One booking covers 4 people (no matter how many set ups/caravans/tents you have) You can pick wherever in the paddock that you'd like to set up - there are no pre allocated spots and you will be able to pick a private spot. Take a stroll through the olive grove and set up a picnic amongst the trees! Olive View Estate is a stunning 35 acre 700 tree working olive farm and guest stay accommodation. We have two paddocks on the back of the olive grove with breath-taking views. Enjoy a walk through our gardens and olive grove. You are welcome to roam our entire property - we just suggest wearing enclosed shoes. We have some very friendly farm animals - Olly the goat. Barb, Shaun, Dodge, Daisy, Duke, Georgie, Gracie and babies Leslie & Bo who all love carrots and apples. This is a full working farm and we restore vintage caravans and classic cars. You will see us pottering in the garden or walking our poodle, but we will leave you to your privacy. We have a beautiful vintage bus that we have converted into a farm shop and you can buy olives, relishes, honey, jam, seasonings, magnesium and more. We welcome small gatherings to celebrate birthdays, engagements or function (Christmas etc) just let us know during the booking process. We would appreciate quiet after 10pm. We are only 8 minutes from shops in town and a short drive for all of the Scenic Rim's attractions. We are in the heart of The Scenic Rim. The camping grounds is private and picturesque in our back paddocks - looking back over our olive grove and out to the great dividing range. We have fire pits set up in the camp area - please bring an extinguisher, wood and matches. The camp grounds has an easy access and campers have had no issues levelling out on the gentle slope or go higher up the paddock to the trees and the ground is level with the best views of the mountain ranges. Olive View Farm is ideal for self sufficient campers. At the front of the property near the bus shop we have permanent picnic tables set up for anyone to use. Dogs on a lead are welcome - we have lots of Kangaroos and Wallabies and we want to protect them. We are always on site and happy to help with anything you need. *Please note any negative feedback for camping received was from a festival that took place on our property in 2022 and the event organisers promised the campers facilities and did not deliver. Unfortunately Hipcamp won't remove these comments and we had no management of these customers. ALL other positive comments are through us direct.

Camp trailers, Vans, Camper vans, Roof pop tops, Off-road camp trailers, Expedition trailers, All-terrain vans. Arriving in daylight is highly recommended. If it has rained near the time of your booking, a 4WD is recommended especially if you are towing. Not suitable for caravans unless you are highly proficient in reversing your rig 60m uphill. Reversing and pulling into the site as noted in photos is the best way to utilise the site. Trust us, we know! If you lack confidence in doing so, kindly consider alternative options. The illustrated caravan in the photo is 5 meters. Campers must be fully self-contained with their own camping toilet. Please refrain from arriving and asking where the bathroom facilities are. Access to the campsites is a short distance off the Cunningham Highway gate entry. Preference is for 4WD vehicles and limited access by 2WD. Offroad RV length is limited to under 20ft. The type of vehicle and RV will dictate where your campsite would be located. Pets are welcome (dogs, cats, birds, reptiles) but must stay within the camp sites and be restrained by owners. We welcome self-contained campers who bring their own camping amenities. These are off grid camp grounds with a picnic table, braziers and camp bin available for communal use. Firewood of various types can be found along the creek with the option to purchase firewood from our stock.

WILDLIFE SPOTTING Situated at 43m above sea level, our land boasts a rich abundance of native plants and wildlife. Marvel at the sight of gorgeous and rare parrots, swamp-faced and golden wallabies, koalas, bush-turkeys, possums, water dragons, and echidnas – a testament to our proud position within a vital conservation area. TO SEE AND DO Explore the winding Currumbin Valley and uncover its hidden gems. Take a trip to the beach, home to the renowned Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. Nearby attractions include the Rock Pools, Elephant Rock, Balter Brewing Company, Freeman's Organic Farm, Superbee Honeyworld, Surf World Gold Coast, Sanctuary Markets (Friday night food trucks), and Currumbin Alley Surf School, to name just a few. Indulge in the abundance of delicious cafes just minutes down the road. AMENITIES AND THINGS TO NOTE Prior to booking, please review all site photos. This will help you to decide if our site is a right fit for your needs. The site has an 11% off-level terrain. Assistance aids for levelling your vehicle are available. While tents are welcome, please be aware that the ground is hard gravel and 11% off-level. Most suited to 4WD. Camp trailers, Vans, Camper vans, Roof pop tops, Off-road camp trailers, Expedition trailers, All-terrain vans. Arriving in daylight is highly recommended. If it has rained near the time of your booking, a 4WD is recommended especially if you are towing. Not suitable for caravans unless you are highly proficient in reversing your rig 60m uphill. Reversing and pulling into the site as noted in photos is the best way to utilise the site. Trust us, we know! If you lack confidence in doing so, kindly consider alternative options. The illustrated caravan in the photo is 5 meters. Campers must be fully self-contained with their own camping toilet. Please refrain from arriving and asking where the bathroom facilities are. Domestic power (not 3-phase) and cold town water are provided. Leashed small dogs are permitted; however, pet waste must be promptly removed. Campfires are allowed in the provided fire drum unless there is a local fire ban in place. Bring your own firewood for a cozy evening under the stars.

