Fantastic spot with level, green, well kept grass. Beautiful outlook of mountains with the Daintree river below. Easy 5 minute stroll to the tiny Daintree township and pub. Peaceful watching the cows and calves directly adjacent to site. Ending up staying 5 nights and used this as our base to visit Port Douglass (45 minute drive), Cooktown and back in a day (long day driving) and the very challenging 4WD Creb track and just time to chill and enjoy the serenity. Potable water on site is a bonus and helped us extend our stay. Highly recommend

We loved our stay at Kingston Road farm! The view is simply spectacular and the campsite is peaceful and quiet with lovely grass area for tent setup. Toilet and shower facilities are clean, well maintained, and very easy to access. Nerida and Mick were so welcoming and generous, giving us a tour around the farm and sharing their fresh produce with us! We had the best time and will definitely be back in the future!

This was a great stopover on our way to Cape Tribulation. We left Port Douglas lunch time after a morning cruise and stopped by Australian chocolate factory and Mossman Gorge. Rosemarie farm is beautiful and a nice view. Easy to find and peaceful. Was great to be away from the busy tourist area. My 6 year old enjoyed running around in open field. Will be back again. Yindilli Camping Ground is set amongst some of the most beautiful open eucalypt forests and rainforests of north Queensland and is located on the CREB Track, a popular 4WD tourist route. Nearby is the iconic Roaring Meg Falls. The track is not suitable for towing caravans. We are 38klms from Daintree Village on the CREB Track (also known as Upper Daintree Rd) and it will take about 2.5hrs to drive as the road is unsealed, steep in sections and narrow. Be aware of weather conditions before travelling on this road as minimal rainfall can make the track slippery. An alternative route to Yindilli Camping ground is from the northern end of the track from Bloomfield via the China Camp Rd or the Zig Zag Track - both meet up with the CREB Track. We are 27klms from Bloomfield or 1 hour to drive, this section is graded regularly and easy to traverse in the dry season.The campsites have access to a freshwater creek for swimming and relaxing. The birdlife is abundant, including the occasional glimpse of a Cassowary. Camp sites are on 2.5ha of lush green lawns, lots of shade and within metres of a fresh water creek for swimming and relaxing. Facilities include: septic toilets, showers, dry firewood (on request) and spacious sites Children and pet friendly. Guests are advised to only light fires in designated areas and these must be fully extinguished before departure.

A peaceful acre and a half block straight off the road, flat grassed area with fencing between camp area and Neighbours. Plenty of space to set up where you feel comfortable within the fence and surrounded by horses. 15km or 20 minutes from Cairns City Centre and 10 minutes from Coles or Woolies in either direction. (Please note Gordonvale Woolies is closed on Sundays, Mount Sheridan shopping centre has Kmart, Coles and Woolies). A cane train line runs across the front of the property so during cane season the trains come past a few times during the day and night. They can be noisy but are fairly quick. Fresh and crystal clear swimming hole/ creek at the end of the road if you continue west down Maitland Road. Please stay in the front block and before the horse stables. Guests must be self-contained with their own toilet facilities.

This assists in avoiding overcrowding) There is NO access to our property from Kuranda end! Visitors need to go through Mareeba A beautiful 160 acre paddock that you can enjoy. Cleared slashed areas beside the river. Enjoy a river swim to cool you down during summer and go for a cold dip during winter. River is also good for fishing during the right season. Access to river is 100 metres on graded walking track. Unless you have a ‘booster ’there is very limited mobile coverage or internet. {enjoy the peace and solitude} Access to the property is fourteen kilometres gravel, coming off the highway. Sites are private separated from each other, some sites suit clothing optional guests Site is 300 metres from road and provides privacy. Tents and small caravans are ideal. Not suitable for highway caravans or very large vans as the access will be too rough. There are walking areas at rear of property. Be aware tropical North Queensland has paralysis ticks and we have snakes at times and visiting pigs. Water can be supplied upon request. Power generators are permitted . There may be minimal mobile service with Telstra. Campfire will only be permitted within fire pit. All campers will need to be self contained and leave no trace behind. Checkout is generally when you feel like it. Dog friendly. Site may be closed in the wet season from December to April, once monsoonal events occur
