21 acres of pasture and bushland/forest located 15 minutes from Maleny in the Sunshine Coast hinterland. Easy access to the national parks around Conondale and Kenilworth for bushwalking and 4wding. Cedar creek runs through the property. Campsite is situated right on the creek. Pitch your tent or park your camper trailer at the bottom of the property next to Cedar creek. Space offers great privacy. Walk to the top of the hill for great views of the valley or hike up the creek to find a swimming hole. Arrival will be meet and greet if I’m around or straight to camp if I’m not. Dogs allowed off leash but best to put back on the leash if cows are around. Guests must be full self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste with them on departure. Campfires are welcome in the fire pit provided.

Just so you know when booking that the camp ground does have a road running past it. The camp is surrounded by beautiful farm land and the Bellthorpe Ranges. Pitch a tent or bring your caravan or camper, sit back and relax around the fire pit or have a sit in the creek to cool off and enjoy the serenity. Lovely shady spot in summer. It is located just 15kms north of Toowoomba. Our property is part of the Highfields Pioneer Village* complex located just 20 minutes from Toowoomba. This campsite is a wonderful place to rest whilst taking in the scenic surroundings of the village which is the home of the Big Cow. Visit the Toowoomba Fire Brigade Museum which houses an historic collection of memorabilia, documenting the story of the people who have worked every day to keep us safe from fires since 1877. The collection includes Uniforms, Badges & patches, historical records & photographs and over 6 Historic Fire Engine Vehicles, Apparatus, Models & Collectibles. Visit the iconic Ambulance Museum that tells the story of Ambulance services in Queensland. We are within easy reach of Highland Falls which has some great walking tracks and view points of the falls. Pets are also permitted in this bushland area but must be on a leash. We are just 3 mins from local shops, McDonald's, KFC. This is the perfect spot for those who want to wind down and escape the hustle and bustle. We have amenities available and pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash at all times. Sorry, no campfires. Bush Camping. The Cafe onsite is now open on Friday, Saturday and Sundays. *Tickets to the Village are optional and can be purchased onsite from the Kiosk. Recommended time to view the Pioneer Village is at least 2 hours. The Pioneer Village complex is open from 10am to 4pm Daily. Glossary of Terms: Potable Water: means drinking water in a jug, bucket or other pot, it does not mean water hook up. We are Bush Camping we do not provide water hook up, sorry. Great cabins in a peaceful spot beside a creek. I stayed there on my own as a mini-retreat and it was perfect. Jimmy was very kind and helpful and respectful of my space. I'd be very happy to stay there again.

Good access with our camper van with great directions given by Todd because, as he said, GPS would take you to the main house. Perfect spot with campfire spot and lovely running creek with small swimming hole deep enough to get a good dunk. Very private with just the company of grazing cattle. Our dogs absolutely loved their time here, as we did.

What an amazing place to stay. The house's were very nice. We stayed 2 nites and it was just so relaxing. The creek behind was great to take our chairs to and sit in. Wasn't much water as not much rain but was still beautiful. We definitely will be back

Great little getaway. Beautiful spot. Very private. Kids had a blast splashing in the creek. Lots of birdlife and some friendly neighbouring cattle. Great location between Maleny and Kenilworth if wanting to do day trips.

Easy access camp site nestled amongst little rocky creeks and green pastures. So much nice space for our two dogs to explore safely off lead. Some nice swimming holes for dogs to have a dip in. Great fire pit.

Jimmy the host was welcoming and his directions clear. The camping area includes open grass areas as well as shaded tent sites close to the creek. There's a great variety of birds and some nocturnal native animals around the creek.

The firepit area is shady during the day and close to the creek. Lots of birdlife and we spotted possums, marsupial mice, platypus and wallabies. Host Jimmy is very helpful and welcoming and his directions are clear.

Peaceful rural setting, plenty of space, old but clean amenities. Pay entry to the village once, and were able to re-enter every day during our stay. Fantastic historic village - sooo much to see! MUST see is the transport museum, but everything very interesting. Would definitely come again. Probably not when as cold at night as last week!
