dogs on leashes at all times, and please pick up after them. With large distances between other campers, each site can cater for large groups, with no close neighbours. The sites are at least 2km away from busy roads, so absolute peace and privacy! There's a beautiful push bike ride from Riverton to Clare Valley and all the wineries are along the way. Plenty of room at the property for kids to ride their push bikes. Fantastic sunsets and sunrises from all sites, and at its best at the SUNSET BAA. Beautiful bird noises, including the kookaburras having a laugh. There's a very very basic "long drop toilet" pit toilet located near the Gumtree paddock and 5 others shared, down close to the camping paddocks, if not wanting to use shared toilets, please bring and supply your own portable toilet.