Riversong - Floating Tree Tent

A beautiful piece of remnant forest on the bank of the Nerang River, with a swimming hole that is second to none. The tree tent is situated in a small forest clearing overlooking the river rapids. The site has a compact outdoor kitchen complete with refrigerator, an outdoor hot shower, a firepit and a separate composting toilet. Sails are rigged above the tent to provide extra shade and shelter. It's private and shady but only a few minutes from the house. The valley is a gem, only 200 odd people live here. If you love the outdoors - either just to chill or to actively recreate - this place is for you. As an outdoor educator, I have worked and played in the valley and surrounds for more than 25 years and I'm still discovering new things to see and do! Advancetown Lake is a short drive away with paddling, sailing and fishing and no power boats or jetskis (Yeeha!!) There is a mountain bike park on the E side of the dam. You can walk from here to Springbrook and Lamington National Parks and the glow worms at Natural Bridge are a night time "must see".

Our Land for Wildlife registered property has over 30 species of birdlife and many native animals including kangaroos, koalas and echidna. Stunning sunrises and sunsets and all within walking distance of Lowood shops along the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail which stretches for nearly 1km along the boundary. Situated halfway between Fernvale and Coominya makes this an ideal stop on your BVRT adventure or is ideal for a quick getaway being only an hour or so from Brisbane CBD. One booking covers 4 people (no matter how many set ups/caravans/tents you have) You can pick wherever in the paddock that you'd like to set up - there are no pre allocated spots and you will be able to pick a private spot. Take a stroll through the olive grove and set up a picnic amongst the trees! Olive View Estate is a stunning 35 acre 700 tree working olive farm and guest stay accommodation. We have two paddocks on the back of the olive grove with breath-taking views. Enjoy a walk through our gardens and olive grove. You are welcome to roam our entire property - we just suggest wearing enclosed shoes. We have some very friendly farm animals - Olly the goat. Barb, Shaun, Dodge, Daisy, Duke, Georgie, Gracie and babies Leslie & Bo who all love carrots and apples. This is a full working farm and we restore vintage caravans and classic cars. You will see us pottering in the garden or walking our poodle, but we will leave you to your privacy. We have a beautiful vintage bus that we have converted into a farm shop and you can buy olives, relishes, honey, jam, seasonings, magnesium and more. We welcome small gatherings to celebrate birthdays, engagements or function (Christmas etc) just let us know during the booking process. We would appreciate quiet after 10pm. We are only 8 minutes from shops in town and a short drive for all of the Scenic Rim's attractions. We are in the heart of The Scenic Rim. The camping grounds is private and picturesque in our back paddocks - looking back over our olive grove and out to the great dividing range. We have fire pits set up in the camp area - please bring an extinguisher, wood and matches. The camp grounds has an easy access and campers have had no issues levelling out on the gentle slope or go higher up the paddock to the trees and the ground is level with the best views of the mountain ranges. Olive View Farm is ideal for self sufficient campers. At the front of the property near the bus shop we have permanent picnic tables set up for anyone to use. Dogs on a lead are welcome - we have lots of Kangaroos and Wallabies and we want to protect them. We are always on site and happy to help with anything you need. *Please note any negative feedback for camping received was from a festival that took place on our property in 2022 and the event organisers promised the campers facilities and did not deliver. Unfortunately Hipcamp won't remove these comments and we had no management of these customers. ALL other positive comments are through us direct.
