Weekend Trip to Crystal Creek Rainforest Treehouse

Amazing hidden spot, we had an awesome time with my two teenage boys and our dog, the site is quiet, tidy and the tree house is a dream come true. Went for a short walk down the creek, paddled on the water pond just 30 mtrs away from the house and enjoyed a fire in and out of the house. The house was neat and tidy, small but comfortable enough and having the kitchen area below and separate toilet was fine also, a hot shower in the evening was comforting also. We drove to the closest town only 15 min drive - Chilinngham that has a local pub/shop and basketball court with petrol available also, and only 30 min on our way back, we checked out the natural bridge park, which is worthed and an easy walk on a safe track for only 45 minutes. Annete and Paul were great with communication and respecting privacy. Id love to come back probably during summer to enjoy the water pond more for a swim and paddling. Thank you guys!

It really was the trip that my partner needed. Getting away from the city life and being in nature. He really enjoyed himself/ hosts were amazing and very accomodating. Nothing but great things to say for this beautiful spot!:)

We enjoyed our stay a lot. It was quiet, the beds comfortable and had a lovely view of the hills from the patio/ bed. We loved the fire at night time and had plenty of wood from the 2 bundle package. Its close to Potsville which has nice food options, we got nice Thai food as we arrived late the first night. The Thai closes early so we took it home and had it in front if the fire. We also had a lovely breakfast at Black Drop which i can highly recommend, loved by gluten free hubby, fussy eater 11 year old and me who can't eat eggs or bacon. I don't recommend to arrive at night as it would have been a breeze during daylight but harder at night time but Michaley was very helpfull to guide us to the tiny house. All in all lovely few days away. Thank you Michaley and Josh.

This is our second time to the treehouse and we will be back again. The kids loved exploring the area and making fires. The dog had a ball too. It's ideal for having a camping experience without the hassle of packing too much. Thankyou Paul and Aneta for another memorable stay.

Weekend Trip to Drumack Farmhouse

We had an amazing weekend getaway at Drummack Farmhouse with our crew of 8! The barn house was the real showstopper - we used it to teach each other line dancing under the stars, and the twinkling fairy lights and cozy fireplace created an unforgettable atmosphere. The rustic charm of the barn was the perfect backdrop for our country vibes. The property is stunning, with plenty of space to roam around and enjoy the peaceful countryside. Jessica, the host, was super helpful and welcoming. We loved the thoughtful touches and the overall vibe of the place. If you're looking for a unique spot to embrace the country vibe or just chill with mates, Drummack Farmhouse is a top pick. Can't wait to come back and do it all again!

Highly recommended as I forgot to confirm the booking one month ago then I had to do the last minute booking to celebrate my doggie birthday. The host Jessica is super helpful and nice, she prepared some local goodies and the gift for my dog. Feeling very welcome. The cottage is really pet friendly and dog can be unleashed all the time so they can be running around the big yard and getting the chance to meet other animals. The cattles is super friendly. The cottage contains everything that we need, during night time you can see the clear sky full of stars. Strongly recommend to all pawarent and family travel, definitely a good memory to stay. Looking forward to stay again

1 night at Field of Dreams, Haigslea

We stayed one night in the cabin and it was just beautiful! The place is stunning and the cabin really cute. Worth it getting there before sunset if on a nice clear day. Toilet and hot shower working well and with a view! Phil and his dogs are lovely hosts😊thank you!!

We loved the field of dreams! We were a group of two caravans, tent and rented the cottage too for a family camping trip and this place was perfect for it. The views are amazing, the property tidy and beautiful and the kids loved the cows! Phil was a great host and we're very fortunate to be allowed to experience a part of his beautiful property. It got pretty chilly at night but the campfire kept us warm with plenty of firewood to collect! The open bathroom might be a bit off putting for some as it's not very private (away from camp though) but has a hot water shower. Probably our favourite hipcamp to date and we'd happily come back!

Great spot away from the hustle and bustle of modern life…quite a drive away from any towns but that suited us just fine. Creek at the bottom of the drive for kids to play in, Cosy fire for winter and nothing but the sound of nature to greet you in the morning!

We are located 50km from Brisbane CBD, 1km from the Warrego Hwy, Sundowner Saloon and the country township of Marburg. We have a several cattle and horses, and regularly kangaroo, hare, and eagles frequent the farm. All overseen and kept in order by the ever present "Ziggy" and "Harvey" our lovely English Pointers. Enjoy lovely views and relaxed peaceful settings. The farm is off grid but all the normal services are available. We also have a little vegie garden that always needs a water, and the animals love their carrots and grain. Close to Brisbane Valley Rail Trail, Fernvale, Upper Brisbane River and Wivenhoe districts. In the area, you may want to check out the township of Marburg (local pub, shops and coffee), Sundowner Hotel, Savages Crossing, or the RAAF Amberley Heritage Museum (plan ahead). Friendly pets welcome as long as they are kept under control and are not a danger to the livestock. Field of Dreams takes no responsibility for the safety of visiting animals. Figtree Farm has an abundance of bird and animal life. Here, tranquillity reigns, save for the occasional serenade of our friendly neighbourhood donkeys and the odd rooster. If you wish to wander further afield, Kyogle is a 30 minute drive away. And there is an all weather tennis court (with lights) nearby at Bundgeam Hall. Our Hopkins Heights Bus is perched high on a hill on our 44 acre property in the North of the Tweed Valley looking out to the north over the McPherson Range. The Tweed Valley, effectively a caldera, was formed from the now extinct volcano of Mount Warning. Traditionally known by the first nations Bunjalung people as Wollumbin.
