A great property. Plenty of grassy reasonably level areas to pick from including a large area with a firepit that would be great for a group. The showers are rustic- a bucket shower but at the end of a day exploring the area it was fantastic. Peace and quiet, we were visited by the chickens and rooster, guinea fowl and bush turkeys. Definitely a camp ground we would return to.

Beautiful little spot! Perfect to get away and relax, would thoroughly recommend this to anyone wanting to stay in the area. By far the best spot to camp or stay in the cabins, we absolutely loved it and it was our pick of all the camp spots in that area. Owners/managers were lovely and the restaurant was such a bonus after a big day of travel, pizza was amazing! 🤩 5 stars!

Tranquil Valley is a small 3 acre property separated from society. Travel down the Forestry road / fire break all the way to the end to find quite literally - a Tranquil Valley. Nestled on 3 acres but surrounded by state parks and reserves, this property feels more like 100 acres. With short walks through rainforest to find different creeks and swimming holes, direct access to Forestry trails for bike riding and a short distance from many active hiking trails, you can simply rest up or plan to get active in nature. There are two camp spots available - "LingaLittleLonga" A flat, private camp spot perched higher on our property. Water and power an option at extra cost. No toilet or shower, currently a work in progress. Site has easy access and the option to park your vehicle with your camp. OR "Turkey Nest" - A walk-in only camp for those who wish to become one with nature. A drop dunny and camp fire grill is all you have with direct access to kayaking and swimming. Casuarina Park is a 640 acre working property situated 10.3km off the Bruce Highway in Central Queensland between Gladstone and Rockhampton. Camping is a self-sufficient affair with 2 long drop toilets. For small groups of campers we have available a hot shower and septic toilets.There is an abundance of wildlife to be seen as well as a 7km walking/bicycle track available to stretch out weary muscles. For fishing/crabbing enthusiasts it is a 15km 4 wheel drive access to Sandfly boat ramp for fishing and crabbing or 26km for a 2 wheel drive and larger boat to Ramsey's boat ramp located at The Narrows. Excellent fishing!Campfires are permitted with wood included (when restrictions aren't in place). Dogs allowed and must be on leash at all times.SPECIAL EVENTS: During the weekends only of QLD school holidays, we are open for motorbike trail rides. You need to have an MQ license and be part of a motorcycle club (we have our insurance with Motorcycling Queensland). If unsure please ask. This means things are a bit noisier on the weekends of school holidays. :)
