A smaller paver firepit, plenty fine for sitting around an open fire while watching the stars at night. Swimming in the creek is not recommended. What an amazing little hidden gem, the three campsites are so private, all on the creek and surrounded by nature. Right in the heart of the beautiful rainforest of far North Qld tablelands. So many birds, the weather is so much cooler than the coast and the hosts Alan and Sue are super friendly and make you feel at home on their gorgeous property. Suitable for totally self contained campers. We will definitely be back.

Great site - especially for children! Our preschool aged children enjoyed feeding the chickens and spotting for wildlife at night (though they were too loud to see much!) I was incredibly impressed that there were no mosquitos!!! Shame we only had one night - but it was worth it and the area surrounding is beautiful - stunning waterfalls, and they’re quiet with no other visitors first thing in the morning!

Fantastic stay at Platypus Lagoon! We had a great experience here — the site was quiet, private, and easy to find. The area is spacious, flat, and beautifully shaded, making it really comfortable for camping. Perfect spot if you’re after a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature. Would definitely stay again!

Camp fire under the stars with so many beautiful flowers scattered around the gardens. This place is truly your ultimate camping experience. The land where we camp is large enough for multiple caravans and level. Right in front of where you camp is the most magical fresh water creek. Plus your own private waterfall which is a short walk from your site. This place is truly so special and magical. Hubby and I have a rule that we never return to the same place twice. In 15 years of travelling around the world- this place is the only exception Jodie is so wonderful and welcoming. Please please please respect this place and leave no trace. Jodie thank you so much for allowing us to stay here. It really is one of a kind Oh my god! I forgot to mention the 2 most friendly and kind camp doggos that will come say hi and Blue will lead you to the waterfall like a little rainforest wizard guide haha

Three Falls is a fabulously tranquil spot within an easy distance to many waterfalls, hikes and local attractions. Nisha is a lovely host and she made us feel very welcome. The camping spot is very private, away from the main house with a short walk to the amenities. Highly recommend to others.

Beautiful little private spot next to the creek filled with fish and turtles. There were small rubbish and recycling bins provided, as well as an outhouse with a portable toilet which was kept very clean. Couldn’t swim in the creek as there has been recent croc sighting nearby but still great to camp by.

We so enjoyed our stay, one of our favourite camps ever. I would return to the area just to stay here again. The beautiful gardens welcomed us in, and our beautifully private lush campsite was easy to access and well presented. The crystal clear creek was the cherry on top, and beautiful Blue the border collie was a great tour guide up to the private waterfall. I loved the company of the horses and dogs so much, and Jodie was a lovely host. The wildlife surrounding us was beautiful, and we even saw fireflies at night. Just, incredible. Awesome spot with great views, only ones on the site that night. Showers clean and close to top pitches, owner Cherie very friendly. Had Sweet the horse in the field next to us and she was a week overdue, hoping she’s got a healthy foal!
