Pitch your tent or park your van in our picturesque orchard grove. We are right next door to Sublime Farm and Brewery, where you can meet new friends, pick your own limes, grab a delicious meal, sample their craft brews, and enjoy live music on the weekends.
It is a large block and there are campsites far enough away that you can enjoy the peace and quiet.
Our guests are required to be self contained (have own shower & toilet). Our pub toilets are open 24 hours as a courtesy. We also have a basic/spartan shower/toilet block for emergencies/back up.
Pets are permitted but must be kept on a leash at all times n campground and at the pub. This is to protect the wildlife and surrounding environment.

Even though it is a shed it has all the basic ammenties any place has. The only difference is the ceiling looks a bit different. Fully equipped kitchen is stocked with all of the things you'd need to cook a sunday roast or even a microwave meal if you'd prefer. Complimentary coffee and tea for those that need it. The bathroom has a large shower with a gas hot water system. Its a dream for anyone who enjoys hot showers. Dual washing machine and dryer for those wet weather days that won't allow you to use the clothes line.
We can accomodate up to six guests. Bedroom one contains two single beds, a 40" smart Tv and USB charging outlets along with a small cuboard for clothes storage. Bedroom two which has been closed in utilising large wardrobes with hanging and shelf storage. This contains one queen size bed and a 40" smart TV along with USB charging outlets. We have added a sofa bed in the lounge room that is equivallent to a double bed. All beds linen has been provided to allow for a comfortable stay. All TVs have access to netflix as well for those much needed movie nights.
The yard is fully fenced with plenty of space for your boat or jet skis. Public boat ramp is only 2.5km's from the property giving you access to the fish the nearby reefs and fraser island. There is a hose long enough to flush out your gear and give the boat a quick hose down when you finally decide to come back to land.
Fraser island sealink ferry is only a 35 minutes drive away to make a day trip to one of the largest sand islands in the world. Hervey bay Wetside Water Park is also only a 20 minute drive away and is a perfect way to keep the kids happy and entertained. Swim with the turtles at Reef world Aquirium or go for a wander down the Urangan peer. FInish up the day with some dinner at the Hervey Bay boat club with a beer or wine in hand.
If you have missed any essentials or you're craving a crumb sausage the Toogoom convenience store is only 800m down the road along with the pharmacy. Local restaurants are near the boat ramp for a night free of cooking and clean up duties. Throw a rod in at the jetty while you're waiting for breakfast at Goodys.

Our property is situated on the banks of the great sandy strait just 400m from the Tuan Boat ramp with access to Fraser Island by boat or kayak. We are surrounded by Tuan State Forest and wetlands. There is a medium sized dam on the property for swimming.The Tuan Forshore has a park, BBQ area and picnic tables as well as garbage disposal.
There is plenty of space in the surrounding forests for mountain biking, motor-biking and walking. 3km down the road in Boonooroo you will find a large park with tennis court and public BBQ's. The bowls club and Golf Club just 3km away and serve meals on weekends.
This site is suitable for caravans, RV's, camper trailers. There is NO toilet facility on the property. We are VERY dog friendly and can be off lead as long as the dogs are friendly towards people and other dogs and don't bite our horses. We also have other peoples horses agisting in paddocks. Activities you can do include boating, kayaking, swimming, fishing, crabbing, walking, stand up paddle boarding, bird watching, kangaroo spotting, playing in the parks, beach tennis, mountain biking, hiking etc.
Camp sites are far from the main house and other sites so you can have camp fires and play music, use generators without worry.
Campers will need to be self contained (rubbish and toilets) and please leave your campsite the way you found it. Don't leave toilet paper or rubbish in fire pits please.
Enter / Exit the main gate by pushing the code into the key pad. Gate closes after 20 seconds once it is fully open so be quick.
NOTE: ***During Summer- November, December, January and February there are midgees (sandflies) at dusk and dawn and we do recommend midgee screening or spraying the mesh on your caravan windows as the standard mozzie mesh will not keep them out. Bring coils, a fan as they hate any breeze, bug spray and long sleeved pants and tops to wear in the evenings from about 5pm-7pm!***
*4X4's are recommended if you don't stay along the fence line as it can get muddy if there has been lots of rain. If you stay along the fence line you will be fine as the roads are compact and hard and the camp sites along this fence are higher up, they are marked with Fire Pits so camp here if you want to stay dry and get a good breeze.*

Directions into our Property-
Once you have turned into Uhlmanns road; the bitumen will turn to a dirt road. Look on your left - we are the second driveway on the left. it is gravel and dirt and goes up a small hill to the farm gates which will be open.
Once you have gone past the gate, the neighbours house is to your left along the fence line. Keep driving down the driveway; you will see an avenue of Camphor Laurel trees.
Camp site 1 is to the right of the trees on the flats of the front paddock. You will also see a fire pit.
We are now a working hobby farm and have animals free ranging on the property. If you wish to bring a pet, please ensure they are bird/ animal/ dog friendly.

There is a medium sized dam on the property for swimming.The Tuan Forshore has a park, BBQ area and picnic tables as well as garbage disposal.
There is plenty of space in the surrounding forests for mountain biking, motor-biking and walking. 3km down the road in Boonooroo you will find a large park with tennis court and public BBQ's. The bowls club and Golf Club just 3km away and serve meals on weekends.
This site is suitable for caravans, RV's, camper trailers. There is NO toilet facility on the property. We are VERY dog friendly and can be off lead as long as the dogs are friendly towards people and other dogs and don't bite our horses. We also have other peoples horses agisting in paddocks. Activities you can do include boating, kayaking, swimming, fishing, crabbing, walking, stand up paddle boarding, bird watching, kangaroo spotting, playing in the parks, beach tennis, mountain biking, hiking etc.
Camp sites are far from the main house and other sites so you can have camp fires and play music, use generators without worry.
Campers will need to be self contained (rubbish and toilets) and please leave your campsite the way you found it. Don't leave toilet paper or rubbish in fire pits please.
Enter / Exit the main gate by pushing the code into the key pad. Gate closes after 20 seconds once it is fully open so be quick.
NOTE: ***During Summer- November, December, January and February there are midgees (sandflies) at dusk and dawn and we do recommend midgee screening or spraying the mesh on your caravan windows as the standard mozzie mesh will not keep them out. Bring coils, a fan as they hate any breeze, bug spray and long sleeved pants and tops to wear in the evenings from about 5pm-7pm!***
*4X4's are recommended if you don't stay along the fence line as it can get muddy if there has been lots of rain. If you stay along the fence line you will be fine as the roads are compact and hard and the camp sites along this fence are higher up, they are marked with Fire Pits so camp here if you want to stay dry and get a good breeze.*

Directions into our Property-
Once you have turned into Uhlmanns road; the bitumen will turn to a dirt road. Look on your left - we are the second driveway on the left. it is gravel and dirt and goes up a small hill to the farm gates which will be open.
Once you have gone past the gate, the neighbours house is to your left along the fence line. Keep driving down the driveway; you will see an avenue of Camphor Laurel trees.
Camp site 1 is to the right of the trees on the flats of the front paddock. You will also see a fire pit.
We are now a working hobby farm and have animals free ranging on the property. If you wish to bring a pet, please ensure they are bird/ animal/ dog friendly.
Drive in and set yourself up.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Stargazers! The cows came to visit and the horses were very friendly and tolerable of our excitable GSD. The full fence is a bonus! We enjoyed the campfire where we cooked a steak dinner. Even in the wind and rain the cabin felt so cosy and well equipped. Avon and Brian are excellent hosts and we hope to be back for a longer stay soon! Many thanks!

This is our second stay at Avon’s and Brian’s beautiful cabin and we loved it just as much as the first time!
As usual, their horses visited us every day and it was nice to have the addition of cattle grazing around us as well.
We cooked our roast lamb and veggies in the camp oven and it was absolutely delicious, thanks to the fresh herbs from the garden.
Avon was a wonderful host as usual and we can’t wait to go back there again!

Lots of space. Good stop over for people that want to go over to Fraser Island. Also Raindow beach which has beach driving and plenty of other tourist attractions. The brewery itself is quite nice and has entertainment most weekends. We were lucky enough to see koalas which the kids loved. If you are camping in a tent and need facilities they are quite clean for what they are.

Our recent visit to Sublime Camping was an overall delightful experience. Nestled just off Tin Can Bay Road, the campground offers an escape from the hustle and bustle, as the traffic noise is blissfully absent. The unique aspect of this location is the ability to pick your own spot at the old lime farm, providing a sense of freedom.
While the camp facilities are minimalistic, it is important to note that all campers are required to be self-contained. This aspect adds to the charm and tranquility of the place, ensuring a peaceful environment for everyone.
Our group had the pleasure of enjoying some great meals at the Sublime Brewery, accompanied by a few of their signature brews. The combination of great food, drinks, and good company made for a memorable weekend.
However, it is worth mentioning that our tranquil morning was interrupted by the sound of mowing before 7 am on a Sunday morning. While this was a minor inconvenience, it did detract from our overall positive experience at this quiet little spot.
In conclusion, Sublime Camping is a hidden gem for those seeking a peaceful and self-contained camping experience. Just be prepared for an early morning wake-up call if the groundskeeper decides to mow the lawn.
